I am so disappointed with how they are handling the new self service machine. They say they implemented it to streamline the ordering process, but this is the second time I walk in with zero line (no one in front or behind me) and the manager guy points at the stupid self service machine..... The first time he made me use it even though I didn't want to and then right when I was finished someone came in and he took their order! And the same thing happened the second time.... Honestly after the second time I feel like I am being singled out..which is weird for a business to do... Why would you MAKE your customer utilize the self service machine when there are two cashiers standing there?! To the hiring manager/owner, I usually come here to pick up for ubereats occasionally and also to eat. The older gentleman is very thorough and is a very capable worker. I would hire him in a heartbeat if he was to apply (or even promote him to manager), long ago when i assisted in the hiring process at a restaurant. But there is a young man, who has an accent, who tries to provoke/bully and has a hard time doing simple orders when I clearly give him the name of the order. Not only do i show him the name/order on my phone, I find myself having to repeat the name since he likes to ask multiple times before he gives me the order. It's happened the last two visits now. I would fire him or make sure he is reprimanded for the sake of the business. Characters like him will do this to customers when he finds the opportunity as he has already done that with me. The last few times I went the veggies are under cooked and they hardly give you any rice. Rice isn't even that expensive so I don't understand why they are skimpy with it. Had a bad start with this Waba listing themselves as open on Yelp before they were but they corrected that and are now open. Went in today to try their miso soup which I didn't even know they had. Ordered on the app and it was ready when I got there. Staff was friendly and the soup was hot and as described. Not actually something I would order again but I'll be back this week to pick up their BOGO deal offered on their app. I always appreciate free food. Waba also sometimes offers deals on localflavor.com which is basically a half off deal. I always reward places that give out deals by giving them business even when they don't.
