Im not one to write many reviews but after being in Dallas for the past 4 weeks and looking for a taco place that hits close to home was hard after three failed attempts at different restaurants this was gonna be the last place I tried and let me tell you the service was excellent very helpful and let me tell you the tacos are good especially with the green sauce comes with a chile when in other places they make you pay for it and the pambazo was to die for all around 10/10 give this place a try this isnt even paid review or anything im from the Georgetown area and I'm just glad I found a spot I know I can come to and not get disappointed

We were in the neighborhood and thought we would give it a try. We are always looking for a good taco place while we are out and about. It's hard to see because it is in the gas station, but we were pleasantly surprised. We had many of the tacos, Pollo, Carne asada, lengua, and carnitas. The servings were very generous and the flavor was very good. Almost as good as my wife's home-cooked, almost. The only thing that kept the review from being 5 stars was the cleanliness of thepp eating area. The tables we very dirty. We will definitely be eating here again when we are in the area.

For $7.50 I'm having a taco, sope, and gordita, handmade. Good stuff. This place gets crazy busy at lunch, but they knock it all out in a flash.

They serve Menudo all days of the week but you may have to wait for it. That part doesn't matter to me because hey, I know it's at least an option. It's located inside the Valero gas station. The prices here are reasonable. I got my wife a breakfast taco plate for $7.50 and my menudo for $10. I'm happy & will be returning. There isn't a huge wait but then again I was here at 9am on a Saturday ha so everyone is probably still asleep. But I look forward to coming more often & trying their tortas & gorditas because they look good! Xo.

I want to give a shout out to fellow yelpers! Manda C. thanks to you I found this place way back when I did. To Paige, the ultimate lover of great Mexican food... this taco is for you my man! Love this real taqueria. Inside a gas station but really great. They ran out of Gorditas today ...bummer but when they are good they go super fast. Always busy. 5/5 Gorditas, Sopes and taco plate. 5/5 Fajita beef 3 taco plate. Plump and moist. Squeeze of lime dripping off the onions and cilantro. Splash a little salsa verde and bam!!! Soo great. Love the rice and beans. Both are homemade with the touch of highly trained master. The grilled Jalapeño is the icing on it all. Love this place. Cheers.

    Mostly eaten pork tamale

Took my dad here because he loves menudo. Service is very friendly, but English is definitely second language. I like that cause Puedo practico mi español (don't correct me lol). We ordered one pork tamale and a bowl of menudo. They definitely fill the big bowl up, flavor was decent per my dad. It could have used some spice. He said major points lost for not having any hominy in the menudo. They do give you plenty of tortillas for dipping though. I tried to tamale, it falls apart. Full of meat, could use more masa. Flavor is great, and I could eat a tub of the masa it's so good I'd recommend out of town-ers to come try this gas station Mexican stop. Very authentic, love it.

They have great street tacos, rice and beans! The tacos come with cilantro, onion, and a little potato.

Tasteless carne guisada and rice and beans. The meat pieces were nothing but fat, absolutely no meat in my meal.

Best torta I had in a long while. They are very generous when it comes to the toppings that I didn't have to ask for extra avocado.

The restaurant is clean and modern with a bright and welcoming aesthetic. The waitperson on staff was incredibly attentive and friendly; she was not confident in her English but my Spanish and her English combined were enough that all of our food (even with change requests) came out exactly as ordered and cooked to perfection. If you don't speak Spanish, don't let this dissuade you, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and knew exactly what my non-Spanish companions wanted without my subpar linguistic assistance. She made fantastic recommendations and accurately told us that everything on the menu was good. The menu had a great variety from shawarma to empanadas. The waitperson was very good about proactively telling us what they were out of (only a couple of things--lasagna and soup). I don't think you can go wrong with anything you can choose. I ordered the Pepito with mushrooms and chicken. It was AMAZING. Perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. My husband ordered a cordon bleu and a fish empanada along with a pizza pastele. Our daughter ordered the Venezuelan take on chicken shawarma. They greatly enjoyed their meals and we all enjoyed the mini empanadas we shared (two pork, two beef, and two chicken is the default). I also savored every drop of my Especial Super Sandys cocktail. The only drawback to this place is it is right next to my work, so I'm going to be constantly ordering from here or hating myself for not doing so. Edited to add: They were open until 11pm on the Tuesday night we went; some places online erroneously state 6pm as closing time.

It's advertised as Venezuelan cuisine and we had no idea what that meant. However, we do enjoy empanadas and they listed them on their menu. We ordered several pasteles and 1 empanada. I'm not sure what the difference is....they're both like a hand-held fried pie. The E's are larger than the P's. The ground beef variety was our favorite....VERY good. The ham and cheese was the next best. The pizza flavor was OK, but wouldn't order it again. The chicken variety was our least favorite. The creamy cilantro dipping sauce was amazing!! The staff was very attentive. Prices are fair. We can't wait to have more of those flavorful ground beef empanadas and try the other varieties too.

We had seen the place on Yelp and planned to grab something quick to go, but it turned into a great stop. The location is fantastic and convenient near the airport. The hostess was welcoming right away and directed us to the bar so we could place a quick to-go order. At the bar, the bartender gave excellent service and convinced us to try a couple of tacos along with the yuca fries and plantains we originally planned to order--and I'm glad he did. The Tacos Al Carbón were outstanding: grilled fajita beef with sautéed poblano and onion on flour tortillas topped with pico de gallo and guacamole. The steak was tender and full of flavor. The beans and rice were just right, and the plantains with coconut sauce were a perfect addition. The bartender also recommended a Stone Delicious IPA, which made the short wait enjoyable. We grabbed a Tamarindo agua fresca and bolitas de yuca for the road--light, flavorful, and perfect for the drive. Great food, great service, and a great find near the airport. Definitely worth stopping in.

For appetizers, we enjoyed the queso verde which was very green with roasted poblano, & corn. We chose to add short rib to it as well and it was quite tasty. I had the beef fajita for my meal and I enjoyed it and it his the Tex-mex spot for me as well don't have many Mexican restaurants in SoCal that serve fajitas. It was a nostalgic treat. My friend got the short rib enchiladas with queso oaxaca, red chile sauce, crema, radish, cilantro, queso fresco & caramelized onion.
