I called and emailed them proof in writing numerous times for the refund and they ignored me - apparently, they don't feel the need to pay back their overcharge. I went to this shop the other day to pick up flowers, and got an odd customer service vibe- both through my text exchange with the shop, and then with the two people I interacted with during my brief time in the shop. I left a 3 star rating on Google- didn't even write anything negative- yet they quickly made this response. Seems like my "odd customer service vibe" was spot on. Who responds like this to customers? By no means am I a flower expert, but Jack and Rose really delivered on our wedding day! Our wedding venue, Crest Hollow Country Club, required us to select a house florist (due to previous bad experiences with external florists) so we paid a visit to some of the vendors that they had on their list. After visiting a few florists, Jack and Rose came out on top, however it wasn't due to their distinct collection of flowers or great customer service, but it was simply due to their reasonable pricing. Jack and Rose seemingly offered the same services for far less than the competition and since CHCC trusted them as a house vendor we felt we were in a no lose situation. With all the above said, we had our doubts leading up to the day of our wedding. First, THAT CONTRACT. If ever there was a contract that should be presented in a 'Don't create a contract in this format' class, this was the one. After verbally agreeing to have Jack and Rose as our florist, we were presented our contract with all of the arrangements by Patty. When we first laid eyes on the contract, we took a look at each other like 'What the heck is this?" Apparently, we weren't the only ones that thought that based on past reviews as the contract had all different fonts on it, with different casing of the words and random bolding throughout. To say that the contract was poorly formatted was an understatement. It was confusing to look at and has probably scared many potential customers away in the past. If you're bold enough to sign that bizarre contract, like my wife and I, then it'll definitely be worth it though in the end. My wife and I had to go back a few more times for flower consultations, where they only do on weekdays, but it all definitely worked out in the end. All of our flowers were delivered on time to our hotel and to the wedding venue. We loved the groomsmen boutonnieres, bridesmaids' bouquets and the centerpiece flowers. In fact, we got multiple compliments on the centerpieces and many of our guests took them home. We recently had Jack and Rose Florist do our flowers for our wedding in May 2018. Our venue required us to have a house florist in their contact, so Jack and Rose was one of the few options given. Before visiting Jack and Rose, we did get a quote from another florist in the area that is another house vendor, but their quote was over our budget for what we wanted to spend. We then made an appointment with Jack and Rose Florist where we met with Patty. I showed Patty the sample pictures of what we wanted and she understood our vision. We wanted something simple, but elegant and classy. They were able to quote a price that was within our budget. During the centerpiece sample appointment the exact flowers we wanted of light pinks, whites and ivory colors we asked for were clearly represented. Our centerpieces were hydrangeas, roses, peonies with seeded eucalyptus. The day of the wedding our flowers arrived on time. The delivery guy showed us all the flowers and made sure we had everything. The bouquets turned out great. My bouquet had roses, spray roses, peonies and seeded eucalyptus with he same colors used for our centerpieces. My girls all had light pink roses. The flower boutonnières for the guys and the flower corsages for our moms turned out great too. The delivery guy assured me he will be setting the flowers at the church and the reception hall after leaving us. The set up at the church and reception hall looked great. Our reception room had all the tables beautifully decorated with the centerpieces and rose petals. They even threw in the flower petals like I asked for the two parents tables that had our own centerpieces. Our family and friends loved them. The only constructive criticism I could give is making the contract more organized. It takes a while to read through as the bold lettering is a bit distracting to the eye. Myself being detail-oriented, I was able to understand it by taking my time reading through it, but I can see why it can turn some people off or make them slightly frustrated. Jack and Rose was one of the preferred Florists for my wedding venue so we decided to check them out. To be quite upfront and honest, this place really made my fiance and I feel uncomfortable. It started with the very strange form they make you fill out while you are waiting for them to see you. It is very unorganized and difficult to understand, the font size is all over the place, there are random words bolded and highlighted and it was extremely confusing. They don't even leave enough room for you to answer the questions they are asking. Next we are seated in a very hectic room filled with centerpiece examples and Patty starts telling us the history of Jack and Rose, very informative but then she does not do a good job answering our questions. She gave us some albums to look through and I was immediately turned off, some of the photos were sideways and most of them were blurry! She also did not give any feedback or comments on what we could expect as we were looking through, she was just silent. It seemed very outdated and you would think they would have an updated portfolio to share and showcase their work. We gave her the info of how many bridesmaids and bouquets and centerpieces that we would need and she went off to get us the pricing from Jack who stayed in his office the entire time. She returned a few minutes later with what seemed was 3 random pricings including: the total price without discounts, the price she would give it to us for, and then the even better 50% off COVID deal that was ending that day apparently. We were actually so surprised by the low cost of the COVID deal that we agreed to move forward and pay the deposit of $800. She told us we could only pay with cash or a debit card. Now I am not sure about everyone else, but my fiance and I don't walk around with $800 cash randomly and neither of us had our debit cards so we tried to figure something else out. We agreed to Venmo them, she went to go get the Venmo username from Jack and then this is when we started to panic. My fiance wanted the Venmo user to accept his friend request so that we could verify it was the right user that we were about to pay $800 but Patty just kept saying "It is fine that is definitely the right account". The account did not have any profile photo and it had a generic name so we were concerned. We then told her we would like to see the contract and so she went to go print it. Meanwhile my fiance and I were feeling like something was off so we started looking at Yelp Reviews to which we were absolutely horrified. There are so many 1 star reviews with similar situations to what we experienced! I was annoyed at myself for not reviewing them before we set up the appointment with this business. We suddenly realized that the cost was too good to be true and to not give a down payment. Patty finally returned with the contract and asked if we had paid the Venmo account yet and we told her that we would have to review the contract with our parents before moving forward even though it was the "last" day for the COVID deal. We asked if we could see the contract so that we can tell our parents how much it would cost and exactly what we would be getting and she said, "No, sorry we don't do that". At this point we were very confused, so you don't let the customer review what they will be paying for before they give you an $800 down payment? That does not really make sense to me at all, something was definitely off and we left feeling very uneasy. When we got home we were curious and started looking on Google reviews and you can see that almost all of the 5 star reviews are clearly written by the same person, using poor grammar, random punctuation, and large spaces throughout the review; just as their contract was as well as Jack's responses to the reviews. The names of the reviewers are in all caps or all lowercase, the users only have 1 review total and the reviews themselves are basically saying the same exact things over and over again. A single word to describe my experience with this business: unprofessional. Please spare yourself the heartache and frustration and pass on this vendor. Jack and Rose, through their contracting, and designing process, have acted utterly unprofessional when it comes to guiding brides through the process of developing their wedding arrangements. This business continually gaslit my bride when discussing design options for floral arrangements. My bride requested such common flowers as ranunculus, seeded eucalyptus, garden roses and a variety of other greens for the bouquets and decorations for her venue, the Westbury Manor. My bride was told that these flowers would be unavailable for an October wedding, and was completely shut down and told that the only violet and burgundy flowers that would be available to her at that time of the year would be lilies and black calla lilies, which were expressly signaled by the bride that these flowers were associated with emotionally distressing times in her life, and should not be included in the arrangements. Designer Patty then took notes on the contract, which were nearly impossible to decipher and most certainly contributed to the confusion and manipulation on her part to not adhere to my bride's wishes. When scheduling another meeting to clarify the clear disconnect between the bride's wishes and the perceptions of Patty when designing the arrangements, it was clearly stated that the third meeting would be one to settle securely on the final flowers for the arrangements while on the phone with Patti. While beginning the meeting, Patty and Jack made it abundantly clear that they were uninformed that this meeting was another design one, and continually mentioned how much they were put out by having to have another meeting of this nature, even when this was stated clearly on the phone prior to this meeting. Not only was this incredible rude, but also bafflingly unprofessional and counter-intuitive to how one should conduct business: rather than condescending to your client, would not a business owner try to come to an agreement with their client so as to maintain their professional relationships and ensure that they received the revenue from their client? My bride was also gaslit on such minuscule details as being told by Jack and Rose that the business was closed on Tuesdays, yet their website clearly states their hours as being open on Tuesdays, and when my bride called the business, the owners were clearly in the building. This was in regards to my bride receiving her full refund, which she stated would be picked up on said Tuesday, and yet needed to prod Patti and Jack to relinquish her money in either a cashier's check or cash, as at this point all professional integrity on the part of this vendor had been dissolved. Jack himself condescended the most to myself and my bride, when he felt he needed to explain the concept of supply and demand in order to skirt their responsibilities in providing the common flowers that my bride wished to have in her arrangements. He felt the need to continually remind us how accommodating he and his business were, when they clearly acted the opposite during the entire process. Again, their business manner defies all logic, as they could not even act professionally enough to care about their business relationships, reputations, and at the very least acting cordial enough to ensure that they garner revenue with my bride's contract. If I could give this florist a negative review I would. They are the most unorganized and upmost rude to their customers. My wedding was 2 days ago and after multiple phone conversations was told the week of my wedding that the additional things I added does not count because it was on the phone and I was suppose to come in (never was told that). The "book keeper" (they don't have a bookkeeper) that they do not have told me off because they forgot an extra delivery spot. They blamed me for their how unorganized they were. She was rude and cutting with her words and made sure not to accommodate us when it came to bringing to the boutonnières to the groomsman and decorating my church (in which i paid for both). I had a funeral to attend and needed to find an arrangement for the following day, and I specifically wanted sunflowers. (Apparently, because of the flooding in South America their's a national shortage, or so I thought). I called Bob at Jack and Rose florists! Bob was more than helpful, and agreed to meet with me-on short notice; to discuss exactly what I wanted. He was warm, welcoming and understanding! Being a Party Planner requires extreme knowledge in Everything Floral (Design, Value, Delivery, Set up. ). This was a difficult task as this event was out of State for me . Upon initial contact with this shop I was provided every bit of info needed for my event. The end result was they were the best in Design understanding, Price was actually 10% less than 2 other Shops. So my phone calls always returned. Questions always answered. Delivery was actually exactly on time. The arrangements were Spectacular. They arrived with a bucket full of flowers in case any needed added or Incase I needed any extra for anything else. They came in and placed everything exactly where I requested. The arrangements were just mind blowing, With all the Vibrancy and Color I requested. The family received more phone calls and requests to know where the Flowers came from. The design decor that was requested was so outside of the normal event arrangements and yet they proved to me that they could do this with the Wow Factor that I was looking for. The Bridal Party had extra flowers to pop into hair that was a last minute Fashion idea that stole the night. Thank You to the amazing Crew at Jack and Rose Florist. I was beyond happy. I was married on November 3rd and I used Jack and Rose Florist of Woodbury and let me tell you they get a C- DO NOT use them. I am giving them a still passing grade because the price was decent and the flowers were fresh, however there was a boatload of other issues. 1. When we went for our first meeting I was never told they ONLY DO BUSINESS WITH CASH. No checks, no credit cards, CASH ONLY. Which would've been good to know BEFORE our appointment because my fiancé had to leave and search for his bank nearby and that took forever. I just feel like that's something you mention when you call a client to confirm the appointment. 2. The office itself is outdated and dusty. 3. Our first appointment was nearly TWO HOURS long because Patricia would leave and take 20 minutes before she would come back. She took so long once I had to go searching for her only to find Jack in the office, I attempted to get his attention and was rudely and blatantly ignored. All of these red flags should have turned me away but I ignored them. 4. After discussing all of our arrangements I wanted to give a picture of exactly what I was imagining and they wouldn't take it to keep in my file, I insisted they take them so they knew exactly what I wanted, and they wouldn't. 5. The final meeting took place about 2 or 3 weeks before the wedding, that's when we see our centerpieces. I thought that we'd be brought to the back where a table would be set up like a dinner table, and we'd get a real feel for how our thing would look like. That is not what happened, we were in the front entryway and they moved a stack of magazines and essentially plopped our centerpiece in front of us. When I wasn't impressed I tried articulating what I didn't love about it and instead of hearing me out I was just pushed towards their vision. I was so tired of wedding planning I just said whatever and threw my hands up. 6. I wanted some sparkly pieces in my bouquet like I had shown at the initial meeting, as a florist that does weddings you'd think they'd have them and just charge a bride if she wants them. Oh no. That's not the case. I was shown something they use and told "oh they sell this at Michael's or Amazon, you buy it, drop it off here and I'll use it" mind you it was hard as a MOTHERF****R to find something that resembled what she showed me. As if I didnt have enough last minute things to do, that was an annoying task to have on my list the week before my wedding. 7. I wanted a waterfall arrangement on our sweetheart table, something dramatic since we weren't getting a back drop and I showed them the picture, it's written on my contract and what I got on the wedding day was PATHETIC. It wasn't lush, it wasn't cascading, it was NOTHING like we discussed. I was so pissed. Then they have you sign paperwork the day of your wedding saying you are thrilled with what you've been given....even though it's too late to change it. I even said to the delivery guy "what the hell is this? This isn't what I asked for" my husband who is much more forgiving just said it's fine and not to let it spoil the night. I'm still pissed because I had a beautiful vision and it was not fulfilled. 8. Two weeks after my wedding I called to discuss the non waterfall arrangement that was on my table, I was told someone would call me back, no one has called me back. I'm not going to chase them down about something that can't be changed, but professionally they should do me the courtesy of calling me back. Especially after all the money we spent. Jack and Rose Florist provided the most MAGICAL, LUSH, FRESH, FULL and BEYOND MY WILDEST DREAMS, flowers for our wedding day on June 16, 2023 in Montauk, NY. The Bridesmaid bouquets, Groomsmen boutineers, Mother corsages, Flower Girl baskets, venue centerpieces and table displays, card place table, the fireplace mantle, cake table, and our Bride and Groom table were ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! BEYOND BREATHTAKING! They were the prettiest and fullest stargazer lilies, peonies, roses, and all of the other flowers, I have ever seen. The delivery men were so nice and professional and the design team did such an incredible job decorating our venue. Jack and Rose Florist is excellent at providing the best flowers in the industry. We used the flowers for a post-wedding celebration the next day and these flowers will last for at least another week. We have floral arrangements all over our home. Our wedding was this past weekend (12/3/2016) and we worked with Jack and Rose for our flowers. The flowers came out wonderful. Here is how the process went: Our first meeting, we met with Patty and she asked us about our vision and details of our wedding. I told Patty that I wanted anemones and she said they could do that. So, we decided to book with them. They are a cash only business, but we didn't mind it. Our second meeting, was on a week day. I believe they only do meetings on weekdays. Patty and I spoke about what the centerpieces would look like and what flowers would go into them. I chose my flowers with Patty's suggestions because I really don't know anything about flowers. After everything was planned, we hit a bump in the road because I was told that anemones were not in season. Patty could clearly tell I was upset. Jack made some calls and eventually found some. Our final meeting, was also on a weekday. Patty showed me the centerpiece and it looked great. They were able to get some anemones to put in the sample piece to show me exactly how it would look. (Pictures attached.). I also sent pictures of my floor plan to show Patty exactly where each centerpiece was to go because I had some high and lows mixed in. On our wedding day, the flowers and bouquets looked lovely. (Pictures attached). I received so many compliments! The delivery man was also very pleasant. He made sure everything was there. If I could give them 0 stars I would. The lack of communication with this business is very unfortunate. I've tried calling, emailing and texting them to go over the next step after paying $1000. Such a waste of time. Honestly if you can go with someone else I definitely would. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to be able to do just that and I couldn't be happier with my decision. They made it seem like they were going above and beyond for us but instead it was the complete opposite. The one thing I'm not going to do is go out of my way to accommodate them with their hours (which they're only open three days a week) when they should be accommodating us. Such a shame but I'm glad I found out while we had enough time to switch with someone else. Please don't waste your time. The stress of them not answering and getting back to you when you call is hard enough, and when they finally get back to you they make all excuses. I've talked to many brides and they said the same exact thing. Even went as far as saying they stopped answering days before her wedding and just showed up. She had no idea she was even going to have her flowers on the day of her wedding. We sadly sent Jack and Rose a venmo deposit to reserve our design appointment as we live in California and had plans to travel to New York to meet with them. Unfortunately, I realized too late that something wasn't adding up with this company. I contacted vendors in the industry to ask for feedback on Jack and Rose and received horrifying stories that ultimately lead us to go with another vendor. When I reached out to Jack and Rose for a refund on our "design appointment" deposit - I was pretty much told to get lost since I broke our agreement. Funnily enough no such agreement exists and we never signed anything. The owner is so unbelievable rude and his emails are borderline threatening. We waited a few days to post this review because we were conflicted. We gave Jack and Rose 4 stars because in the end the final product was everything we could ask for. The reason we were conflicted was the service. The whole process felt like a transaction and trying to get in contact with them is nearly impossible. Appointment times are not very friendly to work schedules. Almost every time we went back after our initial visit we could tell the lady didn't remember who we were and we actually had to remind her why we were there (we had appointments). The contract is extremely complicated and when they quote you your price be aware there is a delivery and set up fee that they did not include in the quoted price. They will mention the fee but not add it to the quote until after the contract is drafted. All in all the final product was great and the room looked fantastic. read more

I will freely admit that my wife and I were a bit hesitant about doing business with Jack and Rose after reading a lot of negative reviews online. But we were given a personal recommendation from a family friend and so we decided to go for it and hire them to do take care of the flowers for our wedding. I can easily say that tt was one of the best decisions we've ever made. From the first time we visited them, we were treated wonderfully by their staff. Patty was charged with taking us from the start to finish, and she was nothing short of a pleasure to work with. Even after my wife decided to make some changes to the arrangement of centerpieces, Patty made it extremely easy to come in to the shop and look at alternatives until we found exactly what we were looking for. All of the flowers we requested were there when we arrived at our wedding venue, all of them wrapped perfectly and prepared exactly as we had discussed. Our centerpieces were elegant and simple; we chose blue dyed orchids submerged in a cylinder filled with water and candles floating on top. They were absolutely exquisite. The bouquets and boutonnieres were perfect. We received rave reviews from our family, friends and other wedding guests about how much they liked what we had chosen, and we never could have gotten there without the help of Patty and owner Jack, who also took the time to thank us on several occasions for the pleasure of working with us. Just read a response from my original wedding comments from JR and am duly amused by the outrageous lies. I had commented on snippy attitude and how calls weren't returned after payment received. Now I see outright fibs regarding interaction that never took place, such as other places refusing to provide service to me and my note of gratitude to THEM for a job well done. I'm downgrading my star quality from 2 to 1. I don't do lying. And don't accept it either. Please do yourself a favor and choose carefully a vendor with consistently great reviews. One star is even being generous! My wedding was 6 months ago and I am still fighting for my deposit back from jack & rose. If the owner spent as much time answering these reviews and he did caring for his customers I'm sure these reviews would be much better! Had to take jack and rose to small claims court. Like other reviews have mentioned hours are not friendly to work schedules and impossible to ever reach someone unless it's for a negative matter. I have many nasty emails from the owner himself. As a "Covid" bride, I had limited opportunity to shop around for florists for my upcoming October 2021 wedding. Unfortunately, I found my way to Jack and Rose Florist, which has turned out to be the most UNPROFESSIONAL, UNRELIABLE, and CONDESCENDING business I have ever worked with, leaving my fiancé and I with no choice but to end our contract with them with just seven months until our wedding date. If you are considering this florist please be careful because they certainly are NOT a 5 star florist! The first meeting we had with Jack and Rose required a large deposit to be left in cash to secure a date and a contract; at this meeting flowers and table decor was discussed. When my fiancé and I went back for our second appointment and met with Patty, she began to go back on all of the flowers I had asked for in our original consultation. Every image I showed her for inspiration she claimed was "fake" or a bouquet "purchased from Etsy," including a real bouquet that was carried in a family member's wedding. Patty did not care to see the colors of the wedding dresses and insisted we go with red roses, black lillies, and orchids - NONE of these being what we were asking for. We were then shuffled out for their next appointment, leaving with all of this information being handwritten onto a contract and illegible for my fiancé and I to decipher. Being very unsatisfied, we called to request another design appointment on March 6th 2021, due to the back and forth with Patty on the initial consult, in which I felt forced to put together several pages of images, flowers, where they are grown, sample bouquets, and samples of how they should be tied, essentially doing the job that I had already paid them to do for us. As if this was not bad enough, when the second design appointment drew closer I was not going to be able to attend due to needing to take my mother for her chemotherapy treatment, so the family pulled together and my mother-in law, sister, and fiancé attended the appointment instead. As soon as they arrived for the appointment, Patty and Jack (the owner) both made it abundantly clear that they were put out by needing to take this appointment, and did not even welcome them back into the design space and made them sit in the lobby waiting area to take the meeting. Patty was unwilling to even take the images from us, making comments such as "I don't even know what these flowers are," and "what even is this?" Jack continued to interrupt and condescendingly explain the process of supply and demand and that his flowers are "from Holland", even though their contract directly states that the flowers come from Long Island Growers. Finally, Patty began to scribble our changes onto the contract and tried to have my fiancé sign them. We requested the contract be re-written and apparently this was also putting them out. Patty and Jack said they would both have the contract ready for us within a week's time. After a week had passed we began to call them the following Tuesday! Yes - a week and 3 days later with no response from the store. Eventually, there was a call back stating that they were unwilling to email us the new contract because they "don't do that." Ultimately, reaching the point of dissatisfaction and the belief that this company would not deliver the followers and product we were requesting, I had to go back to my venue who had recommended them. The owner of my venue was helpful enough to assist in voiding the contract with Jack and Rose and asking them to issue us a full refund. Jack responded to this with a series of passive aggressive text messages - not even a phone call or email! In short: our simple requests of eucalyptus, garden roses, and ranunculus were driven into the ground by this horribly unprofessional and condescending business. The owner is a liar and manipulator who operates his business based off of taking large deposits from clients, leaving them unhappy, and the clients being forced to walk away from thousands of dollars. The consultant, Patty, ultimately a bully, pushed her own agenda of flowers and designs. This business is untrustworthy, unprofessional, and unethical in the way they practice business. If you are newly engaged please please please save yourself the disappointment, tears, and stress and DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! read more

My son and his partner were to get married at Stonebridge Country Club October 2020. They received text messages asking for the second deposit that was due. But because of rescheduling the wedding technically it was not due at that time.. Due to Covid they rescheduled the wedding 3 separate times without a new date in mind until the pandemic was over. But were married in a private ceremony. I politely asked numerous times for a refund or credit and was denied. Stonebridge reached out on my behalf and they agreed to give a $500- credit. I now reached out to Jack & Rose to use my credit for an anniversary dinner. They were not very accommodating in scheduling a new appointment and then reached out to my son in law for another deposit for tge NEW appointmentthat was not evenset in ordertomove forward. I just want to use my $500.00 credit. But I guess they don't want to provide anything. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT FOR VARIOUS REASONS. read more

My wife came across a response to this last week and she thought I should respond. Just to be clear. The score is weighed down with 0 stars for service. Jack and Patty. Please don't take it personally. Work on your service. Yes, I was coming out of town, but my wife was the one that you guys put under stress. She loved working with every vendor we worked with except you. We never called past 5pm, otherwise we would perfectly understand. My suggestion to you. Show that you care NOT by badgering the bride/groom during the wedding, but working with them before the wedding. Have flowers to show during the actual flower arrangement (especially if it's schedule ahead of time and as you pointed out, when I am coming from out of town). And as for your documentation of no contact....sigh, Jack. Don't make things up. You answered a few phone calls, and even introduced yourselves the first time we went. I'm sure you're a good guy. Please let your customers feel that way about you, because i'm just letting you know it wasn't the case for the months we interacted with you. Also. Your CONTRACT with SO MUCH BOLD and CAPS LOCKS reminds ME OF when WE USED TO WRITE like that in MIDDLE SCHOOL. You might want to tone it down. Your response actually made me laugh because our contract with you looks like your response to my review. We were relieved when we saw your product. At least it wasn't a bad product on top of bad service. The centerpieces and bouquets were truly beautiful, and my wife was very pleased. (Yes, I'm being fair about both service and products). My suggestion for customers: I'd ask around first to see if anything has changed regarding service. There's equally good product if not better, and at much less the headache. I would avoid this company at all costs. They offered us a very good deal for our flowers or the wedding. We booked them about a year in advance. When it came time to sit down with Patty to discuss what we wanted, it was like talking to the wall. I'm not an expert in flowers but I would expect a floral company to know more than I do and to offer some ideas. Eventually, I randomly chose a photos on the wall of a centerpiece that I really liked. Assuming it is something simple that they have done for a wedding before. Patty kept on telling me that it would be extra for this, extra for that, and that the flowers would be arranged a certain way. In our contract, it stated that they could give us any arrangement we wanted. There was the scam. It was a lie. I insisted I wanted exactly what was shown in the picture displayed in their waiting area. It seemed like we had to discuss this over a thousand times. It seemed like she could not give me the centerpiece displayed on the wall of their facility. I just don't understand why that was so hard to do. Ultimately, she gave me a different centerpiece and told me that it would cost more money for the flowers displayed in the photo. When trying to contact the owner/manager, they were EXTREMELY RUDE!!!! Incompetent and rude. I have never ever been so frustrated with a business in my entire life. I repeatedly asked to speak to someone over the phone but instead got childish emails and down right OFFENSIVE! No name, no phone number, nothing. No one but a coward behind the computer writing back and forth to me and my husband. We tried to be professional. It was then too late for us to hire another florist. They are incompetent and RUDE and just not meant to be in the florist industry. The flowers they gave us looked like it was put together by a 5 year old! It was so plain and the flowers did not arrive fresh at all. On our actual wedding day, the rude delivery person requested that we sign the papers stating that all the flowers arrived in perfect condition as we had ordered them. We told him that we haven't even seen the flowers yet! Mind you, we were in the middle of taking photos for our wedding. Everyone representing the company is just rude and unprofessional! We also requested rose petals to be decorated on our cake and that was NEVER done. We had a plain wedding cake with NO flowers. I am so disgusted with this company! Weddings only happen once in a lifetime and I wish so badly I could take back working with Jack and Rose! Avoid them if you want to have a better wedding day with more competent workers. If I had the choice to give them 0 stars I would!!! Do NOT use this company. Contracts are unorganized with no official amount posted to them and difficult to understand. LATE!!! Flower delivery! Definitely not the stress you need or want on your special day. Don't even try to get into contact with them because no one answered our EMERGENCY call to find out where our flowers were and when they would be delivered. When I called to speak to someone about the late delivery and how it was unacceptable ( they charge a hideous amount for delivery) the women I spoke to gave me every excuse she could throw at me. Someone gave the delivery guy the wrong directions to the house ( its 2018 almost everyone knows how to work a gps) , he wasn't late at all ( which he was since I asked for my flowers to be delivered at a certain time, argued with me about how everything was eventually set up before everything started, and then blamed me because if I wasn't going to take pictures with my flowers before the church I should have known better and just had them delivered to the church ( who even states that to a paying customer?!?!?) UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I wasn't even looking for anything back from them; I just wanted to call and let them know how unstatisfied I was with their delivery service! I honestly never heard of someone telling a paying customer what they should have done even tho I gave them specific directions for delivery. honestly if I wanted it that way I would have set it up that way. Plus if the delivery guy wasn't late I would have had plenty of time to get my flowers before the church like I had planned to do. I am totally convinced that the delivery man the hired lied on the paperwork about times he delivered the items. Highly unprofessional! I paid for my flowers to be delivered by a certain time and they were almost an hour late! I am so sorry I used this company and will definitely not be recommending them to anyone. I really don't understand how they have such "high end clients" if they can't keep regular customers happy. My bridesmaids bouquets were wrong and some of the flowers were wilted ( roses). And I am sure the GM will comment back saying how I approved the delivery because I had no choice and just wanted the company to get to the venue to set up for my guests. The ONLY. I have very mixed feelings about Jack & Rose, but give them a 4 as a compromise. The final product that they produced deserves 5-stars, but considering some service issues, I had to bump it down. I worked with... Patty? And she & I just did *not* see eye-to-eye. I was definitely not what you would call a bridezilla (I SWEAR, I'd even let you ask my friends/family!), but she just really irritated me. I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted when we came in (well, I was, but apparently it wasn't feasible for my summer wedding) so she & I went back and forth a bit. While I do believe that she is knowledgeable and was trying in her own way to help, I swear if she had asked me one more time "Do you love it?" in response to 4-5 flowers that she had thrown together as a small-scale sample, I might have lunged across the table at her. In the end she helped me pick out very beautiful centerpieces that were great. People actually fought over who got to take them home ;) One complaint on delivery is that they did mess up the color of my flower girl's flowers, however the driver ran back, got the appropriate flowers, and delivered them before we even started taking pictures. In the end everything worked out fine, but the journey could've been much smoother. read more

Flowers weren't a big priority for our wedding. I wanted a white rose and hydrangea arrangement. Nothing fancy or crazy so I went with a florist that was pretty cost effective. They are not good on email and do not accept CC. Everything has to be done in person and when you are a week from your wedding and live 45-minutes away from the florist... having to drive there to give $200 because you need additional arrangements is the pits! Anyhow, the flowers looked fine but I remember at my last meeting with them I said "I really want to make sure that the roses are open in my bridal bouquet" and I was told "we can guarantee that. That's up to God." Ummm no, it's not. A florist will place orders with enough time for the flowers to open up as needed. The good thing is that they flowers were delivered on time and set up as agreed upon. They are polite enough and personally nice enough but like, I said, if you are trying to save on flowers or don't want something complicated or extravagant - you should consider this vendor. read more

The roses came withered to our daughters wedding also! it was very dissapointing.

we used them at the strong recommendation of crest hollow, but be aware. i was not made aware of the total final cost up front. We thought we agreed to a final price but there were additional charges once we had the contract for taxes and delivery. please, read the contract on your own - I felt rushed through it, and its very lengthy and confusing. Patty paraphrased everything for us, and that's fine. But We didn't even see the first page with the total costs,after we got home, we realized we were obligated to additional $600 i was not expecting. Had I known that BEFORE we signed, I would have changed our order to stay within budget. Also, the cancellation policy is NO cancellations, so just be aware. That being said, the flowers were AMAZING, perfect, everything showed up. They were just what we wanted and so beautiful. Breathtaking. They ask you to give a comment on the flowers on your wedding day. I would have no problem doing that ANY other time than that moment. I wish I could leave it at that, but... Our biggest complaint, the flowers were 45 minutes late. the place is down the road, and the arrival time was in the contract . Our photographer couldn't start pictures until the flowers arrived, and we only had 2 hours of daylight to deal with, so losing 1 hour of that time for the flowers ruined our photos. We didn't have nearly enough time to get our photos outside. Considering they are very intent on sticking to the contract, it was so disappointing. read more
