Jada has ruined me for anyone else. As someone who would always get a massage when they went on vacation, and always at a top spa in the country, I no longer do that because it is disappointing and it doesn't compare to the massages I get from Jaaspaa. I highly recommend JaaSpaa. Jada does a fantastic job of setting the mood and paying attention to the little details which enhance the experience of a massage; such as, having a warming massage table, providing different scents throughout the massage, and in general creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have been seeing Jada just about every month for the last year (two years?! I have lost count). In that time Jada has been my massage therapist, and more importantly, my friend. If you visit the JaaSpaa, you won't be walking into a cookie cutter massage factory. You're walking into a home, with a cozy space to relax and unwind. I remember my first session, meeting Jada and telling her that I had booked to get away from work stress. She told me something I'd never forget: "When you enter the room, drop the stress before you walk into the room. When you leave, you will have to pick it back up, but it will look different." It's some of the best advice I received - and I've realized it's really about how you're looking at life. Month to month, my sessions have left me feeling relaxed, energetic, renewed, and cared for. I do want to add some color on the time management comments others have left. I understand your view, but I ask you to consider this: if Jada functioned on a strict schedule, would she be able to put the same care into every session? Perhaps not. So, two suggestions: - Book her early in the day before delays can even occur (same advice for doctors offices!). I have found my morning sessions with Jada start my day off on the best foot. - Realize that the day of your session should be flexible. I rarely have any plans or appointments the hours following my session. Why? I don't want to undo that relaxation, and I don't want to worry about what I may be late to during my session. I really like Jada and she provides a great massage for the money. She'll work with you on any pain points and does a great job making you feel comfortable, and her home studio has great atmosphere. But her time management skills have been a continuous problem for me, and resulted in my scheduled appointments being pushed back anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes. First, let's focus on the positives: Jada does a great job and is an awesome masseuse. She'll spend her time working on your entire body, including cracking your knuckles and even stretching your legs out a bit. You'll feel like a new person when you leave. Jada is also an immensely friendly person who really seems to care about her customers. She'll ask about how things are going, remember things about you, and really seems to genuinely care. The studio is the lower floor of a house, which can be weird when the tiny dog is barking at you while you walk in, but it feels professional and relaxing. There's a TV showing relaxing scenes, nice ambient music playing. The whole deal. Of course, if your experience is anything like mine, your massage isn't going to start anywhere close to on time. The first two times, I got texts from her about 30 minutes before the appointment saying she was running 30-45 minutes late. Annoying, but doable. The last time, I got there and waited 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time, only for Jada to come out and tell me it would be another 30 minutes. So not only was it 45 minutes late, but you didn't even tell me until 15 minutes AFTER it was supposed to start. I'm sorry, but that's not acceptable. An hour massage just cost me two hours. And time is another form of currency. We only have so much time to do the things we want in a day. It's important to respect that time. Jada is a great lady and I wish nothing but the best for her, but my repeated frustrations with scheduling make it hard to recommend without any caveats. JaaSpa will provide a great massage at a reasonable price. It might just take a little (or a lot) longer than you thought. read more

I have been receiving massages from Jada for about a year now. She is kind, and gentle in her demeanor while being very professional. She does a thorough job of getting to know you and your individual needs- which is NOT the case at every massage establishment. She understands the human body and it's mechanics which makes for an awesome deep tissue or sports type massage, however she also does lighter style massage and is open to suggestions during the session (ie. "a little less pressure in that spot/a little more pressure there"). Her space is clean and tranquil and the massage experience is worth every penny. Thank you endlessly Jada. read more

My husband and I had booked a couples deep tissue massage here using a Groupon after reading good reviews online. First of all, their online booking system is very easy to use. Jada has a very cozy basement den which she's converted to a spa therapy area. The room was dimly lit, with soothing music and aromatic fragrances. She asked me for the reason behind booking a session in order to understand what sort of custom therapy I needed. She noted any focus areas I mentioned and did a wonderful job! The pressure applied was perfect and I felt relaxed yet energized after the session. Jada was a sweetheart to accept the Groupon and not treat us differently because of it. Jada is INCREDIBLE. I found her on Groupon and now I'm hooked. I've had massages in New York, LA, Paris and Rome, and there is no one else with her attention to every tiny detail, making sure you have not only a relaxing experience but a luxurious one. She is a gifted massage therapist and very attentive and adaptable to whatever you need on any given day. In addition, her healing energy and generous heart add immeasurably to the experience. I bought my husband the gift of massage and he went for his first ever massage on his birthday. Jada was a ray of sunshine upon meeting her and she quickly put my husband's mind at ease. She explained the process, what to expect, the benefits of massage and did so in such a warm, welcoming way. Highly recommend Jada as a massage therapist and friendly, outgoing, professional person. As an athlete and active person she continues to help keep my body loose and work on problem areas. She will listen to EXACTLY what you want worked on for each and every massage. I've been to many, many massage therapists and she ranks very high on the list of top experiences! The ONLY reason she doesn't get 5 stars is for always running late. Not usually a big deal but if you run a tight time schedule that can be a problem. If I could give less stars, I would. I purchased a gift certificate here for my friend who is a truck driver and work 6 days a week he does not have the ability to go online randomly in the middle of the day while he's driving to make appointments but he does have a headset and can speak to a person on the phone unfortunately with this business that's not possible. This is a one man show. While the therapist is perfectly fine and does a good job there is no professionalism in the office zero her flexibility for appointments and scheduling is awful she's not open on Sunday if you want a massage on a Saturday you have to book at least two weeks in advance to try to get an opening because she's the only massage therapist on the place she isn't open on Sunday but yet doesn't hire somebody to maybe work there for her on her day off to cover her shift she hasn't even considered that possibility. She has not hired receptionist person to one confirm calls to to take calls and 3 to speak with clients. I highly recommend not buying a gift certificate for this place because it's very difficult to utilize. It was the biggest mistake I ever made I ask for my money back and now I have to go through my credit card receipt and possibly small claims court to get my money back for a gift certificate that we aren't able to utilize.. the place where you get the massages inside her house, it's not in a massage therapy office / Studio / Wellness Care Facility. I am in a massage club and if you are not happy with the massage club you have 30 days to write them and tell them about your unhappiness and still receive a refund. That's not the way this place works you buy a bundle and no matter what if you're happy or unhappy you do not get your money back even if you can't get an appointment with her those are her rules she does not post that on her sight she did not send the gift certificate so it's certainly not posted on any gift certificate that we received but it's not really a professionally run business. Live and learn I guess but I hope that you can learn before you get burned like I did. We simply ask for a refund of a massage that we never received. I had such a great experience at JaaSpaa. Jada is delightful and was attentive, cheerful, and professional. And, she offered to honor a Groupon discount as an introductory rate, making it an incredible bargain for what is honestly the best massage I've ever had. I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage after a half marathon and left in much, much better condition than I came in. I can't recommend this one enough. read more

Jada is absolutely wonderful! My experience at her spa has exceeded my expectations by 1000%. I let her know after the massage how much I appreciated how communicative she is before and during the massage. She had a brief but thorough consultation with me to acknowledge the areas I was experiencing pain/problem areas, and during the massage she felt out my need to relax and just checked in with me to make sure I was comfortable with the temperature of the room. She is accommodating and understanding of my allergies and skin sensitivities. She has magical hands, I mean, HANDS DOWN best massage I've had in my life. I love her incorporation of natural ingredients and essential oils. Her spa is very welcoming and relaxing. I can't wait to see her for my second session. I am SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND JADA!
