The cashier stole my money ! This is the worst jack-in- the box there is ! The staff is terrible and the manager is just as bad ! I tapped my card to pay for an order of egg rolls I bought 2 which came up to around $4 after I tapped to pay the cashier told me it didn't work so I paid cash he didn't give me a receipt when I got home I got a notification saying they charged me $20 I went into the location the next day and explained the situation the manager was so rude and dismissive and didn't even apologize and said it looks like I paid for someone else's order he even gave me the receipt which showed 2 breakfast meals which was not what I ordered and he most likely just pocketed the cash since there was no transaction for the cash I gave him for the egg rolls he refused to give me a refund and said he would reach out but never did ! Rude service in the drive thru, talking too fast to understand anything they are saying. Get to the window ask for ONE, literally, ONE ranch and she holds out her hand and says .24 cents. It'll cost this business more money to swipe my card for that amount than the amount they make on the sauce. This is a ridiculous business practice. I drove off without my food, too rude and I guarantee the food would have been cold anyway. Reevaluate how you treat your customers and what you charge them for. read more

At 5:30 pm on a Thursday night the wifey and I decided to go to long John silvers for some fish and chips! After spending 30 minutes in traffic and being able to drive about 30 feet (thank you so much rush hour traffic) we saw a Jack in the box. After spending so much time in a traffic nightmare, i actually talked myself into thinking "maybe they gave fish and chips!" Fun fact-they do not, but the cashier was very friendly and even offered to unlock the restrooms if we needed to go! Talk about feeling safe. So I ordered the siracha burger munchies box, and it's no fish n chips it wasn't bad. They also have a Coca Cola freestyle machine, and let me tell you I had fun creating my own drinks. (Insider tip, try the vanilla sprite, you can thank me later) Top off all this fun with the fact that the dining room was entirely empty, it almost felt like they did this for us. Regular Oreo Milkshake Price: $3.49 This is a normal fast food price for a milkshake of this size. I find it fair, but I also had a coupon that knocked a $1.50 off. I wouldn't go out of my way for milkshakes here. Taste: The milkshake tasted like a vanilla milkshake with Oreo crumbles in it. Consistency: I felt like they mistakenly gave me a malt. This milkshake was way too thick and not mixed well at all. I made it all the way home and still couldn't drink it. I had to use a spoon to scoop it out. Nothing can ruin a milkshake more than having to overwork just to drink it. I come to this location most often because it's right around the corner from my office and sometimes you just need a quick meal. The food here is always hot, fresh, and my order has never been wrong. I am consistently served with a smile and a warm greeting at the drive thru window. Honestly, not much else you can ask for! The bonus was the sign on the door that gave you a free medium curly fry with ANY purchase as long as you sent a text message to a specific number. So I got a curly fry and an order of nuggets for next to nothing! Bonus! The place was SUPER clean and I love the little addition of fake flowers on every table. It's the little things, folks, and it really made me grin when i noticed it. The two female employees working the counter were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, talking to us about our football team and the Superbowl that was in town. I give a 1 star because the cashier tonight was actually a nice man. I pulled up at 1:30, noticed the line was not moving. When I pulled up to the window I noticed there was food droppings on the cashiers fingers and on his hands. It made me ask him if he was the only one working, he responded with yes and said "I have to do what I have to do". I understand that. However the higher up are dead wrong for leaving him to work solo at night. This is one of the best locations in Houston so far as taste, food quality and customer service but typically only on WEEKDAY MORNINGS via the drive thru. The weekday AM crew is FANTASTIC (between like 5am - 9am). The rest of the day, evening, weekend crew? Not so much. The only problems I have ever had with food quality, ordered items, terrible customer service etc. have been with these other shifts. However, the manager is highly responsive to issues and quick to correct them if brought to his attention. read more

Second, at the drive thru there's a lot of street noise from San Phillipe and the feeder road. Confirm the order and check it before you drive away. Third, it's a chain. Don't expect innovative or unique offerings, just solid filling food. Finally, the food has been consistently good. With an occasionally amazing item. I'm hooked on the bacon insider. The coffee is usually decent too. The staff have always been polite to me, and try to get it right. It's usually right (which means it's sometimes not perfect). Terrible attitude of the short overweight Hispanic woman at the window who took my payment. She ripped the window open, no mask, and rudely snapped "5.29" at me.
