Service is very friendly but slow. I stopped in after shopping at Qfc. There were only 3 total staff including chefs taking care of take-out orders & customers dining in. I waited 40 minutes for 2 items. There were a few others waiting a while too. I was hoping the wait would be worth it but unfortunately not the case. I ordered an asada torta. The asada was one long untrimmed & unseasoned slab of meat. It was hard to take bites of the sandwich since it was one long piece of meat instead of chopped up. I ended up having to toss 1/4 of the meat because it was either too tough or too fatty. I don't think the meat was seasoned at all. No hint of salt or flavor. The onions were also supposed to be caramelized as shown on the menu description but it was raw diced onions. I do not plan to return anytime soon but wish them well. read more

Heard some great things about this place and had to stop in to try it. Conveniently located in Kent in the same complex as a QFC store, there was adequate parking. I went in on a Monday evening and it was kind of quiet. Seating for around 50 people inside. Very clean dining room and a nice layout for the kitchen. My server also took my order and answered some questions about the menu. I had the wet burrito and it was a monster meal!. Huge portion and absolutely delicious. We ordered a couple burritos to go (carne asada and cali burrito) 2 sopes. The sopes were good but man, the burritos were full of rice. Each bite was just a mouthful of rice. Dissapointed. We have been looking for a great taco place since we recently visited Kent and we just found one and more. TacosLand has breakfast, lunch and dinner including tacos, burritos and plates. We ordered a party platter that came with 30 tacos, nachos, quesadillas, jalapeño poppers and Diablo chicken wings for $90. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The platter was ready right on time. Everything on the platter was fantastic. Fresh and flavorful! The environment is fast casual with a couple of TV's running sports games. Clean and inviting. This place is fire. Coming from California where Mexican food is on every corner, we've found our spot in Washington. We got way too much, but that's ok. Everything we had was delicious. The chipotle crema on the fish tacos was AMAZING! The service was super friendly, they were a bit busy but it came out pretty quick even then. My spouse and I decided to check this place out since we were in the area and needed somewhere good and quick. It's a small establishment that's next to QFC with a decent amount of parking outside the plaza. The ambiance was really nice, clean and minimalist. It doesn't feel overwhelmed, and is an open space. We ordered some beef street tacos and were given some free chips and salsa. The salsa was pretty flavorful and so were the tacos. The staff was really nice. I also ordered a horchata, it was okay. Surprisingly good food. Had their taco plate, horchata and since we dined in salsa and chips were included. The taco plate comes with 3 tacos, rice and beans. The rice was a little on the harder side to me. The tacos also had tomatoes, which was different to me. So they are kind of americanized. But overall, pretty good. The young girl at the register did great handling about 10+ customers walking in at the same time while managing getting orders out to customers. This is such a great little spot. I'm from Florida so finding a taco place in Washington was great! The man who took our order was super kind and bantered with my dad. Some highlights were definitely all the salsas, the refried beans, and the homemade tortillas. The pork carnitas were not as flavorful as I would have preferred but everyone's palate is different. If I lived here, I'd be hitting this place up on the regular. When we were leaving I let the guy know I was taking photos to help update their Yelp and he seemed genuinely grateful. read more

Everything I've tried here is really good. I've eaten the nachos, tacos with the in house made corn tortillas, crunchy tacos, quesa Birria tacos, and jalapeños poppers. You can tell the tortillas chips are fried from the house made corn tortillas. Service is also great. Brought chips and salsa when you dine in. Ambiance is also fine. I've been here about 7-8 times and always had great customer service. If you have questions, they are more than willing to take the time to answer to make sure you are getting what you want. I really love their wings, but I am not very impressed with their street tacos or enchiladas because the meats tend to be quite overcooked and dry. The asada burrito was full of beans, rice and steak. The steak was well seasoned and delicious. The rice was so flavorful and soft. And it came with a side of chips. My husband got the enchilada platter and he said it was great and filling. My husband did not enjoy the shrimp tacos, but I thought they were pretty good. The mole I had high hopes for, but was disappointed as the flavor was lacking. We were waiting so long for TacosLand to open, and we are so excited they finally are. We stopped in on a whim the staff was very friendly and helpful even tho it was right before closing. We decided to try some street tacos. We got Asada/Chorizo/Lengua to go..... #1 The Chorizo. It was the family favorite. It was so juicy and flavorful. #2 The Lengua. It was tender and delicious. We all decided it deserved the number 2 spot. I have had this before even tho tho rest of the fam hadn't. They all still loved it after knowing what is was. Lol. #3 The Asada. I got the street tacos. One asada and one chicken. Dined in and you get chips and salsa complimentary so that was a surprise! The chicken taco was good and the green sauce they give with it was very flavorful. The asada was a little too dry and fatty for my taste.
