    a colorful food truck

Dropped by Tacos Limonense passing through town and I had the pleasure of enjoying carnitas and Al pastor tacos. The tortillas were perfectly heated with a nice crisp on the outside. The carnitas tacos were juicy and slightly crunchy on the outside. Although the picture on the truck showed the Al pastor on a vertical grill I don't think thats a fair representation and that perhaps their Al pastor just seasoned and chopped pork grilled on the flat top - kind of good but not really authentic. All in all, it's a good taco truck that should not be missed!

I found Tacos Limonense parked next to the Manteca Public Library. A cash only operation, it limited me from buying my usual array of dishes and thus making it harder to grade. I had a carnitas burrito. It was dense, loaded with meat, rice and beans. It had a little zing to it besides the cilantro. Perhaps I should've ordered the Supreme and gotten a little more (onions, crema, etc). So that leaves me at a personal score of 3.5 stars. I need to go back with a little more scratch and sample further. I can then award the extra half for a four star rating.

Great flavor! The truck is there 7 days a week from 10:30 am to 8 pm ish:) I had 2 veggie tacos, a veggie huarache and an aqua fresca (Jamaica) For the veggies they do rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, radish and tomatoes. They also will add crema but I leave that off. They all had a green sauce that had a little spice but it was delicious. They also gave me grilled onions on the side. Love that! The Jamaica was delicious as well. There is street parking and they put out some tables and chairs. They were also at a city park so more benches available. All came to $10.50. Very good price and quick service. Thank you ladies

Not a birria taco like there picture on menu nor the flavors you expect... just roast in a tortilla....
    Gary W.

Saw pics of the birria tacos so I had to go and try as it looked like they prepare them like El Azteca and the famous Birraiarria San Marco in Los Angeles.... Unfortunately I was wrong nothing like the picture.. plain tortilla not fried in birria oil like picture on there menu and the meat was just like a plain old roast nothing special no seasoning none of that chili and clove flavor you expect.... Maybe try something else next time but if I want a normal asada taco im going over to acosta's.

So absolutely delicious!!!!! Best Mexican food in town hands down!!! Food is so delicious, so fresh and so hot (as it should be) Great prices and super tasty!

I'm iffy about this place, I come all the time the food was perfect when I first started going past month or two I've been getting tacos with mixed meat, some meat seems old some is fresh and is not tasting good. Please fix this & throw out food once it gets to hard. It's starting to happen to me more frequently, first couple times I ignored it but don't want to waste my money anymore.

I eat at this truck at least once a week. Food is always delicious and consistent. I take everyone I can to this truck or bring them food from it. If your from Stockton, this truck is like something a mix of a North side and crow valley taco truck, just a lot cleaner.

My delicious carne asada tacos! Definitely a must try!

Good tacos are so hard to find, but these are probably the best I've had in the area! Super friendly service and great food. I've had their al pastor, asada and birria and I've liked all the meats so far! I could probably eat there everyday. Finally a good taco truck nearby and I don't have to drive to Oakland

Super burrito it's all tortilla no filling!

Hard to rate this because I really love there food tacos are delish and super burrito are awesome but only when the guys are making it. Unfortunately every time the gal is cooking the super burrito are so dry and small it's all tortillas it's like she does a baby burrito instead extremely frustrating! Please train her properly! This is from today.

I'm so surprised this place is not more busier than it was. But I hope if you're ever in the area you're able to check this out. Inside is a quaint little dining area with a bar type eating section that may or may not be used. It's separated by the walking path from the door to the cashier making it seem isolated without being isolated. Ordering was like any other taqueria, walk to the register and place your order. Reading the register screen the order was correct, two super burritos and two super fries. Roughly $40. It took about 10 minutes for the food to be ready and the employee was nice enough to bring it to thw table we were sitting at. When we arrive home and unpacked the items, I had to ask what we ordered. We had three containers, two we could only figured were burritos bowls, and the other was super fries. So, not only were we missing part of the order, we got something completely different. Luckily, a few people don't eat a lot and were able to share these meals. The super fries were large enough for two people to easily share. There was plenty of toppings to the point you couldn't see the fries, something, I personally like. However, the first bite into the fries were a undercooked frozen oven potato texture. Thinking it was just a frie that got stuck to another in the fryer, it happens. The second bite we cold, like refrigerator, cold. Digging around under the toppings to expose the fries that looked like they were microwaved instead of deep fried. There was no crispy crunch, or signs of a crispy tips. The potatoes were very easil to smash and had the frozen potatoes oder still. Needless to say, these could not be consumed. The super burritos, beside the fact they were not in a tortilla or in a burritos shape. AKA super burrito bowl, had no complaints from those that had to share. Will not be returning

The sign said Taquizas so that's what we'll go with for now (though the trailer did say Magda's tacos or Tacos Magda). I ordered 3 tacos (asada, pastor, Chicken), a quesabirria and a horchata. Pastor had some nice char and was relatively tender. My favorite Al Pastor tacos pretty much always have some form/taste of pineapple but theirs to me just doesn't have it. Maybe it was drowned out by the salsa? The asada was fairly standard, nothing to write home about. Not especially tender or tough. Tad dry though. Of the regular tacos, the chicken was the most standoutish. Very moist and tender. On the negative though, it was VERY salty to the point where I almost didn't finish it. The quesabirria had some positives and negatives too. The tortilla was nicely done with just the right amount of crisp. The meat itself was a tad tough and dry though. And this is possibly the first time that I had a quesabirria that didn't come with consommé for dipping. Quesabirria just doesn't hit the same without it. And with quesabirria I also prefer that green salsa already inside it as opposed to putting it on after the fact. They had a table with all of the condiments and toppings like salsa and onions. I was more than happy to do it myself for the regular tacos. The horchata was so grainy and not refreshing at all. Not super sweet either so I guess that's a plus. Don't know how horchata is made; is it blended because if so it definitely needed to be blended even more. Or is it strained out? I don't know. The person who took my order was very pleasant though. They also got my food out pretty quickly. I don't think I could give them more than a 3/5 and that's a little generous.
