Albie Jachimowicz represented me in 2003/2004. Personally I would not recommend and would avoid working with him or with his law firm. Mr. Jachimowicz is more focused on profiting from our troubles than focusing on the defense. After overlooking numerous aspects of my case details and dismissing my concerns during discussions during plea negotiations it was later shown that those details could have been used in plea negotiations or trial. Over the years and after multiple requests Mr. Jachimowicz refuses to even state the discussions happened. He refuses to look at what the concern was with a fresh set of eyes (since he's not paid to). He refuses to even make a blanket statement on his normal approach and wording given to his clients during plea negotiations despite being completely generic and not case specific (offered to pay for his time). He cares more about his reputation than to possibly admit he may have overlooked a few details since this was the first case of its kind he had handled. Once he cashes your check, do not expect anything over and beyond what any other attorney will give you. Out of all of my court dates, he couldn't even show up to most of them and another lawyer from his firm showed up requesting a continuance. In my experience, he will accuse you of doing something illegal only for it to be proved that you didn't. But he will use this as leverage to not help you after your case is completed. In my experience, he will tell you that, although he is bound by attorney client privilege and will not disclose this information to the authorities he will also not help you. Lawyers were created and have a historical basis for helping those who are charged with a crime or need help with a potential criminal matter. Unfortunately, there are lawyers nowadays, who simply do it for the money. Mr. Jachimowicz opened up with me during my case about his humble beginnings and how his father immigrated from Europe during WW2 and escaped the Nazis. It's unfortunate that he seems to have forgotten his roots. If you want a lawyer, just for the name, recognition and are willing to pay well over market value that I recommend Albie Jachimowicz. But if you instead are looking for zealous representation with a competent attorney, who will fight for you, no matter what then I would look elsewhere. Very very disappointed in this law firm. I had a verbal agreement with Joel Waelty to represent me. I had to get a lawyer by May 23 and we talked in March. We went over all the terms way in advance. Then on May 20, three days before I was to report to court my lawyer, he sent a proposal that was very different from what we agreed to, changing his cut from 25% to 40% . and added that He that he gets paid a percentage BEFORE expenses are taken out, so he is basically paid twice for expenses. He gave me no time to get another lawyer in the process. Total bait and switch move. Super unethical. The proposal would have literally taken all the profits for the lawsuit themselves, leaving me with nothing. I can't believe he even sent this proposal to me. WOW! RUN away. TOTAL disregard fro anyone else but themselves. Sad sad day. read more

Can I give this firm a negative -5 stars? I would in a heartbeat. They are all talk no action law firm. When I first met the attorney, he said my case is a done deal that he will make sure I was taken care of. He said it's their fault and we should not have any issues. 5 months later not hearing anything from the attorney, I got a big package in the mail that my case was dropped and that they are returning all my file. I was rear ended and yet, the other insurance said that the guy behind me was hit so he hit me. Which no one saw another car and not even the police report but they denied my claim and my attorney thinks this case is too much work and no pay so they decided to drop my case. Dame on you. Wasted my time when I could have got a real attorney to handle my case. Do not go here. I'm stuck with all my medical bills while the driver who hit me is getting away with a slap on the wrist. read more
