This is the only location where there's always a problem with the app! Every time we go through Payson and stop here it's a problem and because we didn't come here the past two years I forgot about it! Incompetence inside when problems are brought to their attention and it shows I was charged 5 times in my account for an order they say they don't show. The male employee wearing a hair net and smirking about all of this was incompetent and childish and I'm glad I'm not eating food cooked by him after interacting with him and seeing he should give more attention to his hygiene. Boo! They advertise dining room open until 9:00pm, their door says open until 9:00pm but, at 7:50pm doors were locked. Employees made brief eye contact with us, laughed and never acknowledged our stares. Drive thru was in full swing but, we were towing a trailer so that wasn't an option. Worst Jack in the Box I have ever eaten at. Sandwiches missing tomato and lettuce. Tacos (all 4 of them) no lettuce or cheese. Not even condiments on the sandwiches. Chicken Sandwich with nothing on it but chicken and bun. The cashier was miserable. We are living here and will NOT be eating there again. Even the food was cold and not freshly cooked. Horrible. I've found a long black hair in my ultimate double cheeseburger TWICE visiting this location. I'm a local and used to go all of the time but won't be back now. This was probably the best experience we ever had, minus a long wait for food. The tacos were stuff full of everything from lettuce, meat, cheese, and sauce. The ultimate cheeseburger was hot and cheesy! The French fries were hot and crispy. Everything really was better than what you could expect. The manager I guess was running the counter and not very out going and courteous with dumb and dumber working back of the house. The tacos were the worst we've ever had at any Jack in the Box. We stopped at this Jack in the Box for take-out lunch during the covid-19 pandemic. The store was clean and free of tables and chairs. Restrooms were closed which could be easier for them to keep clean but hard on those travelers. Workers all had the same face mask and wore them properly (although one slipped down a bit (definitely not on purpose) on one worker so could use a smaller size, if possible. We tried the small burger and shared French fries and a drink. The food was good and hot. The only problem we had was this store could not hook up to the app so we couldn't get the specials they had online. I don't know if this is a store problem or a corporate issue but it should be fixed. Minus one star. read more

So I have always loved this location until recently. I had a horrible experience with Sydney/Cindy. Couldn't understand her name because she said it so fast just to send me on my way. I let her know I had called a week ago about an item being missing from my order and when I called they said just to come back through and let them know and they would be more than happy to replace it. When I told her the situation she refused saying if I didn't have the original receipt then she wouldn't help me. I have the phone call log and the monies taken from my bank account but still apparently wasn't sufficient enough. It was one order of bacon and cheddar wedges. When I asked for the store manager she gave me her name and I asked to speak with Mia and her response was "you have cars behind you so you will need to come into the lobby" when I said I would do so she then stated "well Mia is super busy so she is not gonna meet with you sweetie". First of all I'm not your "sweetie" and second of all if I'm a paying customer who lives in town and comes in regularly so I feel I should be given the respect to speak with her if need be. She literally treated me like a piece of chewed up gum on the bottom of her shoe. This girl should NOT be a manager. If this is how she treats customers. I'm not trying to rip anyone off for $3 and not only that I had placed an additional order that day. Someone needs to retrain her in customer service. I haven't felt that low, disrespected and disappointed in an establishment in a very long time. read more

I recently moved to Payson and was a regular Jack in the Box customer back in Phoenix. Sadly, there are never any deals going on in the store or in the app like there used to be. The few times that I have gone here the fries are always old and cold. I don't understand the reasoning behind giving someone who paid good money (especially in this economy) leftover food. I wait in the drive-thru each time for 8-10 minutes, so fresh fries should be dropped in the fryers. I think it's just laziness on their part. Mcdonald's always has hot fries. read more

Potty break anyone? Jack in the Box is there for you. This place was meeting expectations. Fairly clean restroom and fast food. However, let me mention I never had to work so hard to get a toilet seat cover... they are hard to get as it is and these ones were folded in half : ( But, what I want to make sure to mention is that the young lady at the register was very nice, efficient and friendly... (a blond young girl). Very prompt to meet our needs an even anticipate them. I appreciate that kind of service in any place, but even more at a fast food chain. Good job! read more

Durig a recent excursion the Payson area, we stopped to eat at this Jack in the Box. I like they're food, so I decided to patronize this location. I was thoroughly shocked at the condition of this establishment. The restrooms were disgusting, and the strong smell of urine was overwhelming. The vinyl wallpaper in the dining area was peeling off the wall in large chunks and "ALL" the tables were sticky to the touch. Why in the heck is the Payson Health Dept not inspecting this establishment? I will never eat at this place again. Even if my life depended on it. read more

The woman working the drive thru this afternoon is very rude and lazy. Everything I asked of her, her only response was "I can't do that" or "I'm not allowed to do that" A word of advice, don't work in place that requires you to actually do your job and help others. Absolutely the worst fast food experience I've ever had. We sat in the drive thru for 40 minutes (we were already blocked in by cars) until we got our food. I went inside to ask what was going on about 20 minutes in, and was told that they are short staffed, by half, because they can't get people to apply. There were 4 people inside, 1 just standing around. They had people parking and waiting for food because they couldn't cook the orders fast enough. This is a FAST food restaurant! I have only gotten coffee drinks through the drive through but I wanted to post this review because I have never had such friendly service at a Jack in the Box as I have at this location.
