Chino catered for a birthday party I coordinated last month! First, he provided me with the opportunity to taste the offerings. His service exceeded my expectations! We enjoyed everything that he prepared! We had fajita chicken, grilled shrimp, vegetarian tortillas. The vegetarian dish was our most favorite! The fresh tortillas, chips, salsas, rice and beans was prepared to perfection! We had plenty left over and it still tastes great reheated! Thank you Chino for your excellent and professional service! I decided to try this place since I saw so many positive reviews I am a foodie so I take flavors very seriously I got the pozole which was not terrible the pork was flavorful and the hominy was good too the broth however was not as good as I was thinking it would be, it lacked flavor I got 4 tacos- carne asada, Nopalitos, barbacoa, birria. They were all very good, the birria was excellent, the carne asada was my favorite seasoned to perfection I gave the barbacoa to my husband and he enjoyed it a lot meat and flavor was amazing. My husband got 3 carne asada 3 pastor he said he didn't really like the pastor since they look like they were made with red dye, we had other pastor from the trompo so these were not as good as we expected them but they were ok I also got a side of console broth I gotta say I was very disappointed it tasted like a tomato base nothing like any consome I had Overall a good experience but would definitely try something different next time I stop by read more

This taqueria is very middle of the road. They have a fanstatic assortment of food (typically taquerias don't offer Mexican breads or certain types of food consistently...like posole). That said, their food doesn't knock your socks off. I didn't eat tacos so will judge it off different factors: Meat: 3/5. We tried their chicken chipotle, carnitas, asada. All tasted good but weren't amazing. The carnitas were a little mushy/wet instead of the crispy I prefer Tortillas: 4/5. I tried the sopes and my kids the gorditas, both were really nicely cooked and a good consistency. Other: 3/5. The salsa was really good but not memorable. The restaurant itself was very clean, tidy and well decorated, they put effort and love and money into this restaurant. I ate there at nighttime and it wasn't particularly full so I'm curious if there would be a different experience at lunch. I am always on the hunt for a new taco spot to try, so while i was in the area i decided to check out what was available for pick up on Grubhub. Luckily this taqueria was located on the next block over, it's not off the main road so you really wouldn't see it passing by. I wanted to try a little bit of everything so i ordered a spicy potato taco(papas locas), pollo con chipotle taco, carne asada taco, and a single birria taco. All were fantastic and exceeded my expectations! I really didn't expect much from the potato taco but that was probably my favorite out of the 4. So much flavor and spice. Absolutely fantastic. Had menudo, torta de milanesa, big portions! If you are not a hungry working man , maybe split a dish. Took Conchas and a half dozen pork tamales Vera cruz away with us. Home-made fresh horchata was the capstone. If you are near Lewisville and you are not eating here, you're missing out. I don't speak much Spanish. Nice clean interior. Some room for dine-in. I had three breakfast tacos for takeout: egg/potato, chorizo and bacon. I had ordered egg/ham, but for some reason. I got potato. The flour tacos are big in the sense that they are stuffed full. It a lot of food for a really good price. Each was flavorful. One of the key differences in breakfast tacos are each restaurant's sauces. Here the red sauce was spicy and quite good. The green was very simple/mild and I didn't find anything memorable about it. It is a good price and I very much enjoyed the tacos. I would return here again. read more

This is a little off the beaten path in Lewisville, they offer a large menu and have a very good breakfast selection, with several breakfast bakery items. If you are looking for breakfast this may be your place. As for the Birria taco, these are good but not what I am use to, with the taco themselves being less fried than I normally and a very light flavored broth on the side - so maybe this is a little more healthy version of Birria. The taqueria is worth a visit for the breakfast selection and for $10 you can try this version of Birria taco. read more
