Just a heads up... if you are coming to get tested for Covid and are under 18 with insurance, they are going to charge you for an office visit before they'll swab you. Then they don't accept insurance for rapid testing so that's another $75 on top of whatever your copay for urgent care is. Oh and they cannot give you an itemized bill after your visit. You need this type of bill to file the claim with insurance yourself to get refunded. Apparently you need to contact medical records for it... Funny how the people who charge you and take your money can only give you a credit card receipt and not an itemized receipt. All this is after they have you waiting 28 minutes from your appointment time. We called beforehand and were not told any of this. They just said... make an appointment online and we'll swab you in the car. As a comparison, we got tested before at another pediatric clinic in cypress and they were able to use our insurance, swab us in the car and were ahead of schedule so we were seen prior to our appointment time. We drove all the way from Cypress because our Montessori school called us today, New Year's Day to inform us that my son's class had an exposure and that we should get tested. I've taken my 8mo daughter here twice and twice she has been misdiagnosed. First, with roseola which caused her to have to stay home from daycare (pediatrician said there is no way it was roseola, that it was a rash reaction to bronchiolitis). Second, with a UTI when she actually had the flu and pneumonia. (Pneumonia so bad that she had steroid shots, antibiotic shots, and nebulizer treatments as soon as I got to the pediatrician's office the next morning and for 10 days after). As a first time mom I looked to them for guidance, but I told the Staff that she had a wheezing cough and I think it was RSV or bronchiolitis since she had just had that. They disagreed and diagnosed her with a UTI because of her 103 fever - despite having a wheezing cough, and flu like symptoms. After these two instances and my pediatrician's advice to never go back there again, I really was pushed over the edge when I got a past due invoice from them just now. I received a "third and final notice" to pay before it goes to collections - I never received a first or second notice. I know the Houston post office has had major issues since Imelda but they had an opportunity to collect payment when I was there a second time and didn't. Also when looking at the bill, I was billed twice for a flu screening (for one baby), and they charge $35!!!! to administer TYLENOL. Avoid this place at all costs. Instead call your pediatrician if after hours and get his/her advice on where to go. It won't be this place. read more

Best urgent care ever. I've been here multiple times with both of my kids. Front desk is always so kind and welcoming, check in is always so quick. The doctors I've had are very kind to my kids and they take their time to explain what's wrong or if there are any concerns/questions. I've been here as a walk-in and as an appointment and both have went very smoothly. read more

I think it's reasonable to expect a pediatric office to be staffed with people who like children. Not on this day with this nurse assistant. She didn't engage with or explain anything to my 5 yo. When it was time for the covid swab she stood by with her folded arms waiting for a willing participant to present her nose. At no time did it occur to her to offer comfort or encouragement or support. If you don't care about kids you probably shouldn't work with them especially when they need compassion the most. read more

HORRIBLE experience. We only went here on recommendation from our pediatrician, who we love and trust. However, we were very disappointed in the services provided. The staff was not competent in providing efficient services and clearly had poor communication since no one knew what the other one had told us. Clearly the organization is in major need of some quality control to work on effective communication and efficient patient care. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I've used Nightlight for my kids urgent health needs for years. Since moving to Houston and they have NEVER failed to deliver the upmost service. They are extremely attentive, understanding and caring. I will not use any other but them. read more

We took our two girls in to be COVID tested 9/9/2020 and one child's results were posted in her portal 9/11/2020. The other child's were not posted in her portal so we waited. Nothing came through and finally, on 9/15/2020, I reached out to the location to ask if they had her results. I was told that no, nothing was there and that a nurse would return my call. No call from nurse. 9/16/2020 After close I sent a message in my child's portal again asking about the results and noting that I'd called the day prior and had not received a callback. Nothing. So the afternoon of 9/17/2020 I called again and verified that the COVID test was run on my second child. Yes, we have her results. The woman on the phone was so unconcerned with the whole ordeal. I explained that I was quite frustrated due to the fact that her results were still not in her portal and no one from the location felt it necessary to return my contact attempts. She insisted the results were on her portal and didn't even address anything else I said. I had to ask that the results be emailed to me because as of 12:50 AM 9/18/2020 they are still NOT in her online portal and no nurse ever responded to my message attempt. When updating my husband he noted that they were supposed to call us with the results negative or positive. Neither child received a phone call from anyone at Night Light Pediatrics and we sat around for an entire week with a child who has been sick off and on (not with COVID, luckily) waiting for results from a test that we literally couldn't drag out of these people. The only other Night Light I've visited with my children is in Florida when we travel to Disney but I will never visit one again. From now on, when we're in Florida and need care I'll just pay the ER fee to avoid this company. I've requested a call back from the office manager after I was told they have no corporate department for complaints. I'll update this review in a week whether I receive a callback or not. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would but it would not allow me to change it without having to start my review over. We were very unhappy with our experience at this location. Our visit was on a Sunday. We waited at least 1 1/2 hours just for my son to be seen. These long wait times are unacceptable when you have an appointment. They inform you that you are next, bring you on back in to a room (with no TV or anything to entertain a child) close the door and keep you there another 45 mins to an hour before the NP comes in. When we inquired about when my son would be seen, both the receptionist working the front and the nurse responded with a horrible attitude. The nurse became disrespectful by raising her voice stating we needed to complain to management, not her, but never did either of them ever apologize to us for the long wait time we were experiencing. Lack of customer service skills that really represented this Urgent Care badly. They should not book these many appointments If they cannot see the patients in a reasonable amount of time. We do not recommend this location to your family! read more

WORST healthcare experience. Not friendly, couldn't get a "hello" even from the front desk. I asked if they kept COVID positive patients away from non-COVID patients and couldn't get a straight answer so who knows. While filling out paperwork via the phone, the e-signature function wasn't working and I brought it the attention of the front desk- they just stared at me and said nothing, not a peep out of the employee I was talking to. Beyond ridiculous- get a job somewhere else if you don't like dealing with patients. Finally another lady offered to print paper copies instead of electronic but it was too late- I did not feel comfortable letting these people treat my child. I left. This was the first time my 11 month old ever had a fever. I was full of anxiety. The office is very peaceful and clean. It's well decorated too! The front desk was very professional and the nurse and doctor was very thorough. Which made me feel extremely comfortable. Hopefully I don't have to take my kid to urgent care again but if I do I will definitely come here and I recommend it. read more

This place is awesome! My son was sick on a weekend and had been crying on and off for hours. I walked in, waited a bit and saw one of their doctors on staff who expertly diagnosed him with some respiratory issue, gave him treatment and sent us home with equipment and a prescription. My kid stopped crying and was finally able to sleep after being treated. Our primary care physician mentioned during the follow up how impressed she was with the diagnosis and treatment. I highly recommend this place, and I'm sure coming back if any of my kids is sick and I need urgent care! read more
