5 stars for this Jack in the Crack! I know, I know, it's fast food, but this location earned their 5 star rating. This is due to the following factors: *All of the food was made to order - The chicken was hot off the grill *All of the veggies were fresh and good quality *The curly fries were perfection - It was clear that they change the oil in the fryer on a regular basis and make new fries and don't hand out stale ones *Often the soda at a fast food place is flat, near flat or has 3/4 ice in the cup - They had paid attention to the fact that the syrup was full and they put an appropriate amount of ice in the cup *There was a long line in the drive thru during the lunch rush but they moved it along fast and with sincere friendliness and kindness *Li, the cashier who also took my order, was polite, fast and genuinely kind. I didn't have to repeat anything I said. He paid attention. He was happy at his job and had a positive attitude towards me. Eating the Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club was like eating a sandwich at a sit down restaurant except better, compared to most places I've been to in the last year or so. Cane to the drive thru at 6:02am on a Tuesday. Store was closed; lights off, no one appeared to be there. The signs says they open at 6 on Tuesdays so, I was confused. I walked in today and Ara the worker. I believe was her name She was not very kind. She did not acknowledge me and my husband for the longest time and when I asked for help she said she was busy when in fact she was not because I waited for her to finish what she doing before asking. Hadn't eaten at Jack's in quite a while. Wife and I decided to do a delivery and ordered a small, regular beef/bean burrito, a Chicken Taco Salad and two tacos on the side. The wife enjoyed her meal and I was sort of liking my burrito, but it had no flavor. Had to dump lots of Fire Sauce on it. Now the tacos. Total disaster. First off the shells appeared to have been soaked in deep frying oil forever. Between the two tacos, lucky if there was even a teaspoon of meat. Lots of soggy lettuce. I think the fryer oil has overstayed its welcome. I ordered a Classic Buttery Jack combo, I received a medium fry that looked as if it took a bath in expired motor oil. The fact that I received this order tells me that you condone poor-quality food being served to people who are paying their hard-earned money to eat there. I'm not mad, just disappointed. The mini churros looked as if they also took a dip in the motor oil. As someone who used to work at a Jack in the Box, and knows the procedures for changing/transferring fryer oil, I really am saddened that my food arrived like this. Step up your game, man. read more

Just got here and the drive thru is closed but there are employees inside. Its only 11pm on a Friday night. Everytime we come here they either dont accept cash or only accept cash or is closed while employees are inside.. They really need to figure out their computer system so they don't need to shut it down all the time. It seems like every time I try to come through here it's shut down. This place is terrible. I had a very bad experience once before but decided to try it again. After ordering a combo with curly fries I received a combo with normal fries. I told them they gave me the wrong fries After this they replied with "you like curly fries" yes that's why I ordered them. Never, ever, will I visit this location again. We were not the only angry customers either. Came by around 9pm. The only other people in the lobby were a family of 5, and a couple. They had all been waiting before we placed our order. There were maybe 4 cars in the drive thru. IT TOOK FOREVER. We ordered 2 Breakfast Jacks and a Munchie Meal. 30 minutes went by and the 2 groups that had been waiting got their food, we STILL hadn't got ours. The family was so irritated, especially cause they had 3 small kids. We overheard him say he would've just left if he didn't have his hungry family with him. But man, we saw so many cars going through the drive thru. They literally were only focusing on the drive thru and not the people in the lobby. As we continued to wait, another man came in, ordered 6 tacos, and had them within 3 minutes and was out the door. The man even called out one of the employees for just standing around. That was the last straw. My boyfriend asked to speak to a manager - no manager on duty. He requested a refund - they tried to not give him a receipt. No apology. No sense of urgency. We came back the next day to speak to a manager. Watched another customer walk out - he was standing at the ordering area waiting for someone to speak to him - nobody did, so he left. No manager on duty again. I think these employees need a bit of a supervisor as the service is terrible and insanely slow for FAST FOOD. The fun part? We were still craving Jack in The Box, so we drove 5 minutes to the other location down the street and had a fantastically quick and friendly experience. read more

When I am paying SIX dollars for a salad, I expect it to be decent. Half of the salad was brown, wilted lettuce. There was only two pieces of chicken. I recall going for drive-thru at 3 AM-ish, and they were not serving, despite being "24 hours." I've had enough, won't be back. read more

I went there tonight to grab 4 $4.99 burger specials. Lady rings them up, charges me for larges, which I DIDN'T ask for, then informed me they were out of drink carriers. I'm in a manual transmission car with no cup holders and she says "not my problem ". I say just give me my $ back I'll go somewhere else. Oh....she can't do that.....no manager in the building. i work night shift and I came here about 9 PM for some coffee. Little. Did. I. Know. I ordered a small iced mocha and a breakfast Jack without ham. The mocha was disgustingly sweet. It tasted like straight up Hershey's syrup. The cup was 90% ice So I waited for it to melt down and even then it was practically unbearable to choke down. The breakfast Jack was cringe worthy. I took two bites and contemplated throwing it out the window of my car. It had a weird chemically smoky taste and the egg was dryer than my grandma's breast milk about 30 Minutes later I'm driving around at work and this wave of nausea comes over me. You know how you get that feeling like you're going to puke And you think "I should just throw up and get it over with"? That's what was going through my head. This Jack in the Box was absolutely terrible. Their service was very bad... with 3 employees working and at least 1 always on break. Employees speaking profanity outloud. The food was to greasy for any of my party to eat... complete waste of time. Not to mention the tables, not ever wiped or cleaned. Food all over them and the employees sit their and stare at it. There's always a little bit of a wait as it appears they don't cook the food until you order it which I think is ????SMALL MEDIUM OR LARGE?????... Oh, sorry I interrupted myself thinking of them see.. as soon as you start to order in the drive thru the person interrupts you with "SMALL, MEDIUM OR LARGE". It's horrible. What I was saying about the wait is that I think it's great if they don't make the food until you order it. However, they are so quick to jump on the SMALL MEDIUM OR LARGE bit that they miss some of your order. I've got the wrong drinks, I've got food with mayo on it when I've been interrupted during the point when I'm saying "without mayonnaise. Service was ok although it would make since if the register staff spoke better English for the customers sake but not a big deal, she was nice and seemed doing her best. Food could have been prepared better which is normal for fast food in most cases except the burger and fries were barely warm and bacon cold while the egg rolls had to sit and cool down. Cleaning was going on during meal and the woman cleaning could have paid more attention to guests and put things back as she left tables and booths oddly placed requiring adjustment to sit and use. read more

I can't justify rating a fast food joint more than 3 stars. Jack in the box is good for one thing - late night food. When I was working until 2 or 3 in the morning, JITB was my saving grace. The drive through always takes forever which is a bit annoying. Plus it is in an area that isn't really the safest part of town so make sure you keep your windows rolled up and doors locked. I just had the worst experience I have ever had with any fast food drive thru. I was very clear about my order, even when he double checked and I still got it wrong. I was pretty excited to find that this was the only place open in town when I got to Renton. When I arrived the two boys working were in the parking lot. One was sitting on a car and the other on the ground. They told me to roll down my window and proceeded to say "we are on our 10-minute break, you can wait or you can just leave" as they were smoking their cigarettes. This is the only place open so I KINDLY said that I could wait. The kids told me that I needed to park, rather than go in the drive thru. I let them know that I needed to look at the menu so I would be up there. I went in the Drive-Thru and was looking at the menu after about 10 minutes one of the boy's voice came through the microphone and he said "we are taking a ten minute break I need you to park in the parking lot you can't be in the drive thru". I said I was looking at the menu and I was in no hurry. He told me if I wanted to eat there I needed to wait in the parking lot until they're 10 minute break was over. I asked why and informed him that it had been 10 minutes by now which of course he already knew. He says I couldn't wait in the Drive-Thru because his headset would keep making noises. I was very frustrated and I said that I would go ahead and leave so that I did not interrupt their break. Very frustrating that these children had been sitting there smoking cigarettes (smoked 3 each just while I was there) and were unable to complete their job by helping kind customers who were so excited to find an open place to grab a bite to eat after a day of driving. When leaving the boys were very rude. I would be very embarrassed to have these as my employees and I was shocked that they turned customers away. Those kids are getting paid to smoke cigarettes and tell customers to leave. Wow read more
