Work was done with care and they laid down protective paper as they worked and vacuumed up when finished, leaving everything pristine. I contacted two other low-voltage/networking companies before Wiztec and it was a mess: flaky scheduling, no-shows, refusal to visit the site, or acting like the request was "too hard" -- specifically once I mentioned CAT8 cable runs. One company essentially refused the job outright. (yeah yeah I know the speil about CAT8 overkill for a residential job but that's outside the scope of this conversation.) Wiztec was the opposite: they were professional, showed up, and treated the project like adults. Important context: Because this was a remodel, my GC ran the CAT8 cables in-wall, so Wiztec didn't do the physical cable pulling. But Wiztec handled the part that actually determines whether your network performs correctly: CAT8 terminations (jacks / keystones) Hardware procurement (they got the right gear -- no "random Amazon stuff") Camera install Full configuration + validation to ensure the network worked end-to-end at expected speeds And the best part: they didn't just install and disappear. They made multiple visits to make sure everything was correct and stable: Visit 1: Daniyar -- adjusted cabling / prep details Visit 2 (main install): Aidos + Vitaly Final visits (wrap-up): Aidos + Daniyar Huge shoutout to Aidos, who even came out solo to finish work and make sure everything was done right. I had Carlos and his team assemble our European style kitchen cabinets. They were made of finished…read morewood and lacquer cabinets. We sent our kitchen assembly instructions ahead of time to make sure they were aware. My overall sense is that Carlos is fairly capable and experienced but either his team or him are not as careful as we had damages to our finished wood toe kicks and our lacquer cabinets looked like they had been dragged over nails as they were being assembled. I didn't appreciate that they made 0 mention of it at all and I had to point it out. As the homeowner, I essentially had to baby sit them for 5 days through the install since it felt like they were incapable / unwilling to read the kitchen cabinet installation instructions in detail and I caught several mistakes early on during the cabinet assembly that made me hesitant to leave it unattended. Carlos's attitude was particularly bad through the entire experience as well. Always made it seem like we were inconveniencing him or being too nit picky even if we caught some mistakes. At one point, he even threatened to quit after the assembly but before the installation simply because he had underestimated the complexity of the project. We did have a 1 day delay due to some plumbing / electrical issues but that's pretty typical as far as kitchen cabinet installations go AFAIK. In the end, they were able to get all the kitchen cabinets installed, albeit with a lot of effort from my end due to the more custom nature of the project. The price was affordable and the work was solid (minus the scratches) but for me the bad attitude wasn't worth it.

My home is an upper unit of a 2 unit, 115 year old building in the Castro. You can see from the photos below that Gregory did a beautiful professional job on my project, working with the architect/designer who had suggested the built-ins, and responding to my particular requests. Fitting new cabinetry into an old wooden building required a lot of customization during installation, and Gregory was definitely up to the task - as mentioned by other reviewers he is easy to work with, creative, flexible, with an "incredible eye." He did all the installation and finishing himself (with a helper). To be fair, it took Gregory longer than he had estimated to make and install the cabinetry, but it was definitely worth the wait and he was very responsive and obliging throughout the process. The quality and value were top notch; the cost was about 50-60% that of the estimates I received from online cabinetry firms I contacted. Definitely a 5 star experience - thank you Gregory!

He is so incredibly easy to work with, creative, flexible, and has an incredible eye. He got a feel for our taste and made the benches fit aesthetically in our space seamlessly. It was not an easy thing to install either with the angles of the apartment. We could could tell it required a lot of skill and patience. We cannot imagine our space without them now. The bookcases on each side of the center chest piece was his idea too and it was such a clever use of space and it looks great. Truly, we cannot recommend him enough for his skill, taste, and he's really just the nicest guy. If we could get ten stars we would!! And his partner is awesome. They are the greatest team.

I used A2Z Remodeling for renovating my kitchen in 2025, and highly recommend them…read more I chose to contact them because of their great reviews on Yelp. In the initial meeting with Project Manager Yves, he walked me through the process and answered my many questions. This was all very helpful as I have never done a kitchen reno before, and Yves demonstrated his knowledge and "can do" attitude. Yves also mentioned that the crew working on my kitchen would be dedicated to my project until it was done, a big plus in my opinion. After this meeting I felt reasonably confident that A2Z Remodeling was a good choice. Prior to contacting A2Z I had gotten quotes from a few cabinet makers, thinking that A2Z would only provide general contractor services. But A2Z also has a cabinet design service, so they provided a quote. The design created by A2Z's designer, Marissa, was great so I had no concerns there. However, the quote was less pricey than all the other quotes and I then spent lots of time researching cabinet construction, trying (with limited success) to compare the quality of the materials used in the different bids. A2Z's cabinet supplier is Kraftview out of San Leandro, and ultimately, I went to their showroom in San Leandro to inspect the cabinets in person which and that alleviated all my concerns, they looked great and were very high quality (plywood construction, soft close, full extension drawers, etc.). I am very happy I chose A2Z to supply the cabinetry, for two big reasons: 1) Their supplier, Kraftview, is local, so fast turnaround. Some of the other quotes were for cabinets manufactured overseas and it would take months to get them. And if there were any problems, months to get replacements. And indeed, there was a couple problems with cabinets that needed correction and A2Z was able to get things fixed with only a small delay to the project. 2) A2Z was fully responsible for the cabinets: They took the measurements, did the design, ordered them, and installed them. If there were any problems or unexpected issues they took care of it. Whereas if another company was supplying the cabinets I expect I would have had been a lot more involved in resolving issues. One example is that when the demolition of the old kitchen was done, there was an unexpected pipe sticking out of the wall which we had not accounted for in the cabinet design, A2Z took care of it. Another example is that one of the cabinet fronts had some slight damage on it and A2Z had it replaced, I didn't even know about that until Yves mentioned it after the fact. The cabinet design process went really well. Marissa was fantastic to work with. Her design was great out of the gate and she was very open to iteration, mainly me changing little nitpicky things, then sometimes realizing it was a bad idea and changing it back. I visited their showroom in Oakland many times and it was really nice to be able to talk things over in person with her, and she gave me a ton of great suggestions. The crew working on the job were top notch. As promised, it was the same crew for the entire time and they took care of everything: Demolition, Plumbing, Electrical, Inspections, Floor Installation, Cabinet Installation, Appliance Installation, Painting, Lighting. They were careful to keep things clean and not damage floor, doors or anything. They abided by the HOA rules, and I received no complaints from my neighbors. Along the way there were small hiccups and bumps, but nothing major and A2Z would take care of it. One example was that some of the cabinets arrived missing the grooves needed to install the LED lights, there were a few options on how to proceed and I thought we could make one of the lesser options works, but Yves convinced me that we shouldn't take shortcuts and we took them back to the factory to get properly fixed. Yves and the crew were very focused on making the whole process as smooth as possible and making sure I was happy with the results. Highly recommended!
