I'm made a on line order the money was taken from my bank. It didn't look like the transaction was going through so I checked my bank account. The money was pending and taken out. I called and they said they didn't see it. She said give it five minutes. In ten minutes the situation was the same. I drove up there. While the manager on duty did nothing to help but agitate me the other worker Mark offered to pay for a combo for me. I didn't want something different so I declined. Although he did show a little attitude at the end I did appreciate him offering to compensate me. The manager asked me if I got a confirmation number. I told her no. She told me I should have. She was extremely rude. And I guess buying herself food on other peoples cards if it happened to us it's happened to others I suggest everyone checks that's not petty theft it is major. This place has an average of 3.5 stars, so I'm not trying to skew that too much. I can't really review the food here, since I didn't wait to order. I tried to order lunch here today, and I went inside--so I didn't have to hold up the drive thru while deciding. I had a lot of time to check out the whole menu, and make up my mind. No one came to the counter. No one said "We'll be with you in a minute." No one looked our way (a few others got in line behind me.) I waited, as those taking care of drive thru orders moved around in the back. No one appeared to be working the front counter. I started to wonder if this was a drive thru only store. Someone came to the front after mopping the lobby, but they weren't on a register. I exchanged a glance at the woman behind me, shrugged, and said, "I'm not up for this," and left. Ordering from here was worse experience ever. The girl taking orders in drive thru couldn't get our simple order correct. She then raised her voice at us. when we said don't yell at us she got her manager to do so. we asked for a small vanilla shake. She didn't have a problem with that but when we asked for a medium chocolate shake she couldn't do it. we gave our order to her 3 times. And not once did she say they don't have small or medium. only regular and large. She could have just said that. No need for her to yell at 2 63 year old people. And when we said forget it we don't want anything the manager came out the back door threatening us. The only reason anyone goes to that Jack in the box is because there isn't any others in the area. ZERO STARS. This place is the absolute worst there is! Waited in the drive thru 30 minutes. They said they were understaffed, I was okay. When I get my order at the window, I get the wrong burger! I wanted to give a review for the fabulous staff at this Jack in the Box. They have a young man named Jared who is AMAZEBALLS. Jared is an employers dream. He is always friendly no matter how busy the Restaurant is. He takes the time to read your order back to you, especially in f it was placed through the App which is how we place our orders. There are other good employees at this location, but Jared's consistent service deserves to be recognized. Last week we ordered breakfast and there was a mixup and we received an item that wasn't ours. I sent their Store an email just to let them know because it had happened a couple of other times. It wasn't to complain, just to let them know so if they had new staff they could give them additional training if needed. I had a Mgmt member reach out to me several times because I was missing her calls due to being sick with Bronchitis. It's so encouraging to see that Mgmt cared enough to make sure she was able to talk to me and to offer to replace the items we were missing. Again, we weren't concerned about replacements. I had just wanted to give them a heads up so they could help their staff. One of the reasons why I'm glad to be back in the north Carrollton/Lewisville area is because of this Jack in the Box. Please note that I did NOT move back up here for a fast food restaurant. But it was a lightbulb moment when I realized I could come to this JitB again! They've never once messed up any of my crazy ass orders and now the drive thru is 24 hrs every day! Delicious thing to try: chocolate milkshake with coffee syrup added. Yum. They don't have the coffee syrup all the time, but when they do, I go out of my way to swing by and grab a shake on a fairly regular basis. This is the third time that I drive through the drive thru around the same time which is around 10:30 PM and they say that the system is down that they can't take any new orders. It's the first Jack in the Box and the only one that I have gone to that experiences that issue around the same time, three times. It is ridiculous, and even worst they don't turn off the drive thru lights, they're on which make you think they're functioning. Employee at the drive through window was not very well trained and definitely not professional at all. I ordered a couple of shakes with my food order. One was strawberry and the other vanilla. I could see the employee making the shakes and the strawberry was correct. The vanilla started correctly and the he added chocolate syrup to make it a chocolate shake. when he came back and opened the window i took the strawberry and told him the other was supposed to be a vanilla. He proceeded to tell me they were out of vanilla and to just take the chocolate. I told him that you use the vanilla ice cream to start the chocolate shake just don't add the chocolate syrup. He continued to tell me they were out of vanilla and to just take the chocolate. I explained again how to make the vanilla shake and he got mad said fine yelled at me to pull up and slammed the window. I hollered that i wanted the manager and the kid walked away throwing the chocolate shake away. Another employee told another gentleman that i wanted the manager. He asked how he could help me, i explained what had taken place and he made the vanilla shake with no issue. The kid never handed me my food order, straws, or napkins. My receipt says the employees name logged into the register was James. If James was the kid he needs to be retrained and taught how to be respectful and professional to customers. This was my first visit to this location but i will not return to it after the sad quality of service I received. read more
