While in Nashville for a conference, I figured the best place to grab food would be at the Jack Daniels restaurant inside the Gaylord Opryland as there's nothing more Tennessee than JD! I arrived for an early Sunday evening dinner and the dining room was not super full, but it was still early. I ordered the Barbecue Mac & Cheese with brisket and it was heaven! The mac was nice and creamy and the red onions and chopped pickles were a yummy compliment. And take my advice and get the Jack's Honey Rolls (I did the half order which was still 5 rolls) they were absolutely delicious, rich, and comforting - the interior was soft and cloudy and the crust was just perfectly chewy with that dang honey and butter - yum. To sip, I went with the Motlow's Mule, and let me just say...it's officially my new favorite way to enjoy a mule! Perfect balance of refreshing and smooth with the Jack Daniels apple twist. The prices were reasonable, considering it was a resort restaurant (the portions were good) and the food came out quick and everything was prepared correctly. The atmosphere is true to the brand - very whiskey-themed with rustic charm and the bar was gorgeous. I loved the vibe, though I'm still bummed I forgot to snap a photo with the Jack Daniels statue (next time!). Special shoutout to Tyler, the bartender, who made the experience even better. He was super friendly, attentive, and checked in often to make sure I had everything I needed while we chatted about the Green Bay Detroit game playing on the bar TVs. Top-notch service! If you're staying at the Opryland or just nearby, this spot is definitely worth a visit - great food, great drinks, and great TN hospitality.

One of the more affordable places on grounds. The portions are large which makes it easy to share and help on price while staying on grounds. We got the pulled pork plate with fries and Mac and cheese. We also got a side of collards. The plate came with a cornbread muffin (sweet) We were sat right away and out waitress was very sweet and attentive. The food was good. And I love the place being all decorated for Christmas.

A true 5 stars! What a Great Place to eat in the Grand 'Ole Opryland Resort. On the yelp page it shows they open at 4:00 pm albeit we came at 12:30. SO glad we did! They have an Amazing Gluten Free menu. The chef came out and explained they have special friers and no cross contamination. She took my order personally. I'm a true celiac so this is an added bonus. Thank you to the chef! Brie was our waitress and she was informative and so kind. Thank you! They play country music, soft lighting ambience. They slow roast their bbq pork ribs and brisket for 24 hours. I want to come back for their GF Mac and cheese with brisket. Enjoy my yelp friends! 3 TV's to watch sports on. On the way out they gave us two signature barbecue spice. Thank you friends! Day 2- we came for the brisket and GF Mac and cheese. Kristi was our waitress and Aaron was the chef today. Great service. They also have GF desserts. Bon appétit!

Pleasantly surprised by the restaurant. Very, very friendly white staff and the atmosphere is incredible with all the a JD statue, wooden interior and even some stained glass decor. The food was pretty good as well. I would say the sweet tea, smoked chicken was excellent as well as the sides the collard greens and macaroni and cheese. I also had the and smoked sausages as well. Would definitely will come back to try some other menu items.

Solid meal! Got their burger (came with fries), a half order of the honey butter rolls, and an extra side of cole slaw. The star of the show was definitely the honey rolls - I highly recommend that! Though, I will say, as a solo diner, I was shocked at the amount that came out for a half order (5 good sized rolls). I ate 1 of them and needed to take the rest to go. The honey butter was delicious and the rolls soft and sticky. The burger was good, but nothing too special. Flavors were almost a little one dimensional, with really just the flavor of the meat coming through. This was noted as coming with fries and pickle chips. On the latter, there were only 2 small slices of pickles. More would've been great to add some crunch and another flavor element to the burger. Side of cole slaw was pretty small, though it was tasty and added texture to the burger. Also washed it all down with a Jack Daniel's old fashioned, which was good! Was also noted as the only Jack Daniel's restaurant in the US.

We were at the Gaylord for a conference and filed out to grab something to eat in between sessions. Mid afternoon was a great time to sneak in here. Decorated in Jack Daniels fashion, it has a great atmosphere. Service is what you would expect and never had to look for wait staff. Good quality is great! Rolls to die for and fell in love with the Collard Greens, give me a bucket of the stuff. The corn appetizer is scrumptious! If you are at the Gaylord, try it out!

Yum! Is all I have to say! Our waitress was kind! She was shocked I could not eat my whole stuffed baked potato but it was the size of my head!! Great spot to hang with friends and family. Wonderful for groups.

We stopped in for late dinner after an Opry show, and our server was definitely not thrilled. Several of us shared a meal, and it irritated her more. The live music was great though. And the food was hot and fresh. This was my 3rd resort restaurant to try, and not my favorite. Overpriced for what it is.

Back in the end of August, I stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort for a conference. At the very end of the conference, I came with some coworkers and friends to Jack Daniels, as one last meal all together before we left Nashville. We thought we would have delicious southern/bbq food here and a great experience. We had only one of those things. I will say, even though they just moved into the place, the place was inviting and comfortable. I get that we came the first day since they moved to a new location, but waiting near an hour for food... unacceptable. One of our party had to leave with a to go box and not eat anything while at the restaurant, because she had to make her way to the airport. The food, once it came, wad absolutely delicious! The bbq pulled pork i ordered was so flavorful! Still, the wait was ridiculous!

From Chicago, first night in Nashville and we met a new friend here for dinner. It's a really cool ambiance! Feels like you're in Nashville. I ordered the sliced brisket and fries. It was good, not great. Fries were typical steak fries. I asked what their specialty was, and at the front door they told me to try Jack's honey rolls. It's a tasty roll with a honey butter spread, delicious! The service was good if you like very attentive servers. I would prefer a little less attention and interruption : ) Overall, I would recommend, if you are staying at Opreyland Hotel. I think you can do better in downtown Nashville.

Wow!! This place was great!! Lots of history! Lots to learn about Whiskey and Mr Jack Daniel himself. Book a tour! It's totally worth it! Also the tour is the only way you can drink alcohol here.... Whiskey tasting and Jack & Coke slushes. I didn't have one, but they looked delicious! I did take the tour with the whiskey tasting though. We got to go around the property, tour the distillery, check out the caves, see Jack's office and walk through the whiskey cellar. Floor to ceiling barrels of whiskey. Wow!! Our tour guide was amazing!! She was cute, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable!! The grounds here are beautiful!!! Just walking up to the front doors is beautiful! Even if you don't take a tour, the front area and the museum is cool to walk through. Don't forget to buy your bottles of Jack!!

We chose to go to The Library, which is located within The Old Hickory Steakhouse, simply because we liked the name -- we figured a bar called The Library would be quiet and chill, and it was. All the cocktails had literary names and puns, such as Life of Chai, Gift of a Magi, and Treasure Island. I ordered Fahrenheit 451 (Old Hickory bourbon, raw sugar, Regan's orange bitters, and cherrywood smoke -- they actually set the drink on fire so it would smoke), and my sister had Great Expectations (Zephyr gin, Italicus, lemon, pomegranete, simple syrup, and Zardetto Prosecco). We really enjoyed our drinks, and despite being pricy (drinks ranged from $15 to $18, which, while not cheap, is not higher than most places), we would liked to have stayed for another one, but unfortunately we only had time for one round. The bar is a nice spot to obtain a couple of nightcaps before they close down around 9:30 -- 10 depending on the evening. The bartenders are lovely. The extra dirty gin martinis are very solid especially since they carry Hendricks. They do offer a solid whiskey selection but I did find the pricing for a full measure for many of the allocated bottles to be more than elsewhere. But it is within a resort and there is demand for that if you are inclined. I went for the martinis as that is a good indicator if a bar can nail a standard or one that is extra dirty. I was pleased with that result.
