Loved it. A well run oiled machine. We sat at the pizza bar. Got there during the rush. Watched guys in the kitchen do thier thing. It was amazing. The communication amongst them was top notch. Super busy and they all remained calm and did it with a smile. Unbelievable work. Management is luck to have these guys. It was 3/14/26 around 1:30 pm The food was incredible. We were instructed to go next door to Strata, where we found picnic tables & a counter where you walk up & order. This "bowling alley scenario" was not the dining experience we were looking for to celebrate my birthday. We went elsewhere & had a lovely dinner. We had come back after taking the Verde Canyon Railroad ride as we wanted some great pizza and the staff recommended Bocce. We had some great pizza. I had the sausage and mushroom gluten-free pizza and it was fabulous. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. The service was on point as well. It's a quaint little place that we visited on our way down from Sedona to Phoenix and we were recommended to stop by Bocce by a local guide! One of the best pizzas I've ever had!!!! We stayed a few nights in downtown cottonwood, so this was walkable. The vibe and set up is super cute. The heaters were on which really kept the area warm. We got a Americano pizza and Quattro pizza. The dough is amazing. The fresh basil gives it such a good taste- I wish there was more basil. It was amazing. We had drinks at the bar for dinner also( old fashioned wasn't as good- need the big cubes), berry mojito was very tasty. Would definetly go back to try more pizza and pasta. Not as good as it gets, the girls at the front desk could use a bit of a customer service training. However, overall the experience was good. First time I stumbled upon this place three month ago and was surprised with a very decent italian food. We came again and were not disappointed. Pesto rigatoni with grilled chicken was a good choice. My son loved chicken alfredo, I was a bit surprised with deep fried chicken, but overall it tasted good. Want a fast and reasonably good food - this is the place. Just don't mind the girl in the front. She knows how to smile, just doesnt use her knowledge. read more

We were driving back from Sedona and wanted to stop at bocce for the pizza we heard was so fantastic. It was a hot day and we walked with our dog for a few blocks, so excited to see a nice outdoor area of tables and a couch, and then another outside area in the front with tables. We asked for a table and the guy at the desk rudely informed me "no Dogs " I mean, Cottonwood is a rural community and I was amazed since they had two nice outside areas. They wouldn't allow a well-behaved dog like we have who is extremely chill.!! And another guy stuck his head out the window where they had outside seating and he barked the same thing at me, no Dogs! Man was this place busy on a Wednesday night. After dining here I can see why. I will need another trip here to sample more. There were a couple of seats at the counter and that was perfect for us - dinner and a show! I had to try the pizza given it's a pizzeria. I had the Cire's which was a delicious combo. It was classic Neapolitan style with the wet middle. I wouldn't have minded a little char on the outer crust to really drive home the taste of Napoli. I know some people don't get this as part of the style or maybe it was just so busy then were turning them out of the wood fired oven quickly. And let me point out how hard and efficient the kitchen crew was working. My wife went with the roasted beet and arugula salad. It was a fabulous combination of flavors. She went with me saying she wasn't hungry and ended up eating most of this shareable salad. All the front of house were attentive and friendly. The manager was obvious on the floor and working alongside his crew. That speaks volumes! This is the kind of place that makes me sad that I don't live closer. read more

Another 5 star meal here. After we spent the day in Sedona we came here for an early dinner. The boys were wiped out from riding bikes all day so deviled eggs and pizza hit the spot. My order was taken down wrong so I wound up being overcharged a bit, but in the end, the food was so good it doesn't matter. And this pizza is even good the next day when you heat it up on the stove. I have only ordered take-out but service is always prompt, Cesar salad and pizza is always fresh and delicious, and love that they have take-out parking right out front! I came into this location with The Things and a companion on December 19th, 2023, after a day of fun in Sedona. This location was recommended to me by my fellow OCA Hannah "Vin Diesel" S. in CO as well as the tour guide we had that day. When driving back to the airbnb, we happened to pass this spot (not intentionally looking for it), and we knew that this was the final sign to actually go in and give them a try. Total $96.03 before tip and fee for paying with CC Bocce Balls There's something about meatballs. Perfect for a versatile, easy meal yet also the perfect star to complete a more involved and homestyle dish. These meatballs are a combination of chicken and sausage and have a rustic taste. This dish is warm, saucy, cheesy as well as tangy. The addition of the garlic bread makes the dish a hearty appetizer. Deviled Eggs An Italian twist on traditional deviled eggs is done by adding basil to the egg yolks and topping them with crumbled and crisp pancetta. These eggs were light and flavorful, and each ingredient used to make this dish to include: fresh basil, parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon juice and pancetta blended together wonderfully (I assume that's what these are made with, this is what could be tasted in the eggs). Aside from the taste, the presentation of these eggs was so creative and certainly deserves a mention (see the attached photos in this review). Edamame These are a great representation of spiced edamame. These edamame seeds are both crunchy and salty. The addition of calabrese peppers to the pods gives the edamame some heat. As a former Siclian resident, I used to buy these types of peppers on a weekly basis to add to my dishes. These peppers are spicy, smokey, and fruity. These mildly fermented peppers are great for adding brightness and heat to various dishes. Meat Pie This pizza had both pepperoni and sopressata on it. It's difficult to find sopressata in most pizzerias in the U.S. For those who haven't had sopressata; soppressata and pepperoni are both types of salami. While soppressata is from Italy, pepperoni is a product of both American and Italian cuisine. soppressata is mainly made of pork parts. Pepperoni, on the other hand, uses a combination of two meat types: pork and beef. Soppressata's overall savory flavor is from dry chili flakes, salt, and assortments of pepper used to season it. In contrast, pepperoni has an overall smokey and spicy flavor, thanks to paprika and other aromatic spices like cloves and peppers. The combination of meats (Italian sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto, and sopressata) gave the pizza a robust and hearty profile. This pizza was a true Italian pizza! Overall, the food here was some of the best Italian cuisine I've had outside of Sicily. If in the area (even if in Phoenix), this place is worth a visit. Mangiare AZ!
