Shout out to Gustavo, man deserves to be recognized. I arrived on a Sunday night, tonight in fact. The drive thru was a tad bit busy. Unbeknownst to me it was cause seemingly it was only Gustavo working the window and grill at least that's what it seemed to me. With how busy it was he needs to be recognized because throughout the whole time I was there and once I arrived to the window not only was he calm, he was genuinely nice. He needs a raise, opportunity to grow or at minimum some sort of recognition. We're all too quick to hate and write negative reviews because we experience prolonged wait times, but in these times sometimes we need to be in other peoples' shoes. Look at the attached photo. Look how small the box is. Less than 10 onion rings. The Onion rings are half the size that they used to be. Prices much higher. So I'm not a big fast foodie but I actually dig Jack in the box from time to time. This was my second visit to this restaurant. I just had spine surgery and I'm in a brace. I was waiting for the woman in front of me to complete her order with the man behind the counter. They were speaking Spanish but it was obvious that she was upset with the man. A homeless man came in and I left him go before me. I'm finally at the cashier and ready to order. Easy peazy,right? Nope. The cashier is a a short Hispanic male. I ordered a $7 meal and bc I use their app, they have app only offers. I showed him my app coupon and he was immediately resistant to give the Ofer to me. He kept asking for a coupon number but NONE of their app coupons have number! He refused to honor Jack in the Box's own coupon! He told me that I had to call to find out a code for him to use the coupon which is absolutely wrong. I am a disabled woman who walked all the way there in a neck brace just to eat! He wouldn't give me a manger, his name; or corporates info. I was looking for my cash and then debit and instead of being patient he actually told me to ask the customer before me for her money!! If i wasn't disabled and a week out of surgery I would have dug my heels in, but instead, when he walked away from the register, I walked out the door. A complaint is being filed with corporate, BBB, and bc he was treating a disabled person in such a demeaning way, I'm notifying the Dept of Disability. Let me be very clear- this gentleman barely spoke English. Regardless of what's going on news wise, I would expect this older man feels blessed to be able to live and work in the US. But to act obnoxious and unappreciative to your customers bc of your inexperience and your inability to do your job properly, this is disgusting! This place is insane, the staff is just talking to each other in the kitchen, I placed my order before couple of people. And everyone's order comes first before mine. There are very few locations I will give a 1-star review to, and (I'm not a crazy foodie, and I take into consideration location as well as the craziness of other's lives when I give a review.) this, unfortunately, happens to be one of them. I stopped by the drive thru midday on 03/01/19. Ordered a breakfast combo, extra sandwich, and dessert, no egg on the breakfast sandwiches. I should add I'm only in Santa Clara for work 2hrs 2 days/week. Driving here was a calculated decision based on the reviews, and the amount of time it would take to drive up and back. Got my food, headed back, grabbed a sandwich, unwrapped it, and took a bite. It was cold, ice cold. The ham, bacon, and bread were cold, the cheese was unmelted. Given the lack of warm egg, I don't expect piping hot, already melted, but I do expect warm. I looked in my bag, around my car, only to find I've been given no receipt. I look up the business and call, the only thing I can do. "You can bring it back and we'll replace it!" The lady says, "I don't have any extra time to come back today" I reply I get silence in reply. Then "Well what do you want me to do?" I get it, people get busy and stressed in fast food, so I offer a response I've heard before, "Maybe you could put my name down for next time?" She agrees and puts down my name, asking for the next date I'll be in town. I get to work, try my hashbrown, which is somehow both burnt and cold. I check the cake, which has a black hair on it. I'm blonde. -2 stars for initial cold food and cranky management. But it gets better. I stop back by on my second return to town. I walk in (I served those people in drive thru, it slows everything down, so walk-ins are much preferred for handling issues). I explain that I called in, the issue, and that my name should be in back. A man comes up and asks for my receipt, I tell him that they never gave me one. I have a record of the charge on my bank app, a record of the call on my phone, but no receipt. He told me they would replace the sandwiches, but I would need to purchase the cake again. The man called back for 2 sandwiches to be made. Before I could reply with the hair on the cake, he took off. I explained the hair to the lady again, who said "uh huh" and did nothing. I worried about the hash brown as I watched and waited. Another customer walked in. I was standing in front of the register. The man respectfully waits behind me. Lady (who is staring past me now) calls loudly "Can I take your order" to the customer. She makes it clear she's speaking to him and takes his order, all while I stand in front of the register, flabbergasted at her complete ignoring of me. I had intended to order another drink (the only thing not broken about my order). She didn't even think to ask if I wanted to order anything else. The sandwiches came up and she placed the bag in front of me. Sure enough, no hash brown. I explained that the whole meal was cold, including the hash brown. She turned and had them put down hash browns. I check my sandwiches, just to make sure they're warm. One is. The other is lukewarm (the ham is cool, the bacon is warmish). I get a couple hash browns, but they refused to replace the cake or receipt. -2 more stars for poor management handling, not completely fixing the order, and cold food (again). They never checked for my name by the way. I rarely will *never* go somewhere again, but I will NEVER be here again. read more

This location is a disgrace to all Jack in the box's. I live down the street from this place and they always get the order wrong, it's a miracle when they do get the order right. Sometimes I even think they do it on purpose. If you ask for no Mayo they glob it on as if you said please add extra. The chicken meals are always over fried and the fries are stale I even asked what time they make fresh fries so I can come at that time they said "they're always fresh" , today 7/30 was the last straw though I went and they said "we have no food only sodas" it's my fault for trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and keep coming here. This time I'm not coming back. The one on blossom hill road is amazing, and if I have to travel 18min just to get good service, so be it. read more

Drive through line was full (3 cars waiting for food, 1 ordering food, and 3 cars waiting to order) so we went inside. We asked them if they were open inside and would take our order. They said "yes but to wait a minute." After 5 minutes they asked us to wait for one minute. Then after another 5 minutes they asked us to wait another minute.
