The thought of fried Salmon initially didn't make sense to me, I just happened to be riding through the area, (while hungry AF) and saw the food truck and stopped to check it out. I got the fried salmon and craby fries.... OMG I'm so thankful for my extreme hunger lol... hey stop by and check them out. I promise you will be glad you did.

The ABSOLUTE BEST fish sandwich, lobster fries, and slaw I have ever had! The bread was soft! The food was seasoned so well. I could and plan to eat here every Thursday as a treat to myself.

I tried Mr Frazier's when they came to the food truck rodeo at Court Square near where I work. I'm new at the job, but everyone told me about the food trucks and they said I had to make sure I tried the catfish here. I got the two piece catfish entree with seasoned fries and fried okra. As you can see from the picture, the catfish pieces were smaller than most other places. Not a problem in this case as they gave me 5 of them! The catfish was seasoned well and did not need the Cajun tartar sauce, though that was good as well. Fries and okra were great. Next time I'll have to try the wings!

Happened to stumble upon this food truck at Soulin on the River! I'm glad I did. The food is really good. I had the Surf & Turf. It includes 4 wings and 1 piece of fish for $20. That's a bit steep, but I guess the price of food is high so it makes since. I did add another piece of fish for $4. Everything was tasty and seasoned to perfection. The honey hot wing sauce is delicious. I enjoyed every bite. The staff was super friendly and moved quickly in handling the high demand of orders. This was the first food truck that had the notification devices. Such a good experience. I plan to go again! read more

This is a food truck. If you ever see it posted up.. stop. Trez does fish and wings. Fried okra, crab fries, fried corn on the cob. This is a must. If you are from Memphis then there is no excuse why you haven't been here. 0. He is normally open Thursday, Friday, & Saturday. This place deserves more stars. read more

You know.. I'm glad to give this review ... I have frequented thos food truck twice .. the first time I went was last year sometime and the fish was good the fries were ok.. but the slaw was warm ... so I didnt eat it.. but this time I went and gave another try ... the fish was hot and seasoned very well.. the fries were excellent.. and the corn on the cob was .. omg .. it was delicious. Its reasonably priced .. he has this really nice sauce for the fish ... its cajun or something .. but it was good and the gentleman is really nice ... So, I'm very skeptical of food trucks because, from my past experiences, it's not as good as what you would get in a sit-down restaurant. However, Mr. Fraziers's has changed my mind. I ordered the Dirty Wings with Cajun buffalo sauce from Chef Montreze. They were great! Not too spicy and just the right amount of sweet. They came with fries, which are seasoned fries. Everything was hot and fresh. I didn't get a chance to take a pic before digging in. I think that I have also had the fish at another occasion which is also pretty good. I had Mr. Frazier's at the Mid-South Food Truck Fest. The staff is very friendly, and they advertised it being farm raised catfish. This was a plus, so I was expecting large, juicy pieces. While the fish was well-seasoned and good, I would have raved more about it if it was thicker. Mr. Frazier's came to the UT's health science center food truck day, and I was craving fried... Chicken! Instead I was drawn to Mr. Frazier's, because it had been a long time since I had some good fried catfish. I ordered the 2 piece catfish combo, but there were also chicken wings and catfish po boys to choose from. The combo I got included coleslaw and fries plus the 2 fried catfish pieces. It was cooked and breaded well, all crunchy breading and tender fish. If the catfish pieces were a bit thicker AND the fries were handmade, I would have done 5 stars. As it was, the pieces were a little small for me, and the fries tasted like they were the frozen ready-make kind. Handmade fries in this combo would have sent me into a nirvana-like state. The coleslaw was okay, but tasted a lot like pickles and had pickle chips in it. Not what I was expecting, but not bad. I eat at this food truck every time they visit UT Health Science Center. Their catfish is always hot and delicious, and their wings are delicious with lots of sauce. When they offer the catfish and wings combo, I LOVE it. Such good food and friendly service. read more

I've had A LOT of catfish being from the Mississippi Delta and this is some of the best I've had! He was parked outside of my work on Poplar and I ordered the catfish plate that came with 2 fillets. Both fillets were very crispy and seasoned well. The fish was obviously high quality because it had no strong fishy odor and was completely white throughout (no grey muddy color). The fries were seasened very well. I'm still trying to figure out what he put on those! The cole slaw was decent. (I'm not a big cole slaw fan so take that with salt) Service was prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable for seafood/fish. I absolutely would recommend Mr Fraizer's to anyone looking for fish in the Memphis area. read more

THE FOOD & WINE At $65 for a 5-course Chef's Tasting Menu and $35 for the wine pairing, it is a good value. We started with a tasty carrot coriander amuse-bouche from Chef Nate, followed by: * Georges Banks Scallops: Served with tomato gelatin, cured kiwi, and crema. Paired well with a crisp New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. * Sweet Potato Tamale: Topped with spiced mayo, avocado crema, and charred cabbage. The spicy jalapeños and radishes added a bright kick that paired nicely with a blush-colored, floral Pinot Grigio. * Elysian Fields Lamb Cubano: A rich, complex dish featuring lamb shoulder and a fantastic touch of lamb heart (marinated for a week in adobo). Fresh arugula and pickles offset the richness, and the toasted focaccia was an amazing match. Paired with a medium-bodied Grenache that cut through the rich flavors. * Acadian Redfish: Charcoal-grilled with a creamy crawfish hollandaise and light-bodied potato crisps. This is the chef's elevated take on his mother's fish and chips, and it had a nice balance of oil and salt. * Dessert: Finished with a strawberry ice cream terrine and a decadent six-layer carrot cake that was moist, intense, and packed with pistachio crème. * We had a robust 2015 St. Emilion with a medium/heavy body, nice tannins, and age! THE SERVICE * The service was highly attentive, friendly, and earns a solid 4 stars. Sam, the sommelier, was knowledgeable and shared his insights on the pairings (he noted the 3rd and 4th courses were his personal favorites). Special thanks to Daisy for helping us with our first visit, walking us through the tasting courses, and recommending local places. * Because the restaurant ambitiously rotates its tasting menu every 2-3 weeks, it is harder for the staff to keep on top of the tasting menu details (compared to their regular menu items). OVERALL Overall, a fantastic 4-star experience. The culinary creativity and the beautiful dining room make it highly recommended!
