In my opinion, I feel like it's better crowd places in the neighborhood. I feel like one of the worst things that happened to this establishment is that viral on social media. And the quality of the food just went down. It looks nice on camera but once you get home, the food is flavorless. But I can't say that the service is pretty fast and they get the customers in and out and a decent amount of time. This place came highly recommended from family. So i added this place to my list of places to visit once I visited Jacksonville. I decided to stop by here on my way back home to Orlando . It was perfect that the plates come cold and they bag the seafood in microwave safe bags. The seafood was pretty cheap in price compared to some other places I've visited. The seafood is seasoned very well & topped in their AMAZING butter. You can also buy a side of extra butter if you want more. I decided on the Snow Crab platter, which came with 2 large snow crab clusters, potatoes, corn and an egg. I popped the platter in the microwave in the microwave bag for 2 minutes. The crabs were so good the seasoning/butter was delicious. The crabs had a slight sweet taste to them. They cracked easily and it was so much meat. The customer service was great and the locals come here so it got busy while we were there. The ambiance looked standard for a seafood spot. This is a grab and go spot. I will definitely recommend this place & actually can't wait to go back. read more

For the record...Seven seas was once recognized as a must try in the area and I myself have called this seafood spot my #1 choice for about a decade. Pros: I received good customer service while resolving my problem. Prices appear reasonable Cons: prices have a great deal of ambiguity *Price was posted as $10.99 but while calculating the total I saw a charge for 1.00 that wasn't tax and questioned it. My given response was "the $1.00 is for the garlic butter on the garlic shrimp tray." I explained i had never been charged this and the price should be 11.99 if they want to increase the price. Not say they're charging for a part of a meal that makes it so. Cons: Asked for mild and it was extremely hot. Cons: The seasoning wasn't garlic ( maybe that was a fee too) It was butter and cayenne pepper. read more

I rarely do garlic trays, so the experience is always new. I'm a fan of the egg and shrimp more than anything because I never eat the sausage. This place was PACKED!! My friend drove from the southside to the north just to come here. The service was good, but it was very slow since there were so many ppl. I think most of them taste the same and this place was really no different. I wanted a couple of things that they were out of, and them not having garlic toast really hurt my food spirits. FISH, SHRIMP, FRIES AND BREAD So, yeah this is what happens when you drive down the street with no destination in mind and you are sitting at the traffic light and see a bunch of cars coming from a place you've never seen before. I walked in not knowing what to expect but as soon as I opened the door, o was hit with the sound of Miles Davis playing softly and a smiling gentleman who helped me pick out what I wanted to eat and chatted with me a bit about the business and his family. And as I waited for my food he happily greeted every customer with the same warm customer service that he greeted me with. The food is tasty and not over seasoned. Even though the food is fried it wasn't greasy and it was so much for the price that you can either share with someone or have it for lunch and dinner for yourself. I ordered once through door dash and the food was great and it was warm. I decided to give it a 2nd go today because the price is good and the food was the last time I had it. I ordered once again through doordash and then called the store to ask for a cup of melted butter on the side. I get my food and the bag feels ice cold. I open the bag and the container and there's no seasoning, no sauce, nothing. The sausage literally looked uncooked, so I picked it up to feel it and it felt like ice. I then feel the rest and it's just as cold. I know for a fact that this plate was sitting in a fridge. I called the store and they said "We don't send out cooked food for doordash". What?! I ordered a month ago and it was cooked. They literally sent me food "fresh" out of the refrigerator. I called doordash and got my money back and ordered from Juicy Crab. So on Saturday I decided to venture out and try new places and came across Seven Seas Crab House. The pictures present for the business was definitely a deciding factor of me giving this place a try as it just made the food look magnificently delicious. When I arrived the business had a good amount of customers waiting but wasn't too packed and it seemed as though they were on it with getting people their orders in a timely manner. After order I would say probably waited for about 10 or 15 minutes. Not too bad a wait and plus I was super excited to try the Snow Crab Combo everyone had been raving about. Upon getting my food I didn't realize that they served it to you cold with instructions of heating it up for about 2minutes 30seconds. While I was expecting to just be able to dig right in, I had to wait until I got back home. After warming the food and digging in it didn't give me that blast of flavor that I was looking for. It wasn't as saucy as I expected it to be either but it wasn't bad. I'd probably come back and give them another try but I'm not sure it would be anytime soon read more

So the place i usually go to was out of Jumbo crabs. Gave this place a second try...sure enough. The jumbo crabs that i paid 57 bucks for were switched out by the same kid. When i got them home they were all smalls. I was wondering why he went to the back. Now i know im not loosing my mind!! If i could give this place 0 stars i would. I was visiting Jacksonville and wanted seafood, so I decided upon this place due to the ratings online. Maybe it was the young kid there, but he tried to serve my food cold (crab leg platter with eggs, corn potatoes) and when i has him reheat it he popped it a microwave and melted the container and all the juices from the garlic butter and seafood spilled out in my bag. Best seafood/crab shack i ever been to. We had a large platter with: 2 crab shrimp, crawfish, scallops, corn, potato etc - pointless to say it was damn delicious! The food was prepared very quick after ordering, it was really good price for what we got. The food was fresh, and the sauce was very unique a bit spicy though. This was our first time here, and we were standing around trying to figure out what to buy when the owner came over and gave us recommendations. We were a group of 8, so we did order a lot. We got the Black tray, We also ordered a shrimp tray, a snow crab tray, sides. And we tried the sweet potato pie which was delicious as well. They do put a lot of sauce over everything, but when we got back, we just microwaved the trays for 30 seconds, and the sauce just melted over everything. We like spicy, so the sauce was just right. The food looked great and the service was good but it only tasted average. I was super hyped after seeing my shrimp platter and just knew it would blow my mind. I thought anything smothered in butter was good but this was not the case. My preference is still the seafood spots I'm Savannah, GA.
