I was really excited when I heard about their new Halloween-special milkshake cheekily-named "Witch Please" with Ube flavor and cookies & cream. Those two flavors are not something that in my mind would work well together, but I'm glad to be proven wrong. The milkshake was super thick and creamy, and the flavor profile was just spot on. I could taste the Ube, with a hint of coconut flavor, and with each sip I got the nice texture of cookie crumbs from the cookies and cream portion of the drink. I could also taste a strong vanilla flavor, which worked really well with the Ube. The large size of the milkshake was about $6.75 (as of September 2024), and it clocked in at 1120 cal. Slice of cheese was perhaps a millimeter thick and fit inside the diameter of the patty. Teeny tiny could not even taste it What. A. Scam. Never again. Screw over your customers and you lose them. Avoid this place. Some jack in box are good. This one isn't. I guess they just don't care about having customers. Last place I went that was like this was out of business in a month. My roommate and I decided we wanted Jack in the Box a few nights ago for dinner. He went to pick everything up for the two of us and a guest. When he got back we discovered that the curly fries were missing from my meal. I ate my chicken sandwich and then tried 4 times to call the number on the receipt, as well as look the number up online. Both were the same number and that number is a fax machine. I kept getting the fax noise when I called. So I got in my car and drove the 2 or 3 minutes to the restaurant. I got to the drive-thru at approximately 1:35 a.m. Their website says they are open until 2 a.m. They were closed. I asked them why they would close before what their website says and he said maintenance. I then asked why they included a phone number on their receipt for a phone that no one could call them on. It's a fax. He actually said they do not have a phone there. Which I know is complete and total BS because how do their employees call in sick or call to check their schedules? I explained to him that now I was going to have to call corporation because this is the 2nd time I have been shorted food, I couldn't reach them by phone, and they closed before 2 a.m. This Jack in the Box used to provide good service but in the last year or so it has really gone downhill. I would give them zero stars if I could. The young man who I guess was a manager, was very polite and apologetic but when they are charging $12 with tax for a burger, fries, and soda apologies just aren't enough. Especially when it happens more than once. They need to stay open and do their maintenance after hours and make sure their phone is working. And, stop shorting people's orders. If I could rate this one star or negative one star I would do it in a second. I have ordered from Jack-in-the-Box through door dash about seven times now. The first couple of times the food was literally cold in the middle I let it go because I figured hey it's Covid they're doing their best whatever maybe it'll be better next time. Was I wrong or watt. The second time they forgot my chocolate shake. The third time they delivered in the rain and left the food on my vacant neighbors lot parking lot, so my food was not only cold but it was soaking wet leaking out all over my neighbors driveway. The next four times we've ordered is only because it's the only thing that's open late and I work late hours I am usually off at 11 PM and each time we ask for ranch we get charged for it but it never comes included with the meal. It never comes. Once again I ordered tonight and not only is it called but of course they did not bring me my ranch that I paid for. These people want 15+ dollars an hour to forget a freaking condiment. The workers are incompetent. And the food is disgusting I only eat it because I don't want to starve I refuse to feed my kids Jack in the box. The only time I've ever gotten ranch is when I went into the restaurant ordered sat down realized they didn't give me ranch then walked back up to the counter paid for it and got some. If you can't even put a thing of ranch in my bag which I paid at least $30 for including tip and delivery fee maybe you should think about working somewhere else. Or enroll in a special ed class, because only a handicap person would imply that they deserve $15 an hour to forget peoples stuff. If you jack in the box. Negative one star. I had a coupon for 2 spicy chicken sandwich meals. The photo was amazingly tasty looking. So last night drove through and placed my order. The girl couldn't get the order straight I kept having to correct her. So when I picked up my order I made certain everything was in the bag. I love Jack in the Box, the ultimate cheeseburger is great so I was really looking forward to this chicken sandwich. Well it was horrible!!! This was not chicken! After my fiancé and I pulled up to say what we would like, we asked what kinds of salads there are. After she answered, I asked what is in the Southwest? Then proceeds to joke around with employees in the back and takes a total of 10 minutes for an order to hit my hands. I usually order a munchie meal that is left over everything. I'll start by noting it's fast food guys. It's not perfect by any measure. We all know it's defrosted and deep fried. I haven't ever had a problem with staff and have always enjoyed the short interactions. I was making an order in the drive-through and he rudely told me they have no more milkshakes because he didnt wasn't to add more milk to the machine. And i told him thats fine. Remind me to never eat in at this Jack in the Box The sign on the door says free wi-fi but when I tried to use it I was promoted to enter a password. There is no info posted on how to use the wi-fi. To make matters worse, there were a couple of homeless guys eating inside the restaurant. Nothing wrong with that except they kept moving to different tables & never sat still. I found myself watching them instead if enjoying my food which wasn't that good. The sourdough jack burger & especially the chicken strips were underwhelming. What can I say, this is the West coast McDonalds. Disgusting but the best thing ever while in a cab on the way home from Smugglers Cove Tiki bar. My driver even let me out to relieve pressure off my bladder while in the drive-thru line. What a guy! The food did exactly what I needed it to do though, the grease went to work soaking up all of those different delicious rums in my belly. I pulled into the drive thru just to get an iced tea, since they're having drinks for 1.00 same as mc donalds and i love thier tea. Saw they had a new item, Waffle breakfast sandwich, pictured was an egg and sausage patty between two golden brown toasty waffles yum. So i ordered the tea and sandy and drove it home. I was disappointed with the sandwich, the waffle was limp like a wet noodle, would have been sooo much better if it as toasty crispy. And no it was not limp from being in the bag for 10 minutes, it was not golden brown it had not been cooked. Just defrosted from frozen it seems, Pity. The toasty crispy waffle would have made that sandwich something special. The tea tasted good but i was sad to discover after drinking most of it, i took the lid off to find 2 ants inside the cup. yuck.
