This location has the worst customer service I have ever seen. We came at 10:15 and the dining room was closed even though they are open until 12. They told us to go through the drive through even though we had no car. They wouldn't take our order ever though we are PAYING CUSTOMERS. Rude drive thru employee my receipt stated a Etzel was the employee helped me and the attitude she carries when taking orders, handing out condiments, or even handing you your food is beyond rude. Not from the area but had a doctors appointment here in Santa Barbara, and was fasting so was on my way back home and needed something to eat. So I had seen this Jack in the Box so wanted to stop to get food before I went back home. 1st the fries was hard and odd so asked for new ones half for new half were old still, my burger was bad seem like it was old as well. This Jack-in-the-box is ridiculous, especially after all the bars have closed on Halloween night. It's not exactly 24 hours... at least the dining room isn't. The drive thru may be but we had walked in at 3am and they were locking the doors because he said they close at midnight. We had initially fell in line at the drive thru but it wasn't going anywhere so we walked in. That still took almost an hour. The food is average JitB but at least we knew it hadn't been sitting there for hours cuz they were so busy cooking food left and right. read more

2 and a half stars. One word...TACOS!!! Sure they're made with some kind of mystery meat/soy paste and fake cheese with chopped lettuce doused in hot sauce all wrapped up in a crunchy, greasy taco shell, but doggone it, they're good (especially after a beer or two)!! As far as service goes at this location, it's typical JITB. Not overly friendly, nor rude (at least that's been my experience thus far). I can't remember the last time they got my order right. I order the same thing, Jumbo Jack with Cheese, no tomato, fries and medium drink. I've had the burger sans cheese, or with tomato, sometimes even the wrong fries! Once they gave me a kids soda cup instead. I finally gave up and just hit Taco Bell instead, even if I needed a meat fix. The tiny, unforgettable dining room closes at midnight so if you are walking after then you are out of luck. Yea. This location is horrible. I purchased $24 worth of food. After placing my order I was asked to pull forward and my order would be walked out to me. I was the only vehicle in the drive through at 6:15 pm on a Sunday evening. That should have been a red flag but I assumed my order was going to be fresh and hot. Boy was I wrong. Upon returning home a mile away, the fries were cold, the tacos were under cooked, the sourdough burgers were barely toasted and cold. Never again. I placed an order through the JITB app and when I drove thru to collect my order, an unconscionably rude employee named Julietta said they were only taking fryer orders. I explained my situation and she flippantly says, Yeah I can't help you with that", and disappears from the speaker for 2mins. I asked to speak to a mgr or to whomever was in charge which evidently offended her and after a rant from her she had me drive to the window ahead where by now I was through and got her name to report her to the mgr the following day and get my refund. I explained to her that I'd do everything I could to avoid future customers having to deal w/her entirely unhelpful and rude attitude. As I slowly drove away she stuck her head out of the window and says, "You can have my job" and screams out, "I don't give a fuck"! To be honest, this place has really lacked their service. We went through the drive through and the lady talked in a bad mood and didn't seem like if they wanted to work. Been here so many times the past week ordering Munchie Meals(after 9pm) and also denying the initial offering of trying some new burger. Food is good and amount of fries has a bit of variability, but all-in-all a nice quick-fix that's open 24-hours! Proper hand washing is something I find to be very important and this company took 30 minutes to replace the hand soap in the bathroom. I could understand if it was a busy day but there were only 4 of us there and they were fully staffed. My friend cameback to the front for them to acknowledge the issue. read more

I would give no stars if I could. Absolutely disgusted. Went in on Sunday around 9pm and had to wait in like for 10 minutes before someone actually noticed me and took my order. Asked for a plain burger and they put everything on it. Asked for curly fries with my meal then they gave me regular fries... then I ask for mayonnaise packets and they give me honey mustard. They didn't even put napkins in the bag. Customer service is horrible, not going back. Employees are so rude I'm surprised they haven't gotten fired yet. The lady who took my order was so extremely rude. She rolled her eyes at me and looked like she did not want to be there. Also the place is filthy and there's flies. They don't clean the bathrooms. Lets keep it simple. We ordered a breakfast jack meal with a large coffee and large curly fry, 4 tacos and spicy chicken sandwich combo with a small coke and small curly fries. What we got was 8 freezing cold tacos a cold chicken sandwich and regular fries. We had them remake the tacos and sandwich only to have the tacos come out overdone. Our last visit was also incorrect. Poor poor drive through service!! First the drive in wait time was ridiculous for a Sunday night at 8:30 pm. Strike #1 When I did get to the window the man was yelling at the other employees. I am a customer correct employees on your own time, not where customers can hear you. Strike #2 my bill came to $12.47. I handed him 20.47. Some of my change slipped through and hit the ground. We both looked down. He said don't worry about it. Then he handed me $7 and some change. I said you owe me $8. He said I gave him 20.27. I said no I didn't I handed you $20.47. Now I ask anyone reading this if the bill came to less than a dollar, change was dropped, isn't it a safe assumption that I gave the exact change. And since he said don't worry about the change dropping isn't it a fair assumption on my part that he'll get it when the drive through cleared out? The drive through lane is so tight I couldn't open my door to get the change. Strike #3 I ordered 2 different diet drinks and all the indentions on the lids were punched down so in order to know which drink was which we had to take the lid off. Wouldn't recommend this location. 2 breakfast jacks and both the eggs had GREEN stuff in them! It was disgusting and my boyfriend didn't notice until he was halfway through the first sandwich. The tacos he ordered had very brown lettuce on them and both our fries were cold and barely edible. Neither of us ate all of them. About 75% of the meal was thrown out. One of the worst Jack in the Box restaurants I've ever been to in my entire life. I have had three total bad experiences with them and the third one was my final straw. First, I had my fries over done and they would burn our tongues and give us harsh burns. We aren't cruel enough to sue but we would have done it if they fries stayed there any longer. Second time. I had a frozen fry served to me. I guess it was lost in translation or something but a frozen fry? Please. Final and third time, I had a coupon for a free chocolate cake for my birthday and they refused to give it to me thinking that the coupon was expired. I had to argue with the employee that the coupon CLEARLY stated that it was good for that exact day i went and the employee refused to give it to me. Until a certain point where he had enough of me and just to make me happy gave it to me but I'm sure he didn't agree with me. Why can't people read coupons correctly? It was a printed coupon as well. Do yourself a favor and never go to this restaurant in your life, there are better Jack in the Box places to go and this isn't one of them. read more

While shopping in the area Saturday 11/12/2016, I decided to stop in at Jack in the box.. I haven't been in this location in a long time. Just remember it being next to the busy car wash next door.. well my first impression was WoW!! So clean inside. I always go to the bathroom before I order .. very clean.. so I walked up to the counter and first thing I get is a hello welcome to jack in the box with a big smile .. very nice .. suggestive sales was great.. so I decided to try the BLT combo for the great price of $4.99.. asked if I can have onion rings instead of fries.. so nice to get a smile with that , of course you can!! So nice to just be greeted and also my order taken with such gratitude.. Patrick was his name that gave me an awesome service from beginning to end.. repeated my order and counted my change back and all with a pleasant smile.. I will definitely would come back again!!
