A month later and I'm still a little jaded....I was jonesing for a Jack in the Box taco. I know how horribly disgusting they are but I still love them. We went through the drive through and the lady informed us that they were too busy to take order because two people didn't show for work so we needed to come inside to order....ok....so we park, go inside, wait, no biggie...I could see the girl was frazzled...I smile....order my taco...then she tells me that they cant make the tacos because the prep person didn't show and they have no lettuce. I then say, that's not a problem, I don't want any lettuce :) She rolls her eyes and insits that they still cant make the taco because the prep person wasn't there. SERIOUSLY?!? WTH!?! I waited I played nicely but nooooo this bitter lazy eyed woman was on a mission to ruin my day and she did congrats craving killer you suck! I still cant understand why the burgers had lettuce and why other people were shoving their face with fried crap but you insisted on denying me of my sweet little vice.....you are an evil, evil woman and should be ashamed. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews, but most of them aren't recent. This place is really good, the food is good and the service is great! The girl at the window had a cool name Winter, so I asked her about it and she laughed and told me the story behind it. She was friendly and sincere, and the food came out fast too! Tried again because me and my coworker like the food here but unfortunately same issue. Today we waited exactly 30 minutes for our order to arrive. It is very apparent and obvious they handle take out and drive through customers with priority while leaving dine in customers to wait ....Today it was 30 minutes. There is deff a problem expediting orders lately here and if your in a hurry I feel for you. One star for at least good food and friendly staff. read more

Waited In drive thru for 15 minutes. Finally got someone to take my order. Literally had to repeat myself almost five times after ordering anything. Upon arrival there was a note stating their soda machine was broken, I then order a salad and the guy tells me he has to check to see if they have any!?!? I was charged over $40 and they had charged me extra for something I did not order, I felt bad thinking maybe the guy was new (my first time at this location). Pull up to the window. There was a lady eating food making the food!!! The place looked HORRIFIC inside, NOT CLEAN whatsoever. The guy was nice but still had an overly obvious "I don't give a SH!T" attitude. He did apologize for the wait however it was just ridiculous overall service. Once I got home... I was missing three items!!!! I was not about to drive back and wait another 30 minutes (when in the drive thru.. my car was the second car. They were DEFINITELY NOT understaffed). read more

This Jack in the box is in fact one of the worst. The staff is slower then any place I have ever been. The burgers are put together as if they were in a rush even though the resturant was about empty. Ordered the new bacon blue cheese rib eye combo meal, what can I say. Got my burger thru the drive thru, big mistake, got back to work to have lunch and big disappointment. There was more sauce on the bottom bun then anything. I had 2 pieces of bacon about 1 inch by 1/2 inch is size and maybe a tablespoon of blue cheese right in the middle. I keep giving it another chance and another chance but after 10 years of trying maybe I should just stop going. It is obviouse that the owner, management, employes don't care or they would make changes seeing all the complaints about the store and staff. read more

Went through the drive-thru yesterday afternoon for a few tacos and fries. The place was empty. When I get to the window I'm greeted by a guy with more dreadlocks than I've ever seen all wrapped up behind him. I'm all for personal choice, but that much hair that you don't wash is unsanitary in food service. I also noticed he was wearing food service gloves that were all torn up and dripping with grease. When I got my card back, it was also covered in grease from his gloves. To top it off when I get my order he says they're out of taco sauce . . By the time I left I had lost my appetite completely. I know it's only fast food, but this place needs to work on it's standards. read more

This place has gone downhill. There is no other way to say it. Four out of five times being there it has taken me over 20 minutes. The first 15 minutes is just waiting in line to place my order. The next one minute is me being told the shake machine is either not working or already shut off for the night (even though they do not close for another hour)! I'm hoping that someone who can change things at the Placerville place will read this! My friend and I have eaten there several times but this is my first awareness of how dirty the place is and full of flies. We killed at least 20 near our table! Cash register was dusty, windows dirty. We did get our food quickly and orders were correct. It scares me to think how dirty the kitchen must be if the eating area was that bad. Fountain drink area had various stains on horizontal counter where you fill the drink. read more

9:06 pm and they ran out of Muncie meals... I took the time to come out and pick up a late night bite for myself and my wife. O, they ran out... the manager Cory said we ran out and we can not honer what we advertise basically... I asked sense you don't have it available would you offer 2 tacos, fries and a hamburger? Not even a drink. O! No we can't do that. I made the effort to go to this restaurant and of course was disappointed. This is not only a sad place of business but I even think Jack would be disappointed with this franchise! I left and went to Carl's Junior ordered two burgers very quickly and I was home having a quick meal with my bride. Wow I will never go to a Jack in the Box again. This used to be my "go-to" for a quick meal on my way into work, or at lunchtime. The last time I was here, on 12/18/2015, I got s smooshed Supreme Croissant that was cold. If Jack in the Box doesn't "make it until you order it," how can it be cold? The time before this, my husband walked inside to get lunch, and even though there were at least 4 employees behind the counter, and not another single soul in the dining area, we were not waited on for several minutes. We left without ordering! This has been a hit and miss place to have a quick meal, for the past year and a half now, and I would not recommend wasting precious time to show your patronage to this place. read more

Well let's just say you can write a review for this place faster than you get your food! Took them 20 minutes to get our food and took them over 10 minutes at least for them to get a guy just a taco!! Idk what happened to them but they take forever to get you your food. read more

I am deeply disappointed in the experience I had at the Placerville location last night. I went thru the drive thru ordered 4 tacos for my husband the woman who took my order was incredibly rood, I proceeded to the pay window where the window worker was unkempt and rood to the end with the other woman who was working who handed me my food and in a very rood tone says " ya want sauce?" I replied yes extra sauce please.. she literally lifts up more then two handfuls of sauce and says " will this be enough????" I was completely confused as to what was happening, she was clearly being rood and inappropriate I replied"No I only have 4 tacos I think about 5 sauces will be great!" She gives me a dirty look throws them in the bag and says " Have a nice day BITCH" and walks away, I'm left there feeling very upset as I have my 2 children in the car I sit there staring inside as I am watching all three workers laughing...the other blonde lady opens the glass window and says " what do you need?" I say I'm sorry but is this really how you treat your customers? This entire experience has been very upsetting and I'm very upset at how that woman just spoke to me especially with my kids in the car!" She replied whatever and closed the window and I got to drive away very upset with about in my stomach as to how horribly mistreated I was for NO reason! These people have to business working with the public speaking to customers who are the lifeblood of the business they are employed at. I've tried calling the location several times as I want to speak directly to the franchisee because whoever is giving those disrespectful people a paycheck should be aware of such poor work ethic. read more

I want to start off by saying I am one of the most laid back diners you will ever meet. If something gets messed up, hey, not the end of the world. If lines are going slow, you know what, I was prepared to wait. Now, that being said, this Jack in the Box was appaling. My visit yesterday at 6:30 at night was the straw that broke the camel's back. I've been here several times and it's always been mixed quality. Sometimes it's a little slow...sometimes an employee is kind of rude, but that's never been something that made me legitimately want to complain. Last night, I was literally stuck in the drive thru for 40 minutes and never got food. I do not know what the hold up was and I honestly do not care. What i care about is the fact that the employees were EXTREMELY rude. There were employees on their breaks LAUGHING at the people stuck in line not getting ANY service at all. The employees at the window acted like they didn't care at all either. Now, the experience was probably made worse by all of the customers who were angry and yelling at the employees. I understand that is an awful experience for tgese young kid's working here, but this place seriously needs new management. The employees simply just do not care and that falls back on those managing them more than anything. It's no skin off Jack in the Box's nose, I'm sure, but I will not give this store my business again. read more

I was up in the Placerville area on March 21, 2013 for a business meeting. My co-workers and I went to this Jack in the Box for a late breakfast . As we were walking in there were 2 of their employees standing by the door reading a piece of paper and laughing. Kathy was the name I saw on one of their badges was cussing and smoking blowing the smoke in our direction as we walked up to the door causing us to have to walk in to the smoke then she pulled her arm back with the cigarette and almost hit one of my co-workers. As we walked up to the counter I had mentioned to who I think was a manager because she was wearing a different color shirt she was preparing a order for the drive thru. She acted as if she didn't care cause she didn't even turn around to talk to me she just smiled said thank you and walked over to the drive thru. We decided to take our food back to our hotel as their were no clean tables to sit at. When we started to eat our food it was cold as if it were sitting there all day which explained the quick service. We will never go there again.
