I don't.like to give bad reviews, but this place is horrible. Ya the food comes out pretty much like any other jack in the box but the customer service is bad. Went through the drive thru 2 weeks ago and they forgot 2 orders of tacos. Went to get them next day with receipt as asked after i called, and they gave so much attitude. Went though drive through today February 22nd, and yet again, forgot the burger to the meal. To inconsistent and not being able to give the food you pay for when you pay for it. I definetly will not give this establishment another go. Miss Flores instead of being rude and rolling your eyes, try and treat people with respect. She did tell me that there was sweet and sour sauce in the bag, and I made the mistake of not checking for myself. Ever since COVID, Inflation, staffing shortages blah blah blah.....I've noticed the prices here have been creeping up significantly.... So I conducted my own experiment. I ordered a large sized 3-taco combo with a Diet Coke, from this location. Two days later, I ordered the same combo from the one near my work. (2404 Market Street) and the one on market street was $3 dollars less!!!!! I called the customer service number and they could care less. They rudely informed me the franchise owners can set their own prices. Well, I told them if I was in charge of franchises, I'd want to know if one of them was greedy and over charging customers. I told the lady I have 4 children and why would I pay $15 extra dollars for the meals.....she rudely sighed and just kept repeating "maybe you should just go to the cheaper location".... Really??? Disappointing meal-- I ordered from DoorDash for breakfast this morning. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a cup of coffee. I must say it was awful. The packaging was just abominable. They had so much tape on the cup of coffee and it took me five minutes to get into it to put my cream and sugar into the cup, and then the cup with sticky because they had used big packing tape on it. Perfectly functional Jack in the Box location with all the essentials! The parking lot has seen some wear-and-tear, so it can take some artful driving if the drive-thru line gets long. The wait can also be tedious if the drive-thru line is particularly busy, but a Buttery Jack tends to be worth the wait. I've visited for both breakfast and lunch menus with no issues -- food is accurate and tasty. " Very Clean Jack In The Box " I went to the Jack in the Box in La Mesa for a breakfast meal and had a great experience. All of the employees that helped me were very nice. I don't like fast food as a general rule and hadn't gone to a Jack in the Box for well over a year but my husband wanted to stop here today so we did. I got the Sirloin Burger which did have a much larger portion of beef and was better than the usual JB burger but not worth going out of my way for, fries were same as always. The real winner was the Cherry Chip Shake with whipped cream on top--very delicious, creamy. just the right amount of cherry flavor and especially refreshing on this unusually hot February day! I've had an employee forget to give me half of my order and when I got home and realized, I called and not only did she blame me, but also didn't offer an apology or any compensation for my time. I've had issues with the fries being old and cold. I've submitted several customer survey reviews requesting to be contacted back and I never have been.
