If could give no stars I would. Place gave me a card board chicken sandwich cold curly fries and some burnt Jalapeño poppers. I live a few block down the street, parked my car at my home and checked my food before I went up to my apartment. This is when I noticed the food was not satisfactory. I went right back to have this location fix my food considering I spent over 20 dollars for food for myself that was prepared poorly. Get back to the drive through window and the same young guy was at the window still that took my order initially. I explained to him the situation of my food not being up to par and he told me that I didn't just come through the drive trough. I replayed of course I did, I just seen you five minutes ago you check the receipt of the past few order and you will see that I was just here . He basically continued to call me a liar and at this point I was very frustrated, so I stopped being so nice. I told him check my food check the receipt check the time what ever you have to do, I just simply want my food replaced. At this point you can sense the frustration in my voice. Then this african american lady which was the manager came to the window and interrupted lashing out at me, stating that I shouldn't talk to a minor like that and bla bla bla. I explained to her the situation and she still didn't seem to understand this situation was not tended to professionally. She stated sir pull up to the front door, I don't want to hear what you have to say I will replace your food. So not only they have minors helping at the drive through window, they have managers that shouldn't have any oversight responsibilities. The lack of common sense and professionalism at this location is appalling. I will never eat at jack in the box again do to this experience. The owner of this franchise has a lot of issues on his hands and really needs to grab the reins and get some proper training in place because situations like this can be detrimental to business . This location already has a 2 star rating, you would think some on would step in and say enough is enough.... read more

The most basic part of their job is to follow direction. It is so simple. They are unable to do that here. This place is terrible. I come here out of convenience but it always ends up being an inconvenience because they always find a way to mess something up. PAY ATTENTION TO DETAIL!!!!! And these rejects want $15 an hour ? I have a 30 minute lunch time and Ive waited in line more than 3 times for more than 30 minutes and have left feedback each time with corporate witb no response. Theres always a particular cashier that works drive through, I always think shes checking me out ha ha ha or maybe its just me! Anyways, I've always recieved fast service here especially through drive-thru since I hardly ever get out of my car! The location is great- its right off the 94 when you exit Sweet Water Springs. I don't want to even give this particular Jack in the Box a star at all but I don't have that option. I went to this Jack in the Box on 3 separate occasions with the same results. Terrible!! When I ordered at the drive thru window they couldn't hear a word I was saying. I even screamed out my order to the top of my lungs. I ordered breakfast for my mother in law and her sausage burrito was spoiled and they mixed up my bacon biscuit with a sausage biscuit I asked for them to correct it and the gave me the same sandwich with sausage residue on it instead of actually make the sandwich over. Before I begin, let me just say that I am not criticizing Jack in the Box in general, I am telling about this particular location. The food was great, as usual, but the service was horrible. First of all, at the drive thru, I had to get out of my car so they could hear me properly. Even then, they still couldn't hear me, which is my second point. Instead of giving me 2 burgers, they gave me 5 and still charged me for it. They plainly got the order wrong. Instead of giving me 3 medium lemonades, they gave me 2 medium lemonades and one large one. I also asked for 4 chicken tenders grilled, but they gave me chicken nuggets and 5 chicken tenders fried. This is definitely one of the worst Jack n the Box restaurants to visit if you've come for tacos. They are regularly out of the items I come for. I am a huge fan of the tacos... but here they will stuff them with so much lettuce that it tastes as if the meet was used to top it instead of the other way around. The service is rather quick and recent remodel does the location some visual justice so I can give an extra star for effort. Everything else is rather Jack in the Boxish so you can't really mess that up. Customer service is the same. Meh... nothing that separates it from most locations. read more

Pay with cash check your food! I went to the drive thru last night and watched the cashier give two bags of food, free food mind you, to the car in front of me. Free because I didnt see the guy in vehicle hand currency to cashier. My total was under 3 bucks, of course I wasnt offered a receipt and checking my account today I was charged 10 bucks for something less than 3. Either they're charging other people for free food they give to friends or they're just overcharging. Stay away or use cash. read more

This is our quick stop before getting on the freeway for school. The only good thing about Jack in the Box is breakfast. Everything else is Jack in the Crack, as in you must be smoking crack if you like their food. Just gross! The croissant sandwiches are buttery and flaky, but a little pricey for the size. Hash browns are always greasy to perfection. If you're going through the drive thru ignore the first menu board. My first time I stopped there and waited forever not realizing the speaker is not located there. Apparently the mechanism that lets the employees know someone is in the drive thru was either not working or they just enjoyed ignoring me. I finally drove up to the window and was scolded for not ordering on the right spot. I don't eat fast food that often so my bad for being a little fast food illiterate. I love me some Jack in the Box but this location is THE WORST. It has come to the point where I will drive all the way to the La Mesa one because I know that they aren't out of everything, my order will be fresh and hot, and the employees (mostly managers) aren't jerks. This location is closest to my house so I will end up here when I don't want to drive out of my way, but every time, I leave pissed off. My food is always cold, which I don't understand because the place is always busy. And don't even think about going to this location before work. You'll end up sitting in your car waiting for your food for over 20 minutes. And late night meal? They will most likely be out of something you want. It's not just me, Every time I do end up here, theres usually at least 2 other people who have screwed up and/or cold orders complaining while I am there. read more

Around 4:30am I went all the way back to ask if they could give me fresh fries because the ones I had were dark and old. The worker with curly hair and colored eyes argued that he was the one who made the fries and they were fresh. He asked for my receipt and threw it away. The other worker didn't bother to help either. Pointless attitude. I don't even want to eat them. I can only imagine what he was thinking. I don't think I deserve the attitude.
