Melinda is a joke. The lady who took my order on 8-30-20 was very disrespectful. Her name Melinda is one on the receipt and I'm pretty sure that was the person I was talking to the time was 3:00 my order was no more than five dollars and they could not give me back $.83 she handed me a quarter and told me to have a good day I told her no I want my change and she handed me five more pennies told me they're having a change shortage but that is not my problem you are a fast food restaurant She got very disrespectful towards the end as I was asking for the rest of my change. read more

Very unorganized drive through. Gave me a half full Sprite when I ordered a full Dr.pepper what an embarrassment. No spoon or fork for my seven dollar teriyaki bowl combo. I went here for a quick dinner.. well let me tell u... a quick dinner I got! At the drive thru window I was asked " does that complete your order" after everything I asked for. So after six things I ordered, I was finally done. At the window I handed the gentleman $40.00 and seconds later he basically shoved my change in mind hands, hands me my drink, rushes my next drink to me.. as I was putting my drink in cup holder, he's persistent on giving me my next.. I told him to hold on one sec. I take my next drink. He then shoved one bag after another ( 4 total) I noticed he never offered me any condiments. So I ask, he then proceeds to shove those at me. Once I received my entire order... I told him he needed to slow down, he told me " no ma'am we can't, we have a four minute time limit". I told him well you come off very rude... as I felt he had the entire time. During my ordering process I felt rushed, while receiving my food I felt rushed too.... extremely rude!!! I understand the whole time frame. All fast food joints around the surrounding areas have one to, but I have never felt this way. This place is absolutely awful. I ordered a breakfast burrito combo that came with a coffee and then a side of long curly fries. I got to the window and paid and the girl didn't speak English and messed up the order. She didn't give me curly fries because she didn't hear me order them and then when I reordered them at the window she gave me regular fries. I can't even eat at this Jack in the Box anymore. Sure they have fast service and sometimes the employees are friendly but they do not care for the quality of the food at all. I work graveyard shifts and this place is the closest fast food joint to my house that's open after work. They have served me uncooked chicken. Burnt chicken. I have gotten food poisoning from eating there. Just one thing after another and I just refuse to eat there anymore. I can't even just grab a drink because most of the time the soda is flat. I know from experience it doesn't take long at all to fix that problem. This place is the absolute worst. read more

The only reason I'm actually taking time to give these people a bad review is because I didn't appreciate how they gave me bad customer service and weren't friendly because of the customer before me. I can tell they had some type of issue with the car that was in front of me in drive thru, but I didn't appreciate how they were very unpleasant and half ass. No smiles and no good customer service. I go here because it's so close to my house. Just moved out here a couple months ago. I've gone to this location a couple times. I don't understand why I keep coming the workers are soooo rude. If YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB THEN QUIT. Someone else will take your place for you. My food will be cold, one time my card was demagnetized and they didn't want to put it in manually so they rather not deal with me even tho I was waiting for 40 minutes in the drive thru line. My cousin works for Jack and he said they can manually put it in so it's not like you couldn't do it. Then just recently we went they forgot my jalapeño poppers my bf got out and was knocking on the window to get their attention they looked at him and COMPLETELY ignored him and it was more than one employee who saw him. We paid for it and didn't want to wait in the drive thru again because there was a line. I'm so over it. I used to manage two different Cold Stones and all I cared about were my customers, so I don't understand how you can run a business and have bad workers. I came to get breakfast for my 2 year old son, he has become a bit picky the past couple of months and the only thing he seems to eat is pancakes. he loves Jack in the box pancakes, 4 out of the previous 5 times I have gone in the past couple of months something was old, usually their pancakes. This past weekend I went to get the breakfast platter which I get every time I go there for breakfast. I get home I don't see any pancakes in the platter to give my hungry 2 years old. So I decided whatever mistakes happen.. again... well I see the rest of the food and tried the egg. I spit it back out, everything was cold and looked super old. So I decide to go return it, I never return anything I usually take the loss because I don't want to go through the hassle to go back. I am greeted by the manager in drive through, I tell her what happened, she said she would replace it, I declined since I had fed my son already. I just asked for my money back. I tell her this has been an ongoing problem, she Said she will take to her cooks, does not apologize . She has the nerve to blame the cooks when we all know she was just trying to save a few bucks by using all the product even if it's expired which she clearly knew it was, I saw her packing orders in the background when I had placed my order. This place is disgusting. First time going there and will never go back. Everything was bad the tacos were cold and stale. The fries were stale as well, hard and cold. I got a Santa Fe chicken salad with crispy chicken...when I bit into the chicken it was ice cold so gross. Plus they forgot part of my order which I only realized once I got home. Has been fine a number of times but my most recent visit at around 1am, I asked for no cheese on my tacos and I am almost certain that the person who prepared it was cleaning the bathroom beforehand and didn't wash his/her hands and used their unclean fingers to swipe out the cheese as only the top part of the taco (where the cheese is before it gets melted) tasted exactly like bathroom bleach / cleaner. I understand it's a fast food place so it's not the most hygienic place but not washing your hands after cleaning the bathroom?? read more

Wish I could give negative stars. I've been going here since its opening. Tonight's service was the absolute worse. After ordering we were instructed rudely to wear our masks, its mandated, so I found the rudeness unnecessary. While waiting to pull up, we can hear the employee arguing with the passengers in the car in front of us. After the car screeched off, we pulled up. Ashley opened the window and handed us a shake with whipped cream overflowing the lid and chocolate on the very bottom, as it wasn't mixed, and took out credit card. Without a word she was going to close the window. I spoke up and asked for napkins, her and the other employee just looked at us. With frustration we were given napkins to wipe up the mess they handed us. She handed us our food and we had to ask if they could throw away the napkins full of whipped cream. She snatched them and closed the window. Notice I've not said we were spoken to at all. Frustrated now by their complete disregard of why they were there to begin with, we drove off, only to realize with all that attitude, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for their jobs, we weren't given the soda. We came back and the car that had been in front of us was back at the drive thru window. When we pulled up the window was opened, the drink was handed to us, the window was slammed closed, and no words were said. This should be unacceptable. They only have the drive thru to manage at this time, and yet being professional is completely lost. The food isn't worth the attitudes given. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. The dining room was FILTHY, 5 empty tables with food crumbs and mess all over them, floors were equally disgusting. The food was terrible, we got a sour dough bacon burger, egg rolls and a teriyaki bowl. The teriyaki bowl was ok, the other food was really bad. There was a homeless man sleeping in one of the booths, then another homeless man approached us at our table, while we were eating, asking us for money. When we walked out to our car we noticed trash strewn ALL OVER THE PARKING LOT!!! This Jack in the Box is in the Albertson's shopping center, which is located in Orangecrest, a great part of Riverside. We have not gone here for some time, but I can honestly say, we will NEVER, NEVER go back to this one again, totally disgusting. Oh, I forgot to mention, when I told the cashier behind the counter that the dining room was filthy and 5 tables needed to be cleaned, she did not even apologize for the mess!! I just came from the drive thru here and ordered a jumbo jack, chicken sandwich, a iced tea, and a cup of ice. As I drove away with my food I reached in for my chicken sandwich and realized there was no chicken patty!! What the hell!!? So I drove back and the girl laughed and said that the cook was new. As I drove away I dumped my Red Bull in the cup of ice, took a drink, and noticed a different flavor. When I took the lid off, there was a piece of chewed gum at the bottom. What kind of disgusting establishment is this?? I will never go there again and advise others to do the same. read more
