We came in on a Friday evening to eat here for the first time. It is a nice little spot and the environment reminded us of an original Mexican taqueria. The service was very good and staff were friendly and attentive. The torta and fish tacos were very authentic and delicious. The carne asada fries were huge and tasty. By the way, only cash and Venmo are accepted here!

Well I only got pictures of the left overs lol This place is conveniently located next to the hospital. Where I had been for days. It's kinda hidden but look for the menudo flag, parked went in when I see a salsa bar I knew it was gonna be good! Cucumbers, radish & pickled onions. I was in the go ordered 2 tacos asada & pollo mulita for the road. Well let me tell you it was delicious! I almost pulled over to eat but traffic help. Went back that night got the carne asada fries, soooo good nacho cheese was the perfect touch. Birria egg rolls they were huge and hit the spot. The chocoflan looked so delicious & it was! The cashier lady was so friendly telling me she make the flan nightly. Luckily I know people in the area cause this would be a long drive from San Diego, Definitely coming back to try the guavaflan.

Little hole on the wall but this place is already a favorite of ours. Super friendly staff that explained a few things we've never heard of before. The best aqua Fresca!! Juicy asada and super flavorful salsas. We'll be back real soon.

I ordered from here through Uber Eats and I had to call the restaurant to tell them how good it was. First bites had me dancing. I got carne asada fries with Birria, muleta, and horchata. The food is amazing so flavorful and hot even with delivery the portion of food is so good and everything is seasoned well. I never call to compliment a restaurant but this one I had to. Living in IE everyone has had a bad order of carne asada fries at least once (they come dry, barely any meat, barely any cheese, skimpy) but the fries I got tonight from here ‍ perfect in every way. All the salsas they gave me are flavorful too (not that any of their food needs it seriously). The red one had good heat to it and they all taste fresh. The horchata was good too. Sweet and refreshing. I'll absolutely be recommending this place to my friends and family. I only interacted with the staff over the phone but the one I talked to he was super friendly and he seemed happy to hear that I liked everything and thanked me for calling and giving my feedback. I'm full, I'm happy, and I wanted to leave a review for them. Hopefully I can come in person next time

Super tasty! I got a taco al pastor and a vampiro de carne asada. Everything was so good that my only regret is that I didn't get more. The pastor meat was seasoned wonderfully. I really liked it. This was my first time trying a vampiro and it very similar to a taco but the tortilla is grilled to be more crunchy. That was really good. The service was spectacular. The lady was very kind and friendly. Also the place is very clean and I like that the salsas are covered and not exposed to the air dust. read more

Very little flavor at all, simply not worth the price, completely regretted having spent 40+$. Asada torta had so little meat in it, you could barely make one taco with it. The birria tacos we got had so much meat you'd think it would be yummy, but there's NO FLAVOR. Bland birria, the consomé (soup) doesn't do any help. read more

Honestly Tacos are veryyyy Good The tortilla seems house made(has the taste of fresh masa). I'd say probably one of the best nearby. The Al pastor tacos are pretty good great flavor and the salsas they have are really good as well! Forgot to mention the horchata has the taste of rice, which means they make it the correct way! Other than that come try it out! The asada fries are a must to try out!!! Feeds about 4 people! Area is in a lowkey spot, Apple Maps leads you to it though! Services is great! Must try!! read more

Yum! We decided to come here and grab lunch to go after we saw it on an app for places that don't use seed oils. We got multiple tacos and a vampiro - chicken, asada, birria, Al pastor... everything was DELICIOUS with maybe the exception of the asada, it was a little overcooked but everything else was great! The green salsa and the avocado salsas were also delicious. Will be coming back ! read more

My husband had been wanting to go for the longest time so one friday we were hanging out with friends and decided to go, we got there and only two tables were taken so we figure we wouldn't have to wait a long time for our food, well we were wrong, after one hour passed and we didn't get our food or drinks we asked the waitress and she said it was coming, one hour later we were still waiting, we had to go again and ask for our drinks, we got tired of waiting so we finished our drinks and decided to leave. My guess was that they ran out of meat or something had to be wrong because the wait was ridiculous. My husband wanted to eat there so bad that i told him we would go back another day but then i went to their Instagram page and left them a comment on a picture telling them about our experience, not only did they deleted the comment but they also blocked me. My comment simply said that we were hoping for a better experience and we didn't even had a change to taste the food. instead of taking the time to write back and say that they were working on better service or that something had been wrong that day they were so unprofessional, or maybe they just don't care about customer feed back. read more

A hidden gem. Hands down one of the best taco places in the IE. They also offer a variety of other Mexican cuisine such as tortas, vampiros, mulitas, and even homemade coricos. Everything is always fresh and delicious. I visit at least once a week. The service always caters to your every need and they're always friendly and make you feel like you're right at home. Would recommend to anyone who's looking to make this a new favorite. Make sure to also look out for their cool merchandise. I had the asada tacos and my hubby had a carnitas torta, both were so delicious! I like how the corn tortilla is crunchy a bit greasy but still delicious. Hell yeah! Best tacos in I.E. I'm super picky about my meat and usually cook my own tacos. Not anymore the chicken was so tender and flavorful. Carne Asada is bomb! The have plenty of cucumbers and lime and onions covered and are not stingy on the salsas. The guacamole salsa is really good! They open late and will be back soon.
