My son and I have always wanted a snake. I have a lot of friends that own snakes and reptiles but After seeing corporate companies (you know, the big ones) I was 100% sold on Jabberwock. The woman that sold me and my son our new snake(forgive me I don't remember her name, but she had blue hair) walked us through all of it and answered all our questions. My son and I set up the tank together and my son is stoked. More importantly, I was given extra info on top of what I already knew about pythons. Upon inspecting the shop a bit, I could tell the entire staff really cared about the handling and well being of the animals. They are knowledgeable, have TONS of breeds of any reptile you want, and I know if I have any questions about me and my sons new pet, I could call or stop by. I've always wanted a ball python, and my son did too and I'm glad I didn't go anywhere else.

A little Mourning Gecko! (thumb near glass for comparison, do not touch glass, the geckos think it's rude)

This place is exactly what every reptile shop should be. Their set ups are great, the animals are well cared for, and the staff has up to date/accurate information on caring for the animals they sell. There are a lot of interesting species here that you don't see often outside of expo settings. Today when I went they had mossy tree frogs, multiple types of chameleons, both Northern and Indonesian blue tongue skinks, dart frogs, and a giant gecko. All of which had adequate setups. Even with the more common species, like bearded dragons, they usually carry more interesting morphs/colors. My s/o works at Petco, but I still drive an hour out of my way to go here because this place is a gem and I think it's important to support them. They also have a lot of different feeder/clean up crew insects, a nice selection of enclosures (cheaper than Petco, even after an employee discount), vivarium plants, and cork bark tunnels big enough for even my chonky hedgehog to fit inside. Their pricing is usually lower than Petco/Petsmart and on par with online places like Josh's Frogs. It's a small space, but they fit a lot in there comfortably. On top of all that, they have experience with bioactive setups and sometimes sell established setups with the reptile. It's really nice being able to ask a real person a question instead of digging through old threads on forums for an answer. My only criticism is that their leopard gecko set ups aren't on par with the rest of the set ups and it's difficult to see those lizards without asking to have them taken out, but that's not a huge deal because the set ups are still good enough to keep the geckos healthy. basically: go here, buy everything, it's excellent

Staff is always super helpful and courteous. Prices are fair and the store is always super clean and neat. Just picked up this big guy someone needed to re-home. His name is now HANK! We've been buying our bearded dragons their snack here for over a year.

Riddle--A male albino ball python (~1 year old) that I adopted from Jabberwock.

In June 2016, I adopted Riddle--my male albino ball python (~1 year old) from Jabberwock Reptiles. He was (and is) healthy and calm when handled because the reptile associates at Jabberwock care for the animals and handle them often (but with respect). I was hugely impressed by the associates' knowledge of the animals and, frankly, their affection for them. About a month after I brought him home, Riddle went off food for a bit. Because she'd encouraged me to, I called the same associate I worked with when adopting him and she was happy to talk to me on the phone about what I could do. Her advice worked and Riddle is now a great eater! I am so happy with my boy and very grateful to Jabberwock Reptiles.

We Loved Remy so much that we got him a companion from Jabberwock. Her name is Bella Donna!

Just got our first bearded dragon today and I am BEYOND stoked about it. S/he is perfect (we have no idea of the sex yet). Of course- Jabberwock is the only place I'll go for my reptiles. They are extremely knowledgeable and have a wide variety of critters to chose from. Looking for tarantulas? Chameleons? Dubia roaches? Betta fish? Tanks and accessories? Come HERE!! They're amazing and have everything you need. I was driving 1.5 hours to get there when I was living in CT. Now that I live in MA- I make it a point to stop in when I can. Especially since dubia roaches are not easy to come buy! The prices are REALLY reasonable and, if you can stand a few dings and scratches, they occasionally have used set ups for sale if you're on a budget. Just got home so I'm going to set up Izzy's tank (LOL named my beardie after a Puerto Rican restaurant I brought her to in Cambridge this afternoon).

Do you have young female pet rats for sale? Our kids would love some multi colored, especially the darker colors

Store Owner: While we do mostly provide live rodents for feeders we do have a small number of people who choose to purchase our rats to keep as pets. We do recommend having them vetted after purchase if you intend to keep one as a pet to ensure the…
