Service is beyond dismal. It's quite possibly some of the slowest fast food I've encountered. I don't expect much from j n b but here the workers need a full over haul. Witnessed a young cashier come in from break and completely walk past me , and another customer without a greeting or even eye contact. She literally left us there at the counter without a word. After 5 mins she casually strolls back to the counter and without a word or asking if we needed to order, she walked away again. I was without words, simply flabbergasted. Making casual small talk with the lady and child waiting near me I learned quickly that she was deaf and only spoke sign language. I did my best with ASL to inform her that someone would soon be there to help her she was pretty shocked that people walked right by her. Simple rudeness could have caused a major lawsuit. This is customer service rule number one greet your customer and ask them to please hold of you can't take their order. I am disappointed at the egregious level of service this restaurant promotes to not only its customers but to Jack in the box as a whole. I stood there for about 10 minutes without someone coming attending me. Of course, all the employees saw me without care or interest; they proceeded to stand there and do absolutely nothing. It took me very long to finally come around to write this review, but I do have several main points I wanna share with my fellow Yelpers about this location, and I do believe they are all positive. This Jack In The Box is located at a very convenient location, so I do drop by frequently, especially if I am running late and I need a breakfast to go. Recently, I was attracted by the new line of Food Truck sandwich series, and it just so happened that Jack was promoting them with tons of coupon, so I came here several times in the past month. The service I get from here is pretty consistent. I can recognize the same workers in the mornings, but during the weekends, the employees seem to be younger, part-time "teenagers". Well, perhaps your college students. But whoever it may be, they are mostly polite and efficient. Overall, staff is decent at this spot. In fact, I would describe the food as sometimes sloppily put together, but it is fast food after all. I don't have a high standards for fast food. If it tastes all right, you're good. Most of the time, I do get my food within a short time after ordering. Even when it gets busy, 10 minutes is maybe, give or take, the most I wait in general. Whip out my phone and go on some apps for a bit, and food is ready. It's all good. There was one incident that happened about 1 year ago in which I waited for my food for more than 20 minutes. I still dunno what caused the delay, but as one would expect, I was not happy. However, when my food was finally ready, the cashier young man offered me a dessert of my choice at no cost. The thoughtfulness immediately cancelled out any negative emotion that I was feeling. So good job, young man, and I never even got your name. On 8/25/24, a little after midnight, I stopped by Jack in the box on my way home from work. I pulled into the drive-thru and waited for approximately 5 min, and nobody took my order. I decided to drive to the window, and i advised the employee behind the window that I've been waiting for a while. She replied, "ok, so what do you want?" I gave her my order and paid her with my card. When she handed me back my card , she dropped it on the floor and did not apologize. I drive a truck with a 3 inch lift, and I'm in my 60s. I couldn't open the door wide enough for me to get off the truck to get my card. I managed to get it, and I noticed that there were several tacos, fries, and a burger on the floor. I now know why that was. The employees name is Itzel. She decided to take my food hostage because, according to her, she didn't like my attitude. She did not like the fact that I told her I waited for at least 5 min until I drove to the window to place my order, and now she dropped my card on the floor on purpose. I ended up throwing my food in the trash because I feared she tampered with it. I always come to this establishment, and I've never been treated this way. Since I walked in the whole restaurant was filthy, yulissa and daisy were very friendly, they made me feel welcome and had a conversation with me while waiting for my food. The other employees were just standing around talking and using their phone, the store wasn't busy so I don't see why the other employees weren't cleaning. While waiting I decided to use the restroom and the floor was filthy, the toilet was dirty from top to bottom, I wish I would've taken a photo of it before but when I brought it to yulissas and daisys attention, they cleaned it so I was very grateful. Jack's Blazin' chicken was a winner even though it looked as though it had been fried too long or re-fried in that the the batter coating looked very much darker than the image advertised in the window or the menu board, even though I was apprehensive I dug in and it was a delightful experience; the Ghost pepper ranch sauce which I didn't think I would like was actually the perfect compliment to the sandwich with a smokey.. warm undertone rather than a blistering challenge. For a blistering challenge I would recommend the Hella-Peno burger which is part of the Munchie meal menu which includes sliced jalapenos, taco sauce, cheddar jalapeno sauce and stuffed jalapenos... that one was a little too much for me but my fellow Gringos can feel safe with the Blazin' chicken sandwich (I didn't even drink my water til the sandwich was gone and truth is I didn't even really need the water but we are in a drought so I don't want to waste).
