It's yet another fast food burger place. The menu is all over the place trying to appeal to everyone while not really pleasing anyone. The food is ok. It's unoffensive, doesn't try hard, and manages to just be mediocre. The service is "fine." They know who they are and where they're at. They aren't trying for greatness because there's no reason to. The interior is cold and drab. Nobody stays inside to eat because they want to be there. It's just a stop along the road to get somewhere better. The prices are crazy compared to what you get but that's not the point. You're just getting calories in your mouth because you have no time to actually sit and enjoy a meal and so that's what you get. read more

I was having an amazing streak with ordering online and picking up but today I experienced an order disappearing yet I had the proof and order number available I was way past the pick up time because of the long drive through line and I didn't appreciate the employee telling me that with my proof means nothing...I had an order number at this location so she went ahead and had it made yet kept telling me they didn't receive it. I've never been inside this location, but the drive thru has never failed me. Yes, there's a wait for your food sometimes, but the workers are always polite/nice. The burgers, tacos and drinks are always fresh or as fresh as you can get with fast food. My only issue is the fries. I don't think I've ever gotten hot or fresh fries here. Maybe Jacks fries just aren't good, but everything else is decent. Overall service here is good, compared to other Lathrop fast foods. read more

This jack in the box is a real hit or miss. The food is exceptionally good but they seem to have trouble getting our order right seeing as how we're always missing something. The wait times can get a little long when it gets busy in the drive thru and restaurant. The establishment itself seems moderately clean from the several times that I've been there and the workers have never given me any attitude or treated me with disrespect. Every time I go, the young man with a turban is rude and disrespectful. I asked for ranch and he ignored me and slammed the window in my face. After that, I never came back to this Jack-in-the-Box. I placed a mobile order and picked it up today. On the app, flavors are not an option but since they use freestyle machines, having them change it to a cherry coke zero at the window has never been a problem. I asked at the window and the girl said "of course!". I pulled up and they forgot my second drink so I asked for it and the lady left before i could specify it was a cherry coke zero. When she came back and I asked her, she walked back to the machine and said out loud "you have to put it in the app" and dumped a little out and put a little cherry coke back in the cup. When she came back, I tried telling her the app doesn't list it as an option and that i asked at the speaker. She gave me the drink and SLAMMED THE WINDOW CLOSED IN MY FACE. My son was craving some late night fast food so we decided to go to this location to satisfy his craving. Of course when you pull up there's about seven cars in front of us so we knew it was gonna be a little bit of a wait before we ordered and received his food. This was not a big deal because it was literally midnight so that's to be expected with everyone's late night cravings. We ordered the number seven which is chicken nuggets and regular fries and a Fanta drink. We also got jalapeño poppers and the spicy chicken sandwich with curly fries and a Powerade. It did take us about 25 minutes to get to the line but again it was very busy and late at night so of course this would be the case. We did notice that they put the wrong fries in my bag but they corrected that by giving us two extra fries which was nice. read more

I have been here dozens of times. Today I went for lunch via the drive through. While the tacos may seem like a great deal, today they were way over fried. Crispy and a medium dark brown color. Almost inedible. I also ordered onion rings. All breading that was over fried and virtually no actual onion inside some and nothing in others. A total waste of money. I have a Love-Hate relationship with Jack in the Box. When everything goes right, i swear I could go back every day. When everything goes wrong, I swear I'll never go back. I decided not to do drive-thru and went indoors. It took a while for someone to come to the counter. (I looked for the automated ordering machine, but they didn't have one. They're particularly good in a number of JiTB locations where the staff is less than responsive.) A woman came up front and was friendly. I ordered 10 tacos (2 for $0.99), and some ranch sauce. The person at the register got the order right, put out the ranch sauce, and I waited and waited. I guess it wasn't that bad, but I should have timed it. There was some commotion in Spanish, and the manager came up front, and looked upset. Then, she started to put away the ranch sauce. I mentioned that it was part of my order. The woman who took the order was standing next to the person making the tacos. There only seemed to be one person preparing food. I guess I should remember that Jack in the Box is always slow. I got what I wanted, and it wasn't the worst experience I've had at JiTB but still. It wasn't great, and when I ate one of the tacos, it wasn't cold. Odd that the food wasn't any colder than when I eat their food in the dining room. It must have been really hot when they gave it to me. read more

We just moved here, and have been here 4 times and of the 4 times we have gone thru the drive thru they have shortened us food or got it wrong, completely wrong.
