We were in the neighborhood and thought we would give it a try. We are always looking for a good taco place while we are out and about. It's hard to see because it is in the gas station, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had many of the tacos, Pollo, Carne asada, lengua, and carnitas. The servings were very generous and the flavor was very good. Almost as good as my wife's home-cooked, almost. The only thing that kept the review from being 5 stars was the cleanliness of thepp eating area. The tables we very dirty. We will definitely be eating here again when we are in the area. read more

Food and service is excellent! Working on this side of town for a few weeks and have been here almost every day. Tacos, Cubana, Quesadilla, Hamburguesa, Burrito, and my fav is the Pambazo. They serve Menudo all days of the week but you may have to wait for it. That part doesn't matter to me because hey, I know it's at least an option. It's located inside the Valero gas station. The prices here are reasonable. I got my wife a breakfast taco plate for $7.50 and my menudo for $10. I'm happy & will be returning. There isn't a huge wait but then again I was here at 9am on a Saturday ha so everyone is probably still asleep. Love this real taqueria. Inside a gas station but really great. They ran out of Gorditas today ...bummer but when they are good they go super fast. Always busy. 5/5 Gorditas, Sopes and taco plate. 5/5 Fajita beef 3 taco plate. Plump and moist. Squeeze of lime dripping off the onions and cilantro. Splash a little salsa verde and bam!!! Soo great. I let this place feed me dinner a week straight at one point, more than once. Their food is so consistent and seasoned. They have the good Mexican sour cream. The creamy salsa. And their beans and rice are actually seasoned. Tacos are off the hook.! read more

Took my dad here because he loves menudo. Service is very friendly, but English is definitely second language. I like that cause Puedo practico mi español (don't correct me lol). We ordered one pork tamale and a bowl of menudo. They definitely fill the big bowl up, flavor was decent per my dad. It could have used some spice. He said major points lost for not having any hominy in the menudo. They do give you plenty of tortillas for dipping though. I tried to tamale, it falls apart. Full of meat, could use more masa. Flavor is great, and I could eat a tub of the masa it's so good I'd recommend out of town-ers to come try this gas station Mexican stop. Very authentic, love it. read more

The place doesn't look like much from the outside and is attached to a gas station. But most of the hidden gems are! The good is GREAT! We had made to order egg and potato tacos that were piping hot and the jalapeño taco sauce was awesome. The woman who was running the place was super friendly and knew the locals who were in there eating who also were loving their food. First time trying this place and I've driven by it plenty of times but never went in until last night. My fiance and I were debating on what tacos to get and the owner, Samuel, came up to the counter and started chatting with us on what to eat. He explained how he cut and marinates all the meat himself so flavor is always the same. They also make tamales (one of my favorites!!) He let us try the pork tamale and i must say, it was delicious. It's stuffed with the right amount of pork and it was also juicy. Sometimes tamales are too dry and you have to eat it with salsa and lime but these tamales does not require that at all. We ordered Lengua, carnitas, pastor, and asada tacos. They had so much flavor. Adding their homemade salsa took it to the next level of deliciousness. I'm definitely coming back for more and would highly recommend anyone who reads this post to try it. read more

So glad for Yelpers who pointed me to this little gem inside a gas station. I got the tacos with a side of Spanish rice and beans. The pork tacos were really delicious! The meat was well marinated and flavorful. The chicken taco was good too, but I liked the pork better. It came with a green and red sauce. I didn't care much for the verde, but the red sauce definitely packed some heat. I also ate the char grilled jalapeños that came with the tacos, though I'm glad I didn't eat both! They were definitely spicy. The Spanish rice and beans were just right and hit the spot. True comfort food, all for $7.50! Definitely going back. read more

This is a food stall in a gas station convenience store, but they do have ample indoor seating. The chips we ordered came out hot and fresh and the salsa was great! Today I went to this place inside the gas station in lewisville, the person cooking was not wearing a mask, or using gloves to cook, she was the only person there, taking the cash at the same time that she was cooking, she was not washing the hands or doing anything, I still paid for the tacos, because I feel bad cancelling the order, but I did not eat them, not coming back ever. read more

This place is pretty good! There is a place in Denton of the same name that I haven't tried but friends say it is pretty good. Their menu is pretty simple and short. I got a taco plate with fajita and pastor tacos. They are pretty good, I must say! They give u a jalapeño and small half-potato with your plate. And two lime slices. The rice, however wasn't so great. Next time I probably would not get the rice. It was pretty bland and not good. I got double rice instead of beans so I do not know how the beans taste. The salsas were good, I've tasted better. The green sauce was not really green tomato, but jalapeño? Very spicy. Overall it was good, I would probably just get individual tacos next time if I get tacos. read more

I love this place! My husband is allergic to cheese and sour cream, so I don't usually get much Mexican (or Italian) food. I urged him to give this place a try with me. So glad we did! The homemade guacamole was perfect! We both got street tacos and they were great too! The people that run the restaurant are very nice and the facility is clean.
