The food was excellent, the grill operators made my order perfectly accurate with the no salt on the fries. The value meal prices are less than McDonald's and I can get breakfast and lunch/dinner all day long. I like J Box in California and had a craving for their low priced tacos. The property looks good on the outside. There was plenty of seating inside but alas they were not allowing customers to sit down in the restaurant. KFC does, why not J Box. I told staff I am a walk in(not everyone drives to restaurants)it was very cold out and want to sit down inside where it's warm and eat tacos. Since its a big corp they said they have to follow orders and wouldn't let me sit down. I said bye and bought a burger elsewhere. Not recommended. read more

Passing through Cottonwood, we spotted Jack in the Box and Carl's Jr. We looked up both menus and agreed Jack in the Box sounded tastier (especially for someone who loves spicy sandwiches - there was a spicy chicken sandwich AND a chipotle burger). My boyfriend went for a standard burger on what looked like Texas Toast, and I went for the Chipotle Burger. VERY TASTY! If you're going for a quick meal, I highly suggest it. Ive been to this spot numerous times, and it does have its problems, but the other day i was pleasantly surprised by the attention paid and the attitude of the staff. I had ordered a spicy chicken meal, curly fries, iced tea and a some jalepeno poppers. Now, one of the aforementioned problems with this location is order time, but I don't mind most times. I'm aware of it, i plan for it, etc. So the food took a bit, but i had my podcast on and didn't mind much. Got the food, pulled away, reached for a fry, OOPS no fries. So i pulled into a parking spot, went inside with my receipt and was met by Jocelyn, who was running another order out the door. She said she would be right back, and when she came back in she immediately asked what she could do for me. I have not had much Jack in the box experience. I've lived in town for about nine years and I've only been here three times. But, I would definitely recommend you skip this place. I came in because of a special I saw on TV. However, the people who worked here told me that special was no longer in effect. I came in about noon which should be a busy time and there were only two other people in here. My shoes stuck to the floor because the floor was not clean and it was very sticky. The napkin holder was out of napkins and the pop machine was very dirty and sticky. I should have left without eating but I didn't. The meal I was served was edible but nothing I would recommend. The place is not clean and I fault the management for this. The counter person who took my money also dished up the french fries without washing her hands or gloving. I am handicapped, with a spinal chord injury, I entered the premise, needing to use the restroom room. It wasn't clearly indicted that it was closed until I reached to door. I then went to the counter and was ignored. I final was able to get an employee's attention. I asked about the restroom and she apirkes and said not open to the public. I became slightly emotional and with my handicap, I had difficulties leaving without having to reach for something to hold on to. The dinning room was taped off and I accidentally tore it. Yesterday's reg sized drink had three pieces of ice in a warm drink. I asked for more ice was told it melted because it's hot outside. The A/C was on in both their building and in my car. I begged. She hands me a cup of ice so I can pour it myself. WTH? She hands me my food and closed window with zero thank you, sorry, nothing. Typical for this location. Being from Wisconsin, where there are no Jack in the Box restaurants, I was looking forward to trying one of their burgers. I had the Sourdough Jack. It was just OK. I also found it somewhat amusing that something on the menu most might think was healthy (Chicken Teriyaki bowl) had more calories than my burger with bacon and cheese. I usually try to be somewhat tolerant of fast food especially when it's after dark but this was a little ridiculous. Came up to the drive through for something quick waited 10 minuets waiting for them to take the car in front of me order which didn't happen, ended up backing out and walking inside to order waited another 15 minuets watching them fill 3 bags for the car in the drive through then a kid who didn't seem to know how to work the register took my order. Then I waited for another 10 minuets for my food to go while drinking a soda from the mostly empty freestyle machine and they ended up having to ask for my receipt back so they could fill my bag.
