The food, the vibes, the lighting, drink's & atmosphere were all really a 10/10 Payne, the manager kept coming around checking on us to make sure everything was going well, absolutely professional & kind. Recommend my dad a couple places to visit next time we come back, we are 10000% coming back to see them, we enjoyed EVERY bit of our visit. The restrooms had such a cool vibe & super clean. * My mom ordered the roasted chicken 10/10 *My dad ordered the NY strip steak 10/10 (Medium well, a MUST) * i ordered baby back ribs with potato salad & slaw & wow, amazing. Not often you find yummy BBQ sauce, me & my sister shared this dish & a Caesar salad that was absolutely yummy, too even if it was just a lil too salty for our liking but still a strong 9! Desserts, we had coconut cream pie & the Nutella bread pudding. Although i am not too big on sweets, they tasted real yummmmmy. DRINKS, i mean YUM! My wife and I had planned a special Valentine's dinner and made reservations at Del Frisco's nearly two months in advance. We dine there several times a year and have always appreciated the quality of the food and service, so we were genuinely surprised by what we encountered that evening. When we arrived, more than 20+ guests were crowded into the small lobby waiting for their reservations. After checking in, we were told the wait would be 15-30 minutes. We went to the bar, stood with our drinks, and tried to make the best of it. After 45 minutes, I checked in again and was shown a long list of parties still ahead of us, with no estimated seating time. At that point, knowing our evening would slip away if we continued waiting, we took two open seats at the bar and decided to have dinner there. It wasn't the atmosphere or experience I had envisioned for a special occasion, especially for a high-end meal. Our table was finally called once we were already well into our salads, and we chose to stay put and salvage the rest of our night. While the bartender provided good service and the food was excellent, the overall experience fell far short of what we expect from Del Frisco's. After reflecting on the evening, I've decided we won't be returning, for three reasons: 1. The restaurant knows its seating capacity and reservation volume. On this occasion, it was clear the number of reservations far exceeded what the dining room could reasonably accommodate. 2. Management missed an opportunity to proactively address the situation. Acknowledging the delay, offering a sincere apology, or providing small gestures--such as water, champagne, or light appetizers--would have gone a long way. Instead, I overheard staff placing blame on guests lingering at tables, which didn't create a welcoming atmosphere. 3. Nashville has many excellent steakhouses where I can enjoy a premium meal with attentive service and feel good about the experience from start to finish. As a local patron who has enjoyed Del Frisco's for years, it's disappointing to say this visit has changed my perspective. read more

My company recently rented out the whole restaurant for an event. Overall, everything went wonderfully. Food was delicious, staff was so helpful, especially the managers. We did a buffet which had a little bit of everything on it. I had a filet that was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. Loved the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts on the side. I am always on the hunt for a good steakhouse. I have found it very difficult to the charcoal Fired Angus Riley I cook at home. If I find a comparable steak I consider that place a true steakhouse. One caveat I like my steak Pittsburgh rare. Which require an extremely hot grill and a skilled cook.The steak is charred on the outside and Luke warm in the middle. To be honest I have not found one yet. Until Del Frisco's. The manager came to the table when he saw my steak and tried to take it apologizing for it being burned. I laughed and told him it was perfect. He was relieved and said he had the best cook on the grill that he has ever seen and was surprised to see my steak in that condition. Let's be honest, it is difficult to find a restaurant that cooks a good steak and has decent sides. I was really impressed with Del Frisco's. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, and I'm glad one side came with the meal. I chose the loaded baked potato. It was good but I wish it had had more toppings and less sour cream. The complimentary pretzel bread was a nice addition and went well with the meal. Other pluses were that we were able to make a reservation, and the ambiance was nice. If you're a cocktail or wine enthusiast, you might want to temper your expectations. Food: - Cheesesteak Eggrolls: Everyone seems to rave about these, but for me, they were a bit too rich. However, if you're a fan of cheese and eggrolls, definitely give them a try! - Roasted Wings: These were a win. You can choose wet or dry, and they come with a delicious avocado ranch dip. - Sticky Ribs: Tender and flavorful. My husband declared these the best thing we had all night. - Ahi Tuna Tacos: Crispy shells with a layer of guacamole and topped with chopped tuna and spicy mayo. Good, but they could use a pinch of salt to really pop. We also tried the shaved prime steak sandwich, but by then, I was so full we ended up packing most of it to go. Parking: You get 3 hours of free parking if you park in the garage and grab a validation ticket from the hostess. Just be aware, you'll need to insert both the parking and validation tickets at the exit--not at the pay machine near the elevators. Terrible service. We left after 30 minutes of being seated! What a waste of time and money taking rideshare here expecting a good meal and decent experience since they have the Del Frisco's name. The whole experience was bad from the beginning. We walked in at 4 pm for an Open Table reservation, yet there was no hostess at the front for 5 to 10 minutes. Odd, because there were only a few tables seated throughout the entire restaurant, so its not like they were busy. When we were finally seated, we weren't given drink menus or wine lists, only the food menu. When the server finally stopped by and asked what we want to drink, we even had to ask for a drink menu because she never noticed we didn't have one. Unless you're ordering wine, don't bother with the drink menu as it's basically only a wine list. My wife ordered an amaretto sour and I ordered a glass of cabernet. It took a while but when the amaretto sour came, the wine did not. Instead I was told that they were out of the one I ordered. There was another similar cabernet that cost $1 more. I said ok that's fine, I'll take that. Well, when the wine came, it was a tiny 2 oz pour which literally looked like a sip. I was like wtf is this? This is not a standard pour of wine! The server said that was a fancier blend of wine that came as a 2 oz pour. She asked if I wanted 2 of them and be charged twice as much. No! That doesn't make sense! How is that a solution?! It's not denoted on the menu as being 2 oz, and was just denoted as a glass just like all the other wines! Instead I sent it back and asked for the check. The server said she could take the wine back and remove it from our tab, but she was surprised that now didn't want to eat. We told her that everything was just taking too long. We ended up having dinner at Del Frisco's after stopping by a few places nearby to find that there was either a long wait, or the place was closed. Even though it was a Monday evening, all the restaurants in the area were busy because of some conference that was in town and also because it was spring break. When we walked in, we were greeted immediately and were told that it would be a 30 minute wait. I think we ended up waiting about 20-25 minutes before we were seated. After we sat down in the waiting area, another gentleman asked if we had already been helped so I appreciate the service. Once we were seated at our table, our server came by quickly, but it took awhile for food and drinks to be brought out. I'm sure it was beyond her control, but it was getting to the point where I was about to check on the status of our appetizers because it had been awhile. Youth Serum: cucumber cocktail. I love cucumber drinks and this one was really good and refreshing. Deviled Eggs: I love deviled eggs and I will pretty much order them if I see them on a menu. These were really good, but they weren't necessarily a stand out. I have yet to come across a deviled egg that I haven't liked. Truffled Mac and Cheese: Really tasty and flavorful. The bread crumbs on top gave it a nice crunch. Lemon Dill Salmon: Salmon was really good! The lemon dill flavor was yummy and savory. I loved the asparagus but wish there would have been a few more spears. I believe the salmon was cooked medium and it was great! Crispy skin, but tender on the inside. Even though Del Frisco's wasn't our first choice when we were looking for a place to have dinner, we had a nice time. My siblings and I took my mom here for Mother's Day. Party of 10 totally. Sad to say, mom ended up having to eat from my dad's plate. Steakhouse that couldn't get mom's steak order right. First, the wrong steak was brought to the table. She ordered USDA PRIME BONE-IN RIBEYE. Not sure what cut it was but definitely did not have a bone. Informed the server and a gentleman (presume manager) brought the next steak to table. Mom cuts into steak after he walked away to find it medium rare but she ordered well done. Informed server. Steak brought back by a different gentleman. Mom cuts into steak, this time it's more like medium well, still not well done. Still way too much pink for even someone who doesn't know steak to confuse for well. At this point, she's annoyed that a fine dining steak restaurant can't manage to figure the proper cut of steak and cook to customer's preference. So she declined the offer to order a different menu item. The burgers ordered by a couple of us were requested medium well but were more medium rare. Unlike mom, although not medium well as ordered, they settled for medium rare. My brother ordered CHEESESTEAK EGGROLLS, which according to the menu are shareable. Portion size definitely not shareable. Only pic I thought to take was of the truffle macaroni and cheese with lobster added. It was pretty tasty. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Please do not come here! This was a terrible experience and as we were celebrating a friend's birthday and they completely ruined the whole celebration!! The service is horrendous here and they blame that they were understaffed, but honestly that's not an excuse because they could have allowed less reservations to be booked for the night. We had a table of 12 and they consistently ignored our table. We did not get bread and butter nor the birthday dessert that other tables next to us got. Our dinner took 2.75 hours. My Top Sirloin steak was DEADLY RAW and made me sick. My steak was red and still bleeding. I ordered medium rare and this is what I got (bleeding red in the pictures). When I told the waiter about this, he kindly brought it back to the kitchen to reheat it and it came back still raw. They also overcharged our beer and we had to call them back to fix the price and of course that took 25 minutes and they did not apologize. They made it seem like they were doing us a big favor. So beware of your bill, they charged us more than what was on the menu. The manager Anna was the worst person ever. She cannot be a manager. We called her over to explain how we had a terrible experience here and everything that was wrong. Her response? Excuses excuses excuses. She was not apologetic at all and did not admit to any of the mistakes. She brushed us all and said it wasn't their fault since they're short staffed. She made it a big deal to get our bill adjusted for the overcharge they made with the beer. She did not try to listen to us telling her our concerns and terrible experience and kept saying "well if you let me go take care of it, this would not take so long" meaning she didn't want to let us talk or hear us complain. She did nothing about it. Sorry but that's not any good customer service at all. That manager did not deescalate the issue at all and did not thing about it. We had such a GREAT lunch at Del Frisco's yesterday. Gary in the bar took such excellent care of us. He told me that out of the salads I was considering the kale and brussels sprouts salad was by far the best one and he was so correct! I absolutely loved the combination of roasted almonds, dried cranberries, orange sections, and manchego generously shredded on top of this well-balanced salad. My husband was the real winner with this lunchtime visit. His shaved prime rib sandwich with creamy horseradish and au jus was the most perfectly prepared sandwich we have had at Del Frisco's in months. We visit the one in Tampa back home often and theirs does not compare to the standard set here in Nashville. Well done kitchen team! He had the half sandwich and soup combo and the sweet corn bisque that is a staple on Del Frisco's menu was to run there for, not walk!
