I wish I could give 0 stars but unfortunately can't. Just came home from getting our late dinner. First of all, going through the drive-thru I had to repeat my order more than 3 times for them to get it correct, then head to the window, waited 5 mins to pay, no one was there except for us, then the worker tonne has a bad attitude, no customer service what so ever! Very cocky, I should have been cocky back!! Disrespectful and should not be working with customers! Jack in the box needs to hire better employees yet the managers should be trained on how to hire employees as well. Never again will I ever in my life order from this jacks again! I don't recommend anyone coming to this jacks, there's more jacks that have better service provided! read more

We just left Applebys car side service. They could not fill our order so we went to J in B. I ordered 2 meals inside at the counter. My husbands was upsized. The counter girl handed me a large cup. . I say can I get my cup. She looks confused. I say I ordered a meal too. She points at the cup. Then suddenly she grabs another large cup. Her coworker an older gentleman says you gave her that cup. She is glazed. He walks over and grabs my regular cup. They had no regular Sprite. The machine keeps flipping to the diet screen. Our order is ready. It's take out. I check it in the car. The french fry bags are not full. I am hungry we drive home. None of the fries have been salted. The fries are not very hot. Disappointing. I give my husband my chicken sandwich since he had ordered one at Applebys and they were out. My double Jack tasted like cardboard. It had absolutely NO flavor or season of any kind. I scramble to find ketchup and of course salt for the unsalted fries. This was a 16 dollar meal. Was very unappetizing. I won't go to this J in B again. read more

I am extremely mad!! I came from the one on oddie Boulevard. An they we're supposed to be open but no they were closed. I was greeted at the drive-up window with the sign saying they are closed for cleaning but I didn't see anybody cleaning inside. So that unfortunately meant I had to drive all the way over to. The new BLT burger is actually really good. Love their curly fries too. They recently remodled this location. I'm noticing a theme with all these new/remodled fast food restaurants, very modern. Service is decent, place is clean. Been here many times before and I'm sure I'll be here many times more! read more

It's usually not to bad there but Saturday October 26th the staff that day was not awful. It was around 10pm and I went thru the drive Thur , when I was going to order the woman just says wait so I'm waiting there in silence for a while then she says "what do you want" (amazing costumer serves;) then I give her my order and she doesn't say anything so I wait there asking if she got it ( no response) then 2 or 3 minutes later she say " are you the one with the 6 tacos " I said yes and the shack and soda " then she says yeah I know, you can go now" (with a very rude Tone) so I go to the moving to the next window wondering what the total is ( because she didn't even tell me :) around 5 minutes later I get to the window and I two Two workers the woman taking orders and a man, the man then asked what did you order besides the tacos, I told him the two other things ( even though she "knew" ) then after the things are ready the women throws the straws and bag at me . I said "thank you " and I got nothing back. She also tosses the drinks at me :). Let just say I was never in any way being rude to this woman so there was no reason for her to act the way she was acting I was even trying to be extra polite so maybe she could act "nicer" but no she kept being rude for no reason. This is the Jack-in-the-Box I usually go to. Typically I would give them a four in rating but today I submitted an app order. The line was into the parking lot, about nine cars ahead of me. I was in line a total of about 1/2 hour, maybe more! Two cars in front of me had space to get out of the line and so they did. I do not know what was happening, maybe the manager was gone and the kids were at play. But every single car that came up to the window had to wait and wait and wait..... I only had one hamburger and cheddar wedges. The outside of the drive-through window could have used a good and thorough scrubbing. Next time before I order via app I will check on how long the line is..... The young man working the window did not seem to know what my order was even though I told him it was an app order along with my name......ugh..... very disappointing this time......They should have given me a free food item for having to wait so long! read more

Today I ordered a chicken teriyaki bowl. However, I ordered it without chicken and added veggies. Once I got home I realized that my bowl had chicken in it and no added veggies. I double checked the receipt to make sure it wasn't my fault but even the receipt said "NO CHICKEN ADDED VEGGIES". I was even charged $0.75 for the veggies. Beware!! My husband and I were here the other night in the drive thru and the girl dropped the ice scooper on the floor and rinsed it and put it back in the ice! Really how gross and a good way to get someone sick. We went in and got our money back and cancelled our order. We will not return to this location. She should of gotten a new clean ice scooper so all the people who ate there that night has dirty ice. I honestly think I will never eat jack in box again after seeing this. I really hope a health inspector comes by here soon! I want to call corporate they need to see all these one star reviews and do something about it it's ridiculous. We stopped by after work 7:15 and the girl at the window did not say anything just gave us the drink no greeting and seemed like she did not care about anything. So first of all no customer service at all. Short 5 churros. The chicken was dry like if they refried it or are just frying in the same oil all day and not changing it out because the chicken looked darker than usual also. Went inside and I think once you see the inside this place speaks for itself it made a lot of sense to us why our order was not up to par. The manager said the fries come that way and we were just in the drive through and we saw them throwing the fries they served us a couple of minutes ago away. Restaurant is filthy!! The manager did not even want to fix our entire order for having to wait longer while our food got cold for them to fix their mistake having us wait. She Just said what I can do is offer you a refund. She clearly didn't care about making us happy having customer service or fixing their mistake. It's called fast food not come back and wait long for us to screw your order up a second time and not care to fix it. Here's your money back don't come here again so we don't have to deal with you. This used to be the only Jack in the Box close to where I lived, so my fiance and I would often stop here on the way to California or after UNR basketball games. In the past few years I've been going, I've noticed their service going down. Their food is still as delicious, but it pays to go out to Spanish Springs now instead of dealing with their service. One time, they didn't even give my fiance a chance to finish our order before telling him to move to the next window. We waited and waited and even said we had more food to add. After 5 minutes, we finally pulled up where we placed our order. They seemed like we were inconveniencing them by wanting to spend more money at their establishment. read more

I can't believe how unprofessional these employees are. When i pulled up to the window the cashier slapped a broom on the window screamed and ran away. I eventually realized there was some type of bug in the window that she was scared of, she decided to open the window and hope it flew out but still didn't acknowledge me. She was taking an order at one point so i understood that but the rest of the time she was screaming and crying over a bug and none of her coworkers were holding her accountable to do her job or taking the initiative to help me while she was incapable. I sat in the drive thru for about 7 minutes before she even told me my total. When she finally said something to me all i got was "$6.92" "sauce?" "bye have a good day" thanks for doing the bare minimum Amanda. No "sorry for the wait" I understand that it's fast food but at least have decent customer service. If you are foolish enough to try here for food on a late night (especially the weekend), then be prepared for long waits in the drive through, your food to be cold, and your order to be wrong. Consistently! Don't bother. They're not the only 24 hr fast food in town but they sure are the WORST. read more

Stopped in to this location yesterday for a quick lunch before my hair appt in the same shopping center. I used to eat here quite often years and years ago, but I haven't eaten at this location in about 5 years. Food was standard JIB. I liked it and the fries were hot, but the service was scattered here. It didn't seem like one hand knew what the other was doing. Plus, it's ghetto! When I walked in, there was a homeless man confronting the staff, and an off-duty cop was stepping in to diffuse the situation. 0_0! Salads are always rotten. Wrong orders. Staff is alway standing around talking. Food is cold. I am always asked to hold on when I am the only car in drive threw. No costumes inside. At 8am. My order is always wrong or missing things. I don't get the condiments I ask for. read more

Drove here the other morning around 12:30am and there were 5 cars waiting to place orders through the intercom. Waited about 10 minutes behind other cars to place my order. When I got to the intercom the employee snapped at me and said: "we are currently short staffed and will not be accepting any more orders." Shocked, I said well it would have been nice to be told that so I didn't waste time waiting. There were several cars in front of me and behind me by this time. I told the employee through the intercom that I couldn't get out because of cars in front of me and in back. He said I needed to wait until they were done helping the cars in front of me. Had to wait in the drive through another 10 minutes (watching the cars in front of me get food) before I was able to drive out, empty handed and very frustrated. Their signs say 24/7 drive through, but go at your own peril and be prepared to be turned away from lack of staffing or some other bogus reason. You'd be better off going elsewhere. read more

Being a night owl I spend a lot of money at Jack in the Box as it's usually the only thing open. I go so often I've gotten acquainted with some of the workers at the MaeAnne location. They're great. However, the other day I was in the sparks area an I was running late an I was so hungry. It was about 2:30 or 3:00 p.m and it wasn't very busy. I ordered my food and handed over my money saying "I only have a fifty I hope that's okay" she didn't say anything. Like not hello or anything. A few moments later she opens the window an says sorry we don't have change for this. So I said okay an started to look for an alternative... I had none. When I told her so she said nothing an closed the window. A second later a manager comes to the window and says "yes?" An I say "what do you mean yes?" An she says "oh she called me over here." As she nods to the cashier an begins to walk away without thinking to ask me how I am what's going on or ANYTHING. so I call after her (since the cashier looked like a deer in the headlights) an said "well I'm just trying to pay an all I have is that fifty." So she says "yeah well we just opened an closed everything (whatever that means) and we need change for the front registers so we can't take that." Now my total was about 15 dollars so my change would have been less then forty dollars. I said "what do you need the change in the front for?" She says "our customers?" So I said "am I not a customer?" She presumed to gawk at me like I'm insane for thinking it's absurd for one of the largest franchises in Reno to not have less then forty dollars in change ! She was so rude ! Both of the girls. I love the employees at the MaeAnne location. They're so nice to me but these ladies were nothing short of a bad attitude an poor money management skills. So I left with no food and had no time after argueing with her to go anywhere else before work. After all the money I spend at Jack in the Box I'm not sure if I'll be returning.
