Looks a mess, but was good. Steakhouse Salad
Racquel S.

Service was a little slow. Downtown, so busy & loud. Steak salad was so good though. Will have to try it again, but at the Brentwood location next time.

First off the ambiance was clean and calm. Our waiter Tyler was phenomenal. The manager Payne was kind and came to table a few times to ck on how we were doing. Tyler didn't skip a beat either. The food was nothing short of amazing. Tyler kindly came to our table to let us know they were out of the prime rib. We ot the NY strip 1 lb with crabcake on top with lobster sauce, Brussel Sprouts a filet salad and the divine coconut cream pie that Payne suggested. Our champagne was ice cold too. If I ever came bk to Nashville I'd definitely come bk here. Being a member of Landrys VIP you get perks. This is part of Landrys. Kudos to Del Frisco s. One of thee best Steaks in my lifetime.

Recently had dinner with my wife and her sister. Great service and the food was very good. We came a bit early and had a quiet meal that allowed us to relax and enjoy ourselves. Be sure to take advantage of the validated parking, if you drive here. Which I recommend if you are local and are looking for a great steak.

Filet, mashed potatoes and fried brussel sprouts

My company recently rented out the whole restaurant for an event. Overall, everything went wonderfully. Food was delicious, staff was so helpful, especially the managers. We did a buffet which had a little bit of everything on it. I had a filet that was cooked perfectly and was very flavorful. Loved the mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts on the side. I was told the desserts were very tasty too. The space is beautiful and has a nice big bar area and lots of tables. Overall a really great event.

I am always on the hunt for a good steakhouse. I have found it very difficult to the charcoal Fired Angus Riley I cook at home. If I find a comparable steak I consider that place a true steakhouse. One caveat I like my steak Pittsburgh rare. Which require an extremely hot grill and a skilled cook. The steak is charred on the outside and Luke warm in the middle. To be honest I have not found one yet. Until Del Frisco's. The manager came to the table when he saw my steak and tried to take it apologizing for it being burned. I laughed and told him it was perfect. He was relieved and said he had the best cook on the grill that he has ever seen and was surprised to see my steak in that condition. It was a great steak as was the asparagus. The chocolate martini I ordered was also deliscious. I will return to this Steakhouse.

Filet mignon and loaded bake potato

Let's be honest, it is difficult to find a restaurant that cooks a good steak and has decent sides. I was really impressed with Del Frisco's. Our steaks were cooked perfectly, and I'm glad one side came with the meal. I chose the loaded baked potato. It was good but I wish it had had more toppings and less sour cream. The complimentary pretzel bread was a nice addition and went well with the meal. Other pluses were that we were able to make a reservation, and the ambiance was nice. One thing I wish would chance was the waiter was a little pushy when he continually tried to sell cocktails and appetizers.

Brunch!

Stopped in for an impromptu brunch as it was close by. Great brunch menu all our food came out delicious. Service was outstanding! Attentive but not overbearing. Definitely will come back when in town. Very clean, great music on, very friendly staff!

I've been twice now and both times I have been more than pleased with my orders. The hummus platter is a great dish to share between 4-6 people. Both times I've ordered a Tom Collins as my drink and the first visit was much better than the second. The waiter the second time questioned my drink choice and I've had a better tom Collins. Other than that the food has always been great!

Run, don't walk! The deal included an alcoholic beverage (not pictured) for only $25.00. The serving size was filling, I ended up leaving with food to go. Staff were pleasant and the restaurant was clean and airy.

For our weekly date night, we decided to give Del Frisco's happy hour a go, based on a recommendation from a couple we met at Finch. Here's the breakdown: Drinks: We started with an Old Fashioned and a Malbec. Both were... fine. Nothing special, just average. If you're a cocktail or wine enthusiast, you might want to temper your expectations. Food: - Cheesesteak Eggrolls: Everyone seems to rave about these, but for me, they were a bit too rich. However, if you're a fan of cheese and eggrolls, definitely give them a try! - Roasted Wings: These were a win. You can choose wet or dry, and they come with a delicious avocado ranch dip. - Sticky Ribs: Tender and flavorful. My husband declared these the best thing we had all night. - Ahi Tuna Tacos: Crispy shells with a layer of guacamole and topped with chopped tuna and spicy mayo. Good, but they could use a pinch of salt to really pop. We also tried the shaved prime steak sandwich, but by then, I was so full we ended up packing most of it to go. Parking: You get 3 hours of free parking if you park in the garage and grab a validation ticket from the hostess. Just be aware, you'll need to insert both the parking and validation tickets at the exit--not at the pay machine near the elevators. Overall, a solid spot to check out for happy hour, especially for the food!

Truffled Mac & Cheese

I have to say, I really enjoyed my time here. Went for a friend's birthday celebration and was very happy with everything I ordered. Bird of paradise cocktail: 4.5/5. Nice and fruity. USDA Prime NY strip: 5/5. This steak was perfect! Perfectly cooked to temp, very well seasoned, great cut. Worth it for the price in my opinion. Truffled mac & cheese: 4/5. Solid mac. I like the unique choice of noodle. The truffle flavor didn't come through as much as I'd like, but it was nice and creamy. Breadcrumbs add great texture. Soft lighting and wood creates a nice cozy atmosphere. Random critique, I feel like the chairs were too low for the level of the table. Made it a bit difficult to eat. Overall, I'd love to go back! I've been thinking about that steak ever since I went haha.

First time dining here. Our team chose this spot to have our team dinner while visiting Nashville for a sales meeting. The beautiful restaurant looked like the kind of warm, sophisticated spot we were seeking. The evening started out slow. It took forever to get our drink order in, and it took even longer to get our actual drinks. However, once our drinks landed at our table, things started perking up. Our group ordered a handful of starters for the table. Everything was delicious. Most people at my table ordered steak or fish. I went totally off the grid to try something I had no real idea what to expect - Grilled Celery Root steak with truffles and mushrooms. I know I went out on a limb here, but the gamble paid off! This was delicious. I don't know how to describe the taste. All I can say is it was delicious and I would order it again. All-in-all the evening was good. Although I couldn't see myself coming back here, I did enjoy the evening here.

Very kind, engaging and knowledgeable. I am very much the person, that when I trust the waitperson, I ask them to bring me what they think is great, don't tell me what it is, dealers choice, surprise me. Julianna brought us a fig and prosciutto pizza, followed by a braised pork shoulder pasta dish and a tequila drink (can't remember the name, my wife had an espresso martini) It was so good. We finished with a wine flight, also picked out by julienne. I am sure the entire staff is amazing, but I would highly recommend Julienne and allow her to do her thing!!! 5 stars, two thumbs up, and an A+

It was good and I appreciated the flavors but would try a different starter next time! I really enjoyed the spaghetti. It tasted like summer on a plate - light, fresh, and bursting with bright tomato flavor. The sauce was simple but layered, letting the quality of the ingredients shine. Overall, an enjoyable meal and a space I'd love to come back to try other menu items....I have heard rave reviews about a corn pasta here and I'd like to try sitting in the interior dining section which had a cozy, inviting feel.

For instance, the bread service comes with a candle made of beef tallow which turns into a dip as the wick burns down. The tomahawk is seared table-side with a torch, as is the crème brûlée! And it's a rare place that offers the elusive Chateaubriand steak. They even have four-pound loaded baked potatoes. And that's not to mention Nashville's most expensive dish, their signature $1,800 extravaganza for two including a tomahawk steak and a rare cognac. Harper's is undoubtedly a one-of-a-kind restaurant. The calamari is a highlight, a little salty for my taste but one of the best versions in town. The French onion soup is worth trying, its Havarti and Swiss combination beautifully finishing the top! Knowing the countless steak options were all solid choices, I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried elk for the first time since Harper's offers such exotic choices. And it was pretty good. We got the pork chop medium well bc we like our pork more cooked bc ain't no one trying to get salmonella from undercooked pork. But it was sooo good, has a nice char on the outside, and perfectly seasoned. Additionally, it sits on top of a bed of allegedly "rice" according to our server. But to me, it reminded me of a tendon brisket texture. I would've bet money on it too. But delicious with sweet peach sauce that came with it. For the prime rib, it was a huge cut of meat, but it was lacking flavor, needed some more salt and some rosemary to bring out the meat. The small signage made it a little difficult to find inside the Marriott (see pictures), but from the moment we walked in, heard the live piano player and saw the dining area - we knew this would be a great experience. We started off by sharing orders of Lobster Bisque (see picture) and Burrata with Toast (see pictures). We really enjoyed both of them - the Lobster Bisque was so creamy and smooth and the Burrata was cool, fresh and clean. They were a great combination to start our dinner experience and I would recommend both of them. Since it was a Friday during lent, my wife opted for the BBQ Shrimp Pasta (see picture) and I went with the Daily Fish Special on Blue Corn Grits (see picture). As we always do when we go out, we shared our plates and really enjoyed both of them. The BBQ Shrimp Pasta was rich, buttery and smooth and the Fish Special was a tasty white, flaky and blackened fish served on a bed of rich, creamy blue corn grits. Here again, both are highly recommended. While it is one of your more expensive area stops for dinner, you will appreciate the food quality and presentation at Gannons Nashville for your next special occasion.
