Stopped in for a late lunch with my dad and son, per my son's request. First thing I noted was, unfortunately, soon as we walked in it was freezing cold. Probably about as bad as it was outside, minus the wind, so it wasn't enjoyable to eat inside AT ALL! I wish I could have ordered some hot soup to stay warm. We were greeted as soon as we got to the counter, as a crew member was already there ready to take our order. The food was pretty good, except my dad's top burger bun was cold for some reason. He still ate it! I'm also still a little vexed that they did away with the Chicken Fajita Pita and the closest to that is now the chicken wrap. Which isn't the same unfortunately. Flavor wise, it's a few steps backwards, IMO. My son was also a little upset to see we only got regular fries and he wanted curly. No one asked if we wanted curly or regular and he just assumed it came with his favorite curly fries. So, I had to order another separate side of them! Overall, a good place for a quick stop, but you have to be specific, and definitely don't sit inside if your idea is trying to stay warm and comfortable during a meal! I was just there at store 8493 my receipt is 1107. I gave Samantha 20.00 for my order and all she gave back was .12 cents not 12.00, I told her the error and they went to count the register. They went to give it back but I told them I wanted fresh food because it took more than 15 minutes. They told me to go park but with cursing language, there was no one behind me so I said no I'll wait. They said if I don't move they will call the cops. It was a guy who said this. I didn't move. 3 cops showed up I had to move and I would have a no trespassing order. They keep my food and my 20.00. They messed up horribly and then treated me like this they were laughing at me when I was waiting for the food, but of course the cop show up first this is disrespectful and they should know how to treat customer if they told me the nice way to go park in front. I will do it because I completely understand if they have car behind or something, but this wasn't the case I'm really upset. My kids didn't get the food plus they keep my 20 bucks. read more

Ordered through Door Dash, and will never do so again - entirely Jack in the Box's fault. First, close your freakin' bags with stickers! How is it that every other fast food company in the town has that figured out, except Jack in the Box? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that open bags mean cold food and some less than settling delivery people sticking their hands in the bag. This jack in the box has the rudest customer service that I have ever seen in my life! first when we get up to the window the guy doesn't great us and continues to ignore us and when he hands us our food he doesn't say anything besides "here". And then we got almost all the way home and opened them up to eat them it was NOT what we ordered! We got a number 7 and a number 1 and they messed up our order so bad that we had to go back through and get it made again and the second time was even worse I understand some people would say "that it's just fast food and to just get over it." but if you sign up to do a job you're getting paid to do it write and not be a jerk about it. I tried to show the guy the first order at the window when we went back and he just brushed it off and handed us our remade food and shut the window on us. The first time they made our food the number 7 only had 1 piece of bacon on it and no sauce and only 1 piece of cheese on it. And the number 1 was literally just a bun(the wrong type of bun) and a gross dry looking patty. And when we went back through the second time on the number 7 there was two pieces of cheese thrown on the top patty and the Pattie's looked like they were cut in half and still no sauce. And the number 1 had the same issues. It was just all around the worse experience I've ever had there and normally their customer service is horrible but there's no reason You have to take it out on your customers! This place claims that they are 24 hrs. They proceed to close and put cones in their drive thru whenever they feel. I have shown up on multiple occasions on the same hours and they choose when to be closed. Tonight they were still in the building with cones in the drive thru. We walked up and asked whether or not they were open because they are 24 hrs. They claimed they were not. I have shown up at all hours and they were open. The worst thing a fast food joint can do for their patrons is not to give bad food, it's to give inconsistent food. See, if you give me bad food the first time, and don't fix it, I won't go back. But if I get good food 75 percent of time, and then have a bad experience, I still suck it up and go again, because the next satisfying meal might just be a really good Jumbo Jack away. We get scared that if we completely stop going, we'll miss out on utter bliss in the form of delicious curly fries. However, when you're a fast food chain, you can screw yourself over because if you're inconsistent too many times in a row, in all likelihood, there's another place just like yours down the road a bit. This one is inconsistent. And now it has reached consecutive inconsistencies, which now means it's reached a consistency, in the wrong direction. One more time and I will drop them. If the next time is good, then I grit my teeth and continue the love-hate relationship. Last night, the following occurred: * My order was wrong. They gave us an extra drink and charged us for it. No big deal. Not worth complaining about it. * The curly fries were a large, but they so lightly put them in the box, it might as well have been a small. Worth complaining about, at this point, except, I don't want to be "that guy" so I don't say anything. * The hamburger deluxe had a patty so small it wasn't even as long in size as the taco sauce packet I put on it. It was even less wide. See pic. These weren't big buns... these were like the really small ones you buy at the store. And the burger didn't even come close to filling it out. I've shown up multiple times to either find they're closed or like tonight have vehicles in front of me that are able to order but when I get to the speaker they are closing. Tonight the two cars ahead of me were able to order. When I pulled up I was told that they were closing and wouldn't be able to take my order. For a business that boasts being open 24/7 this location isn't up to par. If you want jack in the box your best bet is to go to the one located in Grand Mound or the one in Chehalis. I've never had an issue when I'm in the area of either store. As they are 5 and 7 miles out of the way the one in Centralia is my go to but no longer. read more

There is a person here named "Lil B" and that she is as she is extremely rude in the drive through! She almost said something rude under her breath, But caught herself last minute I guess. I work with DoorDash and because a customer wanted extra bacon she went into B mode and got rude with me! She was pretty much telling me I couldn't get bacon on a product someone preferred bacon on plus the milkshake she gave me for the customer was disgusting! I got to the front and decided I could afford a small drink so I ordered it it . literally it took every penny that I had to pay for my order. I asked for a couple of ranch and he said they're $.25 a piece and I said I don't get any with my curly fries? He said no I had already spent the rest of my money to get a drink which I would not have gotten if I knew that I would need to buy my ranch because what is curly fries without ranch dipping sauce? Consistently bad service. My churros were missing the sugar seasoning, so it was just deep fried bread. $18 worth of them too. My curly fries ($5 fries..) were cold in the middle but warm on the outside like they didn't finish cooking. Or maybe they sat out for a long time but not under heat lights. The employees are always messing around and making it awkward, like they are talking about customers & laughing in a way that makes me wonder if they're intentionally messing with food of customers they don't like. It's uncomfortable enough that I've never complained about the bad service because I'd be THAT worried they would intentionally do something gross to my food. They just seem to completely not care about service or getting your order right. Which is disappointing because Jack in the Box prices are high compared to other food places and they have some great menu items. Sick of getting disgusting food but still paying high prices. The employees have told me they were out of random things because they didn't want to cook it. It was obvious what was happening because the next morning I went back and ordered it, they had it, so I asked the person if they just got a new shipment since they were out last night about two hours before closing. They said no, we have plenty back there & we were not out. So Jack in the Box, low quality employees are costing you guys $$$. I'd gladly spend my $ here if the service quality was higher. Very bummed. Also the drive through at this location is setup badly. If you drive an SUV or anything bigger then a car, it's a very tight squeeze due to the cement barriers positioning. The staff was very courteous and when I asked about how the smoothies are made the man knew a fair amount and seemed quite happy to share it rather than reluctant. He wasn't sure exactly, of what that white frozen "smoothie mix" was comprised of so he looked it up, both by way of his own curiosity and my inquiry. Again, he clearly was interested in getting me the answer and not at all unhappy in being questioned. Fat free frozen yogurt was the answer. First time ever having Jack in the Box and I was very excited. We went inside to order because the drive thru was way too small. My brother and I ordered 2 #7 meals, a kids meal and my brother got a couple extra sandwiches. Our total was about $31. The fries were nice and hot in the kids meal but our curly fries were old, stale and cold. My nephew is very picky so we had ordered his burger with just ketchup but that was the only thing lacking. My burger was warm, dry and poorly tossed together with way too much sauce on it. I only can eat fries when they are low sodium which also helps with the freshness but them being cold and regularly salted would suggest that it wasn't a priority. There was only 1 other couple inside and they had already been served so it wasn't busy at least inside. When I inquired about some of the menu items all the cashier would say is that items cost more later in the day but wouldn't explain why and was rude. read more

I'm frantic I lost my debit card somewhere.... it was only three dollars and some change.... I have no cash... I'm on the verge of tears... This Jack in the Box is my traditional late-night meal stop between Shelton and my home in Oregon. Needing coffee and a bite to eat, I ordered a Jumbo Jack (no cheese) and a small coffee. Despite being the only customer around (it was 11:00pm), the service was quick and I was back on the road in no time.
