Pretty good Mexican food! I had their burrito and it was pretty good! I had it with carne asada and it was pretty tasty. There's a decent amount of food wrapped inside the burrito. I was definitely satisfied by the end of it. I decided to get their churros with ice cream and I loved it! The churro was fresh and crispy and sweet. It went so went with the ice cream but went even better with the whip cream! I'd totally get this again next time. The ambiance is good. It's a relaxing place to eat good Mexican food. There's plenty of seating inside and it's decently organized. Parking is decently limited unfortunately so a heads-up on that. The service was good! The employees are nice and they check up on you. I love El Rinconsito! Their food is flavorful, fast and an amazing menu from tacos, burritos, quesadillas, soups and many other choices. I normally go to the Burien location, and I normally order for pickup as well, but this was my first time dining in. Honestly loved this experience, they brought the food to the table, cleaned up done dishes, and even there were napkins on the table for our messy selves! Last night, at 11:40 PM, I went to place an order for a carne asada combo (five tacos). The total was $28.60, and the employee told me to pull up to the window. I waited as the car in front of me was served, and, notably, there were people inside the lobby eating. After all this time, when I reached the window, I was informed they were closed. I asked why my order was taken and why I was made to wait if they were going to close. I felt discriminated against, and I believe my treatment was due to my not being Hispanic. I have visited this restaurant repeatedly, and I have never been treated so poorly. The employee who took my order should be dismissed. From this point forward, I will not spend my money there, and I advise others who are not Hispanic to avoid this restaurant as well. They must implement changes and staff their business with employees who treat all customers with respect. read more

I ordered a Chorizo breakfast burrito and it was about $9 and it was a good size but it was already dripping grease from the foil before I even opened it. Then I realized they cut the burrito in half so even more grease was coming out. It had barely any cheese, a hint of egg mixed in and some under cooked hashbrowns. When i finally tried the burrito it was terrible and grainy and drenched in grease. Idk how they managed to make it this bad but it was terrible. read more

But I remembered that I seen a customer order their burrito chipotle and it looked really good. So, why not and give it a try today. I'm so glad that I ordered the burrito chipotle chicken with a side of their guacamole and sour cream. This was very good and that chipotle sauce over the burrito was delicious too. If you haven't tried this before, please do! I don't want to forget about the friendly service they've provided. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. Even though it was getting busy for the dinner rush, they still kept up with getting the orders out and keeping the lobby clean for the customers. They have some tables and booths seating for you to sit with your family or friends to enjoy your meals there with lovely music playing in the background. For drive through that's open really late, this place is great and convenient. The food isn't as good as something you could get at a stand or sit down restaurant else where but for the price and time they are open it's a great place to go. I have never been to a taco stand/food truck/restaurant where they didn't have carne asada as a default meat option for tacos. Like wtf?? I've come here a couple years now and it's has consistently gotten worse every time and stays expensive. Quality of their tacos have decreased to oily, soggy, and flavorless; it doesn't help they skimp on providing their salsa on the side although you order 4+ tacos you are given 1 small container of salsa unless you continuously ask for it and check the bag before you leave. For the price? You can do better elsewhere and save your money. I would advise trying the Mexican market down the street and order seasoned carne asada steak and make better tacos at home. read more

I've been to a few of the El Riconsito restaurants, and this place is fantastic. It offers great value with fresh, authentic Mexican food, friendly staff, clean premises, and fair prices. Plus, they stay open late! A few locations have been renovated recently, and if you haven't been, I highly recommend it! They have lots of specials bundled with a drink, all under $15.00. For example, the 4-tacos favoritos plate allows up to 6 different meats for the tacos. You can only pick one meat per taco, but it makes for a good dilemma. My wife is always torn on which to order. The soups are very hearty, and they make the corn tortillas from scratch. Each location offers parking (some better than others) and indoor dining. You pay for your food at the register, and they bring it to your table. There's also a drive-thru, which is super convenient. One small ask is that they fix the drive-thru speakers. I prefer the Renton location because you can park a large truck there, whereas the Kent location has tighter parking. Food-wise, it's consistent whether you're in Renton, Kent, or Puyallup. I frequent this location at least a couple times a month and I find it very frustrating that each time I get the exact same order. Which is a burrito; it's a different size every single time. Sometimes it comes in a box with grilled onion and jalapeño sometimes it comes just wrapped. For the price I'm paying. The restaurant is small but very clean. The staff is nice and helpful with the menu. If you dine in they ask for your vaccination info, perfect! The prices are a bit high but the food is delicious. We ordered carne asada mullitas, enchiladas Mexicanas and a side of rice and beans. I will say the bathrooms are a bit scary to use because they're outside in the back and someone has to unlock two doors for you to get to them but otherwise it's a great place to stop or drive thru to get some cravings satisfied. After six years of patronage, I can say Rincon's quality is consistently good, and the menu variety has something for everyone, I'm never disappointed. Recently I've been using the drive-thru, and appreciate the little extras that are included with my meal. Yesterday's order of Enchiladas Verdes w' rice and beans came with a generous serving of pickled vegetables, carrots, radishes and a 1/2 jalapeño. - not shreaded like curtido, but large pieces. It put a cold salad taste to the otherwise hot plate. The To-Go container is a round tin with plastic cover, and the edges of the tin rim fold over the cover to completely seal the meal 360 degrees around the tin. In my case, the soufflé cups of sauce were also sealed and inside the container. Pricing is fair, quantity is generous, quality is good, service is fast... definitely 4 stars ! read more

This week's special deals were chicken enchiladas in a salsa verde or chipotle sauce or 4 tacos and a drink - what a steal, even Taco Bell doesn't offer prices this low! Pickled jalapenos, onions, carrots, radishes, and slaw and a whole bunch of limes and salsa varieties. All of the condiments made the dishes go from a 9 to a 10! I got two of the specials (yes, two entrees) of chicken enchiladas in salsa verde and 4 tacos (carnitas and adobada). The enchiladas were delicious, drenched in a zesty warm sauce and topped with a mountain of fresh lettuce and queso fresco. The rice and beans they were served with were some of the best Mexican sides I had ever had - the beans were so smooth and flavorful and the rice was fluffy and the perfect consistency. The tacos - let's taco bout some tacos. Padded with two fresh corn tortillas, the meat was sizzling, hot and bursting with flavor. To make matters more friggin delicious, the onions and cilantro cut through the meat and added that freshness we all look for in good Mexican food. This place is dangerous cause it's close to where I live and so affordable. It's super juicy and delicious it's my classic order. I also ordered a mulita yesterday it was super filling it had cheese and asada with a grilled jalapeño. Also comes with a free drink. With that being said, I feel like I've finally found a legit Mexican place, after lots of non-California disappointments. My husband had said this place was good and open late, so we went around 1030 PM and got to go orders. We got a beef quesadilla, a carnitas taco, a pastor taco, and their chicken flautas meal, as well as a cabeza burrito. My husband said the cabeza was good but it wasn't great. The quesadilla was made with real Oaxaca cheese, but not enough! My flautas werre very tasty and juicy, and the beans were mild but tasty. The rice was freshly made as well. The beef taco was good, but those carnitas got my heart... usually it's too salty or too oily, but these were perfection! I told my husband that we will be back for those carnitas on everything!! This place is in downtown Kent. Even on their busy day they are pretty quick and friendly. The drive through is fast too. I've stopped by after midnight to fill the belly after a late night and it was very convenient. The food is pretty good, very flavorful. They have an area where you can get salsas and fresh drinks, bottled or fountain drinks. This is a sit yourself place, they will give you a number and they will take the food to your table. You can also order to go. Actually you could call and it'll be ready by the time you get there. That would be a faster service if it's busy or if you're in a hurry. Now parking is a challenge when it's busy, plus it's extremely tight and if your car gets banged you might not know who did it. I actually park at the business next door. Usually they are closed when I go and it's so convenient to park there, plenty of room. Also the bathroom isn't that great. It's super cold because the bathrooms are located outside on the side of the building. Plus sometimes it's not that clean. I wouldn't recommend letting your young ones going by themselves. read more

The flavors are nice and seemingly "authentic" from what I can tell with my limited knowledge of what authentic Mexican is. The serving sizes can be hit or miss, as some days it seems they are heavy handed with portions, and days like today where one of my tacos seems to have had only a spoonful of meat (first world problems, I know‍) Today I found an interesting hair in my food that I pray is from the upper portion of the body, as it's thick and curly similar to the hairs found on the lower portion of the body.
