Husband and I, on our question get home, and not having anything to eat for 15 hours or so, made the fatal mistake of stopping at the Jack in the Box in Anderson. DO NOT do it!!! Crack head at the front door, staff was fighting loudly with one another because no one wanted to clean up a water spill. Bellowing employee announces 'hygiene check, time to change your gloves!' And asking the next customer in line 'may I help you?' Then turns her back on her and commences to gossip about mgt to the cook... Dining area was dirty. Area by the soda machine was very dirty. Almost every empty table was dirty. The tables had not been wiped down and had water rings and crumbs all over. Luckily we found two separate tables for our family of 5, that we were able to clean/wipe down ourselves. It was not very busy when we walked in and left. There was plenty of opportunity for the staff to wipe the tables down! Food brought out to us in a reasonable amount of time. HOWEVER, the biggest issue I had was when the young lady brought out our food (on three separate little black trays/baskets), She had one of them stacked ON TOP of our food...specifically on our fries. Who knows where the bottom of those trays have been?!? And now they've touched our food!! Cross contamination city! A food inspector would have a field day in this place! read more

Literally THE SLOWEST drive through in the United States. Shut your car off and save some gas at least. It's only 24 hours at the drive through, so the employees park their car at the entrance door at night, sit in their car and smoke, and take your order with the headphones FROM their car while they are doing it. Jack has been the "go to" fast food option for years, but the store in Anderson can't seem to get an order right to save their souls! 3 times in the last week the food was either tasteless, not what I ordered, made wrong OR ALL 3! Pass them up and go to the Redding location, or some other place that doesn't ask 'How was your service today?' when there wasn't any. read more

Nothing like starting the new year with a messed up fast food order. I understand it's fast food and should be expecting a fuck up but when I said no cheese and you ask me if I want cheese and I say no but still put cheese on my sandwich just wtf. Drive home to be greeted with cheese on my sandwich that I'm going to have to try and peel off but wait it's on the side with ridges so can't just scrape it off like any other sandwich order mess up. My brother and I came in on 12/28/19 and both ordered the same thing. Food was delicious, and wasn't microwaved like some places. When I asked for medium tops to our fountain drinks (they were out), the lady kindly responded, "Oh, I'm so sorry sweeties. Here these have tops." As she offered to switch our medium drinks to larger and not charge extra. A+ service. She called me sweetie and honey and it felt wholesome and neighborly. Excellent customer service. My husband is a truck driver and he went there to find the lobby closed due to COVID. Thinking that he would have to walk through the drive thru (his semi won't fit and he has been turned away several times) or go somewhere else he was concerned until Shelby came out of the store to take his order. 2nd time I've had jack in the box in the last year and both times it's made me physically sick. Both me and my wife had dinner there the other night and we our both in tremendous pain and have spent the whole last day throwing up. Its fhe only food item md and my wife and had together in the last few days so we know where the bad food came from Other that the food poisoning us, the service was really good and actually pretty quick. read more

One of the few options that's open 24 hours. Perhaps it was because I dropped by during at an odd hour (2-3am) so they had to freshly make my order. The tacos were crispy & mini funnel cakes were fresh with a nice sprinkle of powdered sugar. read more

This place has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I came into the drive thru and found that only one car was ahead of me at the order board. My wife and I sat behind this car for almost 8 mins. Then noticed the man in the car yelling and waving his arms at the board. We called the store and asked what was going on. Was told no one was in the drive thru?? We explained that in fact yes two cars where waiting to order. The rude girl on the phone then told me that I needed to get out and tell the man in the car in front of me to pull around. WTF? I did. Once we did order the still rude lady then argued that what was on the burger we order saying " this that burger does not even come with onions on it." In this process lm not sure what was happening at the window , but when we pulled around the man in the car in front of me was screaming and yelling at her and then proceeded to throw his drink at the building. As you can guess we got our burger, drove off to find....Yeah(onions) !!! So we drove back and once more were greeted by the rude lady whole once more argued that there were not onions on that burger. So I took a picture of the burger ( promo burger) so it was huge and in high definition. It clearly has onions...When we got to the window again I attempted to show her the picture and she rudely yelled yeah yeah we are remaking it . I said yes but for your knowledge you should look. She slammed the window in my face! She about 2 mins later returned with my burger and basically proseeced to throw it at me and slammed the window again. Screw this place I will never go back and I urge all of you who read this far to do the same. read more

Stopped by this location after getting gas at the shell. Normally I wouldn't leave a yelp review for a fast food restaurant, but the customer service was outstanding. If I lived in the area this would be my go to jack in the box. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!!! My family and I came in to grab something quick because we are driving up to Oregon and have a long way to go. Let me just say this place is sO filthy!!!!! I didn't immediately notice because I was in a hurry. There was about a dozen flies buzzing around inside. Couldn't even eat comfortably cause they kept trying to land on us and our food!!! I don't even want to imagine what is in the kitchen!!!! The area for the drinks was DIRTY!!! And to top it off as I was eating I found a hair in my chicken sandwich. SERIOUSLY!!!!! HOW DO YOU MESS UP JACK IN THE BOX!!!!!!!!! I'm not one to eat this often because it's so bad but really?????? This is just horrible!!!!!!! This place needs to be visited by the health department ASAP!!!! Maybe I'll just go ahead and send them over! I was so disgusted I couldn't even eat after that. This jack in the Box takes the longest if your going through drive thru than any other place around. Very unhappy with quality of service.

While eating my sandwich I had to continually wave the flies away. Was here at 1:30 pm, after the lunch rush. Tables needed to be cleaned--crumbs and spilled soda attracting the flies. The restaurant just isn't clean and the bathrooms in particular need a deep cleaning. Stained sinks, toilet paper just sitting out-not in the dispenser, toilet paper thrown on the floors. For a restaurant, this was about as bad as it gets. read more
