Teach You The Tomato Slide Some of you are prolly snickering that I came here but I came to try the burger. Jumbo Jack with Cheese. Im still stuck in a time capsule that has me assuming these burgers are 99 cents! Snapback to reality and its nearly 5 bucks that im paying for the same thing! (see menu pic) This location is the newish JIB on the island sporting the new logo and building design. Didnt go in though, just drive thru, but is there like a 2nd floor with additional seating and wifi up there? It looks spacious, otherwise a waste of space! Okay so Now I know this isnt a burger thing or a location thing. It is a Jack in the Box thing. That tomato slide yo. The moment you sink your teeth into this burger and happen to clutch the tomato, you pull away, and the tomato pulls out. Its happen 3 times already and all from different JIB locations. The tomato slide has ended up on my pants, between the car seats, and this last time over my shirt leaving a messy trail of mayo and seeds. Whats up with that @Jack? The problem with JIB and me has always been the lackluster in taste. Though I do like their tacos once in a while, glancing at the rest of the menu has me constricted to thoughts of overly greasy food, thats not handled with care consistently enough, and over the top burgers that will probably shave a year off your longevity (buttery bacon jacks) I dont blame the cook or workers, theyve been friendly (most locs and times) its really the food selection and any other discrepancies are towards the managment. Jack in the box in Mililani town Center use to be my favorite spot for a cheeseburger & because one of girls asked me if I was a Veteran & gave me a discount. They took care of the Veterans. But things have changed where they no longer honor military veterans discount. Which is a shame for all the veterans that eat there like me. I guess I will have to find somewhere else to eat. Ordered food and upon arriving home I found that I was missing the chicken for my crispy chicken club salad, and also missing the curly fries for my chicken nugget meal. I called the store and they said I would get just the chicken from the chicken salad, and curly fries for free the next time I return, or recommended that I return back to the restaurant with everything ordered to get a refund. Not to mention that the shift manager also had a very terrible attitude about the whole thing. Don't go to this place. Every time I get food from here (drive through) it's not fresh. The fries were cold and hard. The egg rolls were not cooked through. The outside was borderline burnt but the innermost wrapper was still raw. The ultimate cheeseburger was also cold and the hamburger patties were borderline burnt and tough (like reheated burgers). It wasn't even busy, there were only 2 other cars in the drive through and 2 parked cars. Drive the extra miles and go to the Waipio one, they always serve "fresh" food that's cooked right and rarely burnt/overdone. Since I live close by, went shopping at Times and this one was close, I thought I'd give it another try. BIG mistake, I ended up throwing away the food because even my dog wouldn't eat the burgers. Food is good when they have it! But the shake machine is always broken and out of stock! Service is aweful! Most of the time the staff is not serious and just playing around! Drive thru is too long especially at night it's 20-30 mins in line and by the time you reach the window you food is cold! Bummer because I live so near to this location.... How dumb can management be? There is no point in upgrading to a new fancy location when you just implant the same old bad practices and same bad employees from the old location. Lets talk about two things food quality and service. Food: Not sure how the food are during the day but I always order from jack's late at night since it's one of few that's open 24 hours. But the beef patties seems like its been cooked hours ahead and popped in the microwave when ordered. It's dry and ugly looking not to mention tastes bad. Service: Must be a late night thing but employees are unfriendly and always has a grumpy face on when visit. Cant even get a simple request right. Ordered 2 buttermilk for my curly fries and was asked did i want it for my eggrolls which is suppose to come with sweet and sour sauce. I said no. I want it for my curly fries. When I try to place my order at the window they will walk by as if I'm not there and when they finally do take my order they give me an attitude. I like the food, but this location needs to fix their mobile app and customer service contacts ASAP, as both are hurting their business. Here's why... First of all, their mobile app doesn't recognize this new Mililani Town Center location. And because of that, you can't take advantage of their mobile coupon deals, like a free 3 piece egg roll with any purchase. The mobile app deals are only good if you order by the mobile app. Secondly, their current staff are not authorized to honor the mobile deals when there is no manager on duty (this was at 4:15pm today). Third, it was frustrating in using the mobile app to contact customer service as the only option was to send an email. This email process (1) did not recognize any location in Hawaii for reference (I had to use a CA location to help make it work); and (2) you are not able to input today's date (I had to input yesterday's date) to have the "Send" button appear to be used; and (3), I called their District Manager's phone number (which was in a Yelp photo) to leave a message...and guess what...the voicemail was full...go figure! PS: I went over to Taco Bell and spent my money there instead! read more

Tried the brand-new Jack in the Box tonight in Mililani Town Center. The location was clean, the staff well trained, and the food was well prepared. The soda machine was traditional style, which was a bit of a letdown though. I guess Jack in the Box is not quite ready to adapt to the custom soda craze. The remodel was expertly done, and was complete in such a way as to be completely unrecognizable as the former KFC that the building once was. The seating area is now up front with plenty of windows and space. I really enjoyed the Aloha feel of the entry area that featured a Jack on the beach and surfer posters. This new location is a 3,800-square-foot, drive-thru location and is supposedly now the largest in the state, but the seating area really doesn't feel that much bigger than usual. Check it out next time you are at Town center! read more

This Jack in the Box is located in Mililani Town Center's old KFC. I went in to check it out after seeing the fabulous glowing renovation at night. Ordered 3 milkshakes, a fries, and potato wedges. Not much to say-it's about the usual quality you'd expect from any other JBox. Service wise, they were friendly for sure, although, they did appear to be pretty understaffed. I went right after work, around 5pm on a weekday, and many other people had the same thought, so it was pretty crowded. Particularly crowded at the drive thru. Because I went in to order to go, I could see the "hectic-ness." (Is that a word? Haha, you get it tho) Thinking that it's cuz this place is brand new, and they need to work out the kinks. Still convenient, milkshakes are good. I'll probably be back. read more

The service there is very slow!! This is not the first time they would forget my dressing or other sauces. The grilled chicken salad was not fresh. Talked to (May) who supposedly was the manager about my complaint. She asked one of her employees if they put my ranch dressing in my bag, employee said yes which she lied!! I don't know why, but since JITB has moved from the Mililani Shopping Center to the Mililani Town Center, the service has been BANANAS! You would think that the staff would have just transferred over and already know operations. The wait time for the drive thru is about 15-20 minutes on average. One night I thought going in would be quicker, WRONG. Not only was the service slow inside, I inconvenienced my lazy behind by going in and there were a couple of "weirdo" chronic looking customers. No joke, a lady wearing multiple bras as headbands, paying for her food with allllll change! Only one register open and the rest of the employees wandering around aimlessly. I should have known by the amount of unhappy, hungry customers in the dining area that I should have just got back in my car. The bra lady should have been a red flag as well... but no. Went through the drive thru on 10/06 ordered $40 worth of food and came home to find that one of my burgers was missing the hamburger patty!! Called the store, they did not resolve the issue at all. The lady on the phone said there was no manger on duty and she was the supervisor, after asking multiple times to speak to management. During the phone she had raised her voice over the phone and seemed very unprofessional. The only thing she provided me was a managers phone number that was disconnected!! I'm sorry to say that this location is going to be keeping my 1-star review. In my original review I was giving them the benifit of the doubt as a new location, assuming that their issues were from a staff trying to get used to a new location and that their management team would learn and adjust to the new activity level and get things running better. However now we are far enough away from opening that they should have figured themselves out and this location has gotten WORSE if that is possible. To put it bluntly the food and service are straight up horrible and not worth spending your money on, it's cold, I can almost guarantee you they aren't following the mantra of "We don't make it till you order it." and I'm pretty sure someone isn't even keeping track of how fresh their ingredients are, yuck!
