Just a horrible experience. After stepping over trash and a sticky spill outside, we were "helped" by a young girl who obviously thought her text conversation was more important than we were. No hello, hi, thanks or anything. Just a robotic scripted "what can I get you?" After placing the order for 2 teriyaki bowls, we noticed a half dried spill at the drink area. When our order# was called, I noticed that we were given spoons to use instead of forks. When I asked, Ms Personality advised "nope, we are out". Then when I noticed that we did not get any egg rolls, I asked why. She said "well you didn't order the combo, you just said bowls. And besides, we are out of egg rolls" I decided to spare her emotions and NOT go full tilt pissed off old man mode. In spite of all that fiasco, the food was good. This is a family owned business. They are horrible. I slipped and fell and they did not even offer anything as compensation. OK well this 1 star review is WELL DESERVED. Every time I come to this G.D. Jack in the Box on White Mountain Blvd. They have issues... In the mornings they are not open... When the finally open.. They say "give us 5-10 minutes" I wait.. Order.. Then 10 minutes later they say ALL there computers are down. Now, I came at 6 pm, in the drive thru.. I am told I need to wait 5-10 min to place my order, so they could get their orders caught up. . Jesus Christ get your together. read more

This visit was during the covid-19 pandemic. 6/11/20. I like Jack in the Box. Their food is good. We prefer this over other fast food. What I do not like is companies who have employees not concerned about the public health. I'm sure the company provided a mask but the person handling my food today had her mask around her neck. My recent visit to Jack in the Box was nothing short of a total nightmare, and I cannot stress enough how terrible this establishment is. Upon entering, I was immediately hit with an unbearable stench of old, rancid grease. The restaurant was in a state of complete disarray: tables were covered with crusted food remnants and sticky stains, the floor was a minefield of trash and spilled drinks, and the bathrooms were so vile they could have been mistaken for a public health hazard. The staff at this location were the most unprofessional, rude, and incompetent group of individuals I have ever encountered in any service industry. The cashier, who lacked any form of identification or name tag, greeted me with a scowl and an audible groan as if my presence was a burden. The entire crew seemed more interested in their phones and chatting amongst themselves than in serving customers. They moved at a painfully slow pace and made no effort to hide their disdain for their jobs. When my order finally arrived--after what felt like an eternity--it was a complete disaster. Not only was my burger sloppily thrown together with the wrong ingredients, but the patty was also undercooked and rubbery, posing a potential health risk. The bun was hard and stale, and the entire thing was dripping with some unidentifiable, greasy substance. The fries were stone cold and tasted like cardboard, and my drink tasted like it was watered down. I demanded to speak to a manager, but was met with a sarcastic eye roll. They informed me that the manager was busy. This level of negligence and unprofessionalism is beyond unacceptable--it is dangerous. I am convinced that this Jack in the Box location is not only the worst fast food restaurant I have ever visited, but it may very well be the worst business establishment, period. The health violations alone warrant immediate closure and a thorough investigation. The employees were not even in dress code-which bothered me. Long, untied hair made me worry about getting hair in my food. I do not want to start to think about their hygiene practices. I have already reported this location to the health department and plan to escalate my complaint to corporate headquarters, demanding immediate action and a complete overhaul of staff and management. This establishment is a disgrace to the Jack in the Box brand and to the concept of customer service. Avoid this place at all costs--your health, sanity, and dignity depend on it. I will never return, and I will make it my mission to warn as many people as possible about the horrors that await them at this despicable excuse for a restaurant. read more

Although my favorite "Homestyle Ranch Chicken Club" doesn't quite look like what they advertise (different bun and lettuce), I think they did a great job. Sandwich was hot, fresh & tasted great. The service was fast & friendly. My medium curly fries had regular fries mixed throughout and tasted old and soggy so taking off star for that. read more

Went there with 2 co workers Sunday night my friend ordered the teriyaki bowl. When we got up to the window I asked if it came with a drink or as a meal and the cashier rolled her eyes at us. I was trying to ask her if we could order a egg roll she shut the window on us. I repeatedly honked the horn and she continued to ignore us. I asked if we could speak to a manager or someone in charge and we were told no. I asked her name she wouldn't tell us and she turned around and flipped us off. We didn't get the chicken strips and they gave us a spicy chicken sandwich combo. It's amazing these fast food workers keep wanting more and more money and can't even get an order right. I had bought a teriyaki chicken bowl and there was NOOOOOO teriyaki sauce on it. I was even more pissed because I live an hour away and when I got home and opened my bag you can only imagine how terribly upset I was to have a completely dry flavorless bowl that i paid for. Went to JB cuz we were starving and only had 10 minutes before a doctors appointment. I should say I am not a fan of fast food in general but this baloney takes the cake. We ordered. The intercom screen was broken and the guy could barely hear. I couldn't verify what he took as the order but he DID ask me if I wanted cheese on my spicy chicken sandwich and I said yes. No total, just ok bye. Got to the window and the guy took my card. My phone alerted me what I had been charged but the guy said it was only a partial payment. What?! Never heard of a partial payment at a fast food place. So after going back and forth a few times I said it's fine, I'll dispute it later and paid the additional $8 bucks. The guy looked so offended. He gave me my food, slammed the window and walked away. I had to honk to get him to come back so I ask for ranch dressing, and then again he slammed the window and walked away. I, again, had to honk so I could remind him of our missing drinks. He walked away and got his associate who had to ask what our drinks were (don't they have the order on their screen?), and then took an exorbitant amount of time filling them while chatting with her coworkers. She handed us our drinks while saying, "here are you drinks that you WERE charged for." No shit, we paid for them twice. Then before I could ask for some napkins, since we hadn't gotten any, once again the window was shut in my face and she walked away. My husband said, let's just go, so we left and as we dug into our food, the fries were cold, not even lukewarm, and the spicy chicken sandwich DID NOT have cheese. Why would you even bother asking me if I wanted it if you weren't going to add it on? I wasn't initially mad at them, obviously the machine was messed up as their whole system was, so the aggressive attitude towards me when I was willing to resolve the issue later, without holding up the line wrapping around the building, will never be forgiven. do not go to this Jack in the Box if you want to receive your entire order in a timely fashion. after not getting a jumbo jack meal that we had ordered at the drive thru, we were told to go forward and wait for a shake. So we did. after 18 minutes of waiting, my hubby went inside and waited again. he was given a small shake after he paid nearly $5 for a large one. our receipt showed it was a full 25 minutes from the time we left the drive thru window to finally get his shake. btw, why is a chicken sandwich cheaper than fries there? makes no sense. i gave one star because if you do manage to get food, its good food. just check your order before you leave. twice we have been shorted tacos. this is the only Jack in the Box in our town, so please tell me, do all of their restaurants have such awful service? read more

Seems like they're lazy here. I was ordering tacos for my family. I wanted a order of 12 tacos they were perfectly fine with making 6, once I corrected her about wanting 12 tacos she said: "our tacos are frozen right now" that was fine I said I'll go ahead and take 6, another girl with a masculine attitude said some BS about the tacos being frozen and they couldn't make any right now, I would have to wait an hour. I know for a fact that the tacos are frozen and all they do is toss them in the fryer. Mind you no one was in line and I was the only vehicle there. read more

Possibly the worst jack in the box in america. Old, dirty and busted. They charged me the wrong amount and charged me twice. The manager says to wait a month for a possible refund, possible? then goes on to tell me he does not own the machines and i put the card in and that its a seperate company. Their employee took my card she pushed the buttons, sliding it in and out 100 times. Then took a picture. Pretty sure they were trying to do some fraud on my card...... Negative stars. Probably the single WORST Jack in the box on the planet. Slowest service in the drive thru's - I have been here 3 times at different times of the day, always the same. You could sit down at a restaurant and get food faster. Last time I went, I asked for the Diamondback special, which is a free jumbo jack the day after the Dbacks hit a home run. I literally watched the game and go to the drive thru the next day and ask for a special and I am told, "sorry, the owner says we have none of those available." I've never had a single other Jack in the Box not give out the deal and it's been years. No other explanation or response, just avoid this place and spend your time and money elsewhere. read more

Veteran Friendly! As a veteran myself, I can appreciate when I order a combo meal in the drive thru, then come to the window to pay to have the emplpoyee tell me to hang on a sec, then a minute later the manager appears and, apparently having seen my veteran ballcap and my Navy license plates, says "It's on me, thank you for your service." What a nice surprise! Then later in the week I told my stiory and found out the manager has actually created program here in Show Low (pretty sure it's just this store) that allows veterans one free breakfast a week or 50% any other menu items. They have since given me my punch card and I've used 3 weeks in a row now getting my free breakfasts and they have been delicious and a great way to start the day! I've since tried the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich combo with a hash brown and Dr. Pepper and a Loaded Breakfast sandwich combo with the same, and I have my eye on the breakfast platter for next week! Can't wait to find my way into town again for an excuse to stop by! read more

If I could leave negative stars, I absolutely would. I placed a mobile order for 4 tacos, no lettuce or taco sauce and 6 tacos, no taco sauce, for a total of 10 tacos. When I got home, the bag only contained 2 tacos, no lettuce or sauce and 4 tacos, no sauce. I called the store and spoke to the manager, Hayley, who said she made the tacos herself and she knows all 10 were there. When I explained that I still only received 6 tacos, she said that her cashier remembers bagging them so there was nothing she could do. When I asked her if she was calling me a liar, she said, "no, but I know I'm telling the truth." Then she preceded to hang up on me. I will NEVER return to this Jack in the Box again, which is really unfortunate because it's the only JITB in like a 100 mile radius. This is the worst Jack in the Box ever! Filthy dirty, flies everywhere! I had to cover our food just to get a soda! It took 20 minutes to get our food. We complained to the order taker and showed her the time stamp on the receipt which said 1:43pm, it was 2:10pm by this time. My husband and 2 of his veteran friends, along with other veterans they have met there, have been enjoying the free breakfast offered by the Show Low Jack in the Box for some time. It was nice to see Jack in the Box following suit as we see more and more corporations offering freebies and discounts to the Veterans who fought for and defended our freedom. So as usual the boys went out this morning to join other veterans for their breakfast at Jack in the Box and were told there was new management who does not believe in the program so free breakfast and discounts to veterans has been taken away. A Firefighter heard what was happening and paid for the breakfast for all 3 of our veterans, THANK YOU to that firefighter. SHAME ON YOU Jack in the Box. When so many are moving toward supporting not only this countries veterans but also our First Responders you move in the opposite direction. Our understanding from the staff in Show Low is that they have lost a lot of business just this week because of the new policy, serves you right...You should be ashamed of yourself Jack in the Box!!!! read more
