I always passed by this plaza when I go to work, but I never really drove inside to see what's here besides going to Starbucks. I didn't realize there's a Burger King here and I came here for some lunch Monday. I usually like to go through a drive-through so having to go inside the store bothered me a little bit. However, when I went inside, I noticed that it was very clean and well kept. I was greeted and the staff were all very friendly. There were two kiosks that I used to order, but you can also order at the counter too. I never really had an issue with Burger King food but at this location I feel like it tastes a little bit better and it feels a little bit more fresh. This might be my favorite Burger King location! I'm so glad I checked it out. read more

Visited 10/25/25 at 1:30 pm. The food is good though served slopily though not busy at all. The ladies behind the counter were very very patient with me and actually listened and got my order perfect when I asked for light ice. Dining area was gross as well as outside the establishment. The play area is a hazard and lawsuit waiting to happen. The rubber mats are coming up posing a serious trip hazard for anyone. Above and beyond on their service. I can't remember a single fast food place with kind wonderful people like here. I wanted to order something from the online menu which was not available on their menu. The manager, who seemed like the owner, was willing to accommodate in some way but I declined. Ended up ordering the family meal from the menu. I was really thirsty drinking most of my drink waiting for the food. A lady offered to refill my drink. Very considerate! Unfortunately for them I rarely eat fast food but on this day or binged on a family meal. My gut paid for it later. It wasn't the food. I've had excellent service from Burger Kings, but this was extraordinarily bad. I was served by a Burger Vassal, not a King at all. He was one of the uniformed workers, a man who seemed to be a manager or lead, didn't catch his name, but he was tall and seemed to be bossing around the other workers, including the lady who served me my order initially. When I asked for a refill on my small Diet Coke--my second--he rather rudely informed me that I could not have a second refill and that they only provide one per customer. When this became their policy, I cannot say, as I visit Burger King every Wednesday for Whopper Wednesday, and I've never had someone be this rude or tell me no to a second refill; I got the clear feeling he just didn't want to do it for me. After, he said something under his breath to his coworker, too, which I couldn't quite make out, but I understood to be pointed at me and my friend. He was looking at me with his swollen face and beady eyes like I was some kind of antagonist, when I am, contrary to this, a willfully paying customer and one who is always exceedingly polite and courteous, unlike the worker I encountered the day I visited. If this is the standard of service you are comfortable with receiving from a restaurant, especially a manager or lead or supervisor from one, then by all means, go enjoy the cleanest Burger King in San Jose. As for me, I'm happy to say there are plenty of nicer workers who don't have apparent biases or anger issues at other Burger King locations, and the only reason I would return here is so I can look this worker in the eye and receive the apology I deserve. read more

5-18-21 Well this used to be my favorite Burger King. It ain't the same no more. They don't even do refills (other fast food places still do, but just give a new cup.) Cleanest Burger King location ever! Not only is it clean but their employees are extremely nice. I wanted the chicken fries but they told me they didn't carry it and the cashier was recommending what else I could get that's a spicy chicken. I went ahead and got the 4 of chicken nuggets and the total for that was $1.85 (much cheaper than McDonald's) I went to use the restroom and it smelled clean, no strong bleach order just a soft clean smell. No puddles or toilet paper thrown around which is a big shock especially for a fast food restaurant. read more

I went for the $5 offer of a Whopper Jr and a crispy chicken strip wrapped in a sort of tortilla. The food was excellent. I almost ordered a medium drink but that plus tax would have made my final cost More than $10. More than $4 for a drink. All it takes is an amazing manager at the top to take what he does seriously and his whole team will be great! This is the best Burger King I've ever been to. The vast majority of locations are sub-par and without a truly compelling item on the menu to order, it fell out of my rotation for a couple decades. Then, I found this location on Almaden Road. And I swear, it's one of the best fast food experiences I've ever encountered. This staff is totally on the ball. When it comes to fast food: nobody in the genre is winning any Michelin stars. So the primary factors are temperature and freshness. This Burger King gets it right on both counts. The orders are always hot and made-to-order, the ingredients all seem to be rotated in on a regular basis (for maximum freshness, unlike some locations that buy in bulk and serve old product). This Burger King has the best service of any Fast Food place I have been to in San Jose. There's a kids playground and it's a wonderful place to come with kids. The staff is incredibly attentive and nice, offering refills, taking food out into the playground and just being super nice. I was legit surprised to get this level of service at a Burger King. Today I called this Burger King to check if they have the IMPOSSIBLE WHOPPER, and the nice manager man told me they do. He convinced us to come to this location and we're glad we did. This place is cheap. No refills on sodas. It's one thing to have your soda machine behind the counter, especially during Covid. It's another to charge high soda prices, fill it high with ice and deny refills. Also bathrooms are only for customers, which I was, but it's really stingy to have a sign in front of the bathrooms saying you need to get a key. Also, in the middle of a heat wave, it would be nice to have the restaurant kept a bit cooler, like other fast food restaurants. It wasn't terrible, just not cool when you walk in the way you would expect. The owner of this Burger King needs to learn about customer satisfaction. He/She is cutting corners that prevent customers from having an experience that is on par with every other Burger King across the nation. Compared with that, this one comes out looking pretty pale by comparison. Too bad because the food was good. read more

Came in before watching a movie. The place was empty around 145pm. No one was at the front to take my order. No employees to be seen. Waited at least 5 to 10 min before someone came out. The employees were in the side room with the door partially closed so they could not see who was out there. My wife and I frequent this Burger King a couple times a month. The food is always fresh and service is overall good. We always order the same thing, 2 chicken sandwiches (no Mayo) and two medium fries. We ask for the following condiments: 4 Mayo packets, 2 ranch and ketchup. The employees have always provided everything we need to enjoy our meal. Today, October 19, 2022, we placed our same order and when it was ready, I asked for the above condiments. The employee gave me two mayonnaise packets, two ranch and 4 (he counted them and put back the extra) ketchup packets. When I asked for 2 additional Mayo packets, the employee told me it would cost $.50 and he would give me as many as I wanted. Not only was his response rude, but when I mentioned I have never paid before he said "it isn't my Mayo". What kind of response to a customer is that? Is there a charge for mustard? Ketchup is free. Mayonnaise is a chargeable condiment? Charging for something that is standard on at least half of the menu items is absurd. This Burger King has always had friendly staff and management, but I don't know if it has recently been sold. If so, the old owner, management staff and employees were much better. read more

I like this burger king. I know its a fast food chain and theres one on every street corner, but this one was pretty good. There is a reason why its one of the higher rated BK's. It's pretty clean with almost all the tables being attentively checked. There's also a home encampment nearby too, but I don't think its never impacted here. The quality is pretty good too. I usually get the chicken sandwiches, and they've been coming out hot and crispy with the lettuce having nice crunches. Also, the soft serve works. read more
