One of my favorite places to get tacos. I have been coming here for years whenever I need a nearby taco fix. I always order the grilled chicken tacos and ask for the pico and guac. Went to a little taco joint after gym sessions. This little taco shop is next door to the Thai restaurant and inside the gas station, in the right corner of the store as you go in. The line was somewhat little long, their staff members are polite and outgoing. Since I just got back from gym, I needed a small proteins. I ordered 3 streets tacos( carne asada) with no cilantros. This is NOT fast food , which isn't a bad thing if you have time. I went through the drive-thru and ordered a chicken quesadilla (they give you a meat choice!). So I have a rule. I don't eat in any restaurant attached to a gas station. But one day I made an exception here. And I got the chicken taquitos. They were bomb. So I tried the beef taquitos. They were bomb. Really good. So then I tried the bean burrito with rice. Really good. So then I tried the beef burrito, really good. And then I tried the adobado. That was their first knock, it was salty as I'll get out. But tasty as heck too. So slowly but surely I have tried almost everything on the menu and I have to admit this is a pretty good place to eat. If I'm crunched for time and I want something good, I go here. The last thing I got was that bean burrito and it was pretty dang good. So I have an exception on my rule now. Never ending issues with this location and understanding simple orders. We unfortunately will not be returning. Today they made us two carne asada tacos and randomly added guac and pico to them when we didn't ask for it. We've ordered these many times from this location and they've never come with guac and pico. Not to mention all the rest of the items we ordered we specifically asked for no pico or guac. We threw them into the garbage right in front of them and they still refused to remake them. $4.85 for EACH taco directly into the trash and they didn't care at all. I always see this place on my drive home and have been curious to see what it's all about. This taco place is in a gas station with a little drive thru window. Visited on a Friday night, ordered at the drive thru. The guy helping us was struggling to get our orders right. Menu was pretty big, there's different of options to choose from. We ordered Chimichanga, 3 rolled tacos and 3 street tacos. It all looked very delicious, smelled good but was surprisingly disappointed once we tasted it. Meat was bland across the board. They packed us green and red salsa. Green salsa was watered down and the red salsa was sour. But my Tapatio saved the day. The positive Yelp reviews led me to try out this place, but yikes, it wasn't good. I felt bad that I suggested that three of my friends join me for lunch here. It took our meals a long time to come out, and they were finished at different times. My meal wasn't tasty at all, and I'm not a picky eater. The booths were very narrow. Even though we are four normal weight folks, we were packed into our booth like sardines. Ordering was also confusing, because their wall of specials has two lists of numbered items. I ordered delivery through the hubbub app and they probably have on of the most extensive delivery menus I've ever seen. The delivery was Fast and my order was 100% which doesn't always happy so right off the bat, I had a good feeling about this restaurant. First I tried the rice which was delicious, moist, and really flavorful. I got a side order which was really small and I wish I would have gotten a lot more. The fish taco had lots of fish, which was crispy and moist and really flavorful but the pico had lots of onions. The crispy tacos I ordered were all a little bland and dry. But the ground beef was my favorite, they sauté veggies in with the beef which made it a little sweet. The shredded beef was flavorful but the tortilla shell was bland and the chicken taco was all around really dry and bland. I wish I would have gotten a soft taco to taste against the crispy shells to see if they were any better. Overall, ordering was really convenient and the pricing was really good so I think I would order again. Having driven by the Nevada Taco Grill almost on a daily basis, got me thinking that some of the best under rated businesses are those "hidden gems". From the outside, there are very little in way of fancy graphics or marketing - this restaurant does share its space with the Vista Mart gas station. So basically, if you eat with your eyes, you will not consider Nevada Taco Grill but I for one - eat with my mouth so could care less about the looks. My first give it a try experience was with my wife. As we were driving up Baring, I mentioned that I would like to try Nevada Taco Grill out. Since it was near lunch and we didn't have plans - it was game on! Going through the drive through, the first thing you notice, as others have mentioned is the extensive menu. For a relatively small restaurant, they sure have plenty of options! My go to when dining Mexican food is carnitas burritos. My wife, chicken burritos. So we ordered one of each. The food is definitely made to order as it took about 4 or 5 minutes from placing our order to receiving our food at the drive thru. This is not your typical fast food joint. It may speed things up if you call ahead but not too far ahead so your food is fresh. Now onto the food, that's why you are here right? Carnitas is roasted pork, so it shouldn't be mushy or too dry. My burritos was slightly on the wet side (most likely from the pico de gallo and guacamole) and there wasn't any charred meat until I got about half way. Not a deal breaker but with the charred meat you get some of that smoky flavor. There was no rice or beans which was surprising. You are getting your fill of protein here for sure! My wife's chicken burrito was similar in that there wasn't any rice or bean filler but shredded grilled chicken breast, bell peppers and onions. That's it. Chicken breast can be dry if over done but this was on the money and was packed with quite a bit. For a mild salsa try their green. If you prefer something with more punch the red will be worthy for your taste buds. Would we go again? You bet and looking forward to their Taco Tuesdays! read more

My food was made to order with high quality ingredients. Both the chicken and the carnitas burritos were excellent. Neither burritos had rice so it was packed with protein. Other places use rice as a filler so you don't get much protein. I prefer white meat chicken which was used in the burrito. I wasn't expecting much from this place but it far exceeded my expectations. Good value and priced right for an affordable meal. Ordered online from here the other night. I showed up on the time it said it would be ready and the workers had no clue what I was talking about. They look at a tablet and say "ok one minute". They then proceeded to hand me one burrito, which I never ordered. I literally had to explain to them everything I ordered and show them the online receipt. They give me the order finally after 45 minutes and it was still missing another damn item as well as a bunch of sour cream on one of the meals which I specifically said I didn't want So I simply said, give me a bag of chips to make up for the debacle, and I'll go on my way. I have noticed lately the number of little eateries popping up in gas stations but always been a little bit leery. You know the knock on "gas station sushi" etc. But if you let the location of this place get in the way of a visit you would be mistaken. I have to confess I LOVE TACOS. But on my visit I opted for a burrito (I think it was carne asada). The thing was huge and I should have stopped halfway through and saved the rest for later but well, you know.
