Carne Asada Green Sauce Wet Burrito

Great place, I ordered the wet burrito with carne asada and green sauce. It was amazing. The staff is friendly. The price is very reasonably. I'd say this place is great value. Absolutely delicious. Very clean restaurant as well

I should have taken this picture earlier!

I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves it. One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I have been to in quite some time - and the service was great. We had the chiles rellenos and mole chicken. Both were obviously made with great care. I wanted to lick the mole off the plate. The corn tortillas were freshly made and warm and the horchata was delicious and not overly sweet. We will be back for sure.

Amazing food! Definitely worth trying! If you have a larger party of 8 or more let them know before hand they fill up fast on weekends also it's under one bill for parties 8 or more, and 20% gratitudy goes to the waiter because it's only one person serving and it's family owned with only a few hands for help but they get it done with smiles, taste, and real enjoyment from the food! Try the alambre it's impressive and delicious! The spicy pork's to die for! There is usually only one server and the owner with a cook in the back. patently waiting is worth it!

This is the combination fajita plate

Went here following its Yelp reviews. The menu and the food are amazing. The portions were fairly large, and came to the table hot and fresh. The service was over the top as well. Attentive but not hovering. It's not in the downtown area however well worth the visit. Highly recommend

    Pork on Chile Verde

This pork on chile verde is a real showstopper! Using pork chop with bone is pure genius, resulting in a dish that's both flavorful and tender, with meat that literally falls off the bone. #Amazing and friendly staff. Clean and great decor.

We were in the area just for one day, and had been to my favourite lunchtime cafe, so i left it to husband to search for somewhere for dinner. He chose Taqueria Juquilita. I loved the ambience of the place, which was old-timey, and used to be a grocery store, until 19 years ago. Then it was taken over by the current owners. One of my favourite things about the decor, was the vintage cooler display with windows, which was full of canned and bottled drinks. My picture doesn't show the full width of it, but it ran almost the whole length of the back wall. Very cool (if you'll pardon the pun) I was thrilled to discover that they had Grapefruit Jarritos (and also learned it's pronounced Harritos, not as i had previously been saying it - Jarritos) Our server, was young, highly enthusiastic, and accomodating, even when i asked for my flautas to have ground beef in them, which wasn't a menu item. I rarely get anything other than ground beef, I am terrified when having any other cut of meat, that i will chance upon an errant lump of fat, and i have an absolute pathological hatred of it, so i avoid meat that has fat in noticeable chunks. (please don't even mention brisket, it makes me shudder with horror) Anyway, he took our order, and apogetically came out five minutes later, telling me they weren't having much success at keeping the ground beef inside the flautas, so i told him to do the regular beef. My husband ordered the Alhambra. Out came these two vast plates of food. Now, as you know, i can eat with the best of them, and have a great appetite. I'm not a woman who will fiddle about with a piece of lettuce on a plate and call it good. I eat, I'm a good cook, i like food a lot, and can consume a hefty portion. But this portion was daunting even to me, so i rolled my sleeves up, and attacked it with vigor. It was delicious. ( i managed 2 of the 3 flautas, and all the rice and beans) I am a big fan of well cooked rice and beans, i feel like some Mexican places, just have a big pot of both staples on the go, but without putting any real thought or effort into what it tastes like. The rice was well seasoned, as were the beans, but the beans were some of the nicest I've had because they were a mixture of the liquidized beans, along with some whole beans in there. I was a big fan of those. And the flautas were lovely and crunchy, well filled with savoury meat, and i didn't find any horrible bits of fat. My husband enjoyed most of the Alhambra, which again was enormous, even bigger than my plate. They also had what looked like maybe chicharrones for sale - if that is the name of the hard wheat shapes, that you deep fry (i have some myself, but I'm still not sure what they're called) and some dried chiles and what have you for sale. It was a fun place, and the service was epic, from a really nice staff member. He was very hard working, and i never saw him take a rest. He was sweeping floors, wiping tables - always on the go.

We were on a road trip from Portland to Seattle craving some nachos and found this place on yelp and HOLY MOLE we are so happy we stopped. My wife got the nachos with shredded beef and I got the wet burrito with the mole. Let me just say that all we could say throughout our meal was YUMM YUMM oh my god yum. My wife is from California and said it's the best Mexican food she's had in Washington and IYKYK that's the highest praise. Ok and along with the amazing food was probably the friendliest staff I have ever encountered. This will be a must stop for us when we are passing through from here on out.

    burrito with rojo sauce.

Scratch cooked everything!! So yummy. The tortillas melt in your mouth and the quesadillas don't fit on the plate! So big it's enough to feed two people. The puerto verde is perfectly cooked and the sauce is so delicious.

Homemade tortillas, bomb meat. Some of the best tacos I've ever had.

Best tacos I've had in Washington not gonna lie. All there meats are really good and the service is great

    Lengua taco

Honestly I was really hopeful for this place. The portions for the price are atrocious. If I'm paying over three dollars for a taco it shouldn't look like it's filled with what dropped out of another taco and I only go one tortilla each taco. And the steak plate was 24 dollars and it's 75% vegetables. The steak was overcooked and under seasoned. I feel bad because the girl working the counter was really nice but when I got home and I unpacked the food it low key ruined my day. I can't remember the last time I was this disappointed with a place

I wish I took pictures, I live in Vancouver and met my bestie that lives in Puyallup, to catch up…read moreso I wasn't thinking of food pictures. The restaurant is decorated like you're in someone's home in Mexico, it was so cute! It was very busy when we came in They don't have chips and salsa fyi - this joint is incredibly authentic Not a HUGE menu, but decent amount of choices which right away tells me they do what they do well if the menu isn't 8 pages haha We got quick service, there was one woman seating people, taking orders, and closing checks, and she did it well! My friend and I ordered soup (specifically carne en su jugo), which is my FAVORITE SOUP EVER, and I can't ever find it anywhere, and boy oh boy I will drive the 1.5 hours to get it again and again, it was perfect. They provide maximum of 2 ramekins of pickled carrots (cost if you want more, which were amazing) and 1 ramekin of green salsa (charge if you want more - and it's spicy but so good!) 3 crispy chicken tacos 1 mole with refried beans taquito (not rolled) 1 adobado pork sopa 1 adobado pork taco 2 chorizo tacos 1 hibiscus aqua fresca The restaurant doesn't have any music on, which I always appreciate background noise in general, but my friend and I were talking so much and the place was busy I didn't notice too much We planned on meeting monthly in Centralia and will continue to go here to eat, check it out!!!

Wife and I have been wanting to eat here since moving to the area earlier this year! We've heard…read moreand read so many positive reviews of this place and we finally got the opportunity to eat here! The ambiance is quaint and homely and service was very friendly and welcoming. Honestly, we loved this! But unfortunately, the food was just not edible. It was awful and If I'm being honest, I'll cite this as the worst meal we've had in 2025. The pictures of just the tamales below will speak volumes...and are representational of just how off the mark ALL our food was. Sorry guys, we wanted to love you! Hope it was just an off day for ya...
