I had to remove my prior 5-star review of this place because they not only never finished part of a job they started for me 9 months ago, they are completely unable to return messages of any kind (voicemail, text, email -- I tried them all). Several years ago they installed a pump for me and were very responsive and reasonable, which I greatly appreciated. A year ago they installed a water storage tank for me, but screwed up my pump's gauge and did a total mickey-mouse job on the tank's electrical wire cover, using tape to cover part of the wires. They said they'd wait for the tank to settle and come back to affix a proper wire cover. I waited 7 months before contacting them to ask that it be taken care of -- after leaving 3 or 4 messages, I gave up. I had another company take care of things which, of course, means I had to pay for something that Sissel should've fixed for free. Whatever. I'm just glad it's done, glad I found a better, more responsive company, and glad to not be doing business with such immature unprofessionals. read more

Agree with another reviewer " That is either inexperience or pure incompetence to not have done their due diligence to make sure that the system was fully functional before they left. "I had the same experience. They replaced a pump for ~$3K (not sure that was even the problem at this point) and left. They didn;t turn the pressure pump back on (after I had mentioned several times it had been malfunctioning) nor did they prime the holding tank so even if everything was turned back on the system would have failed again. Called Luciano Pump in Healdsburg. They did what should have been done which was check the entire system and they even found a leak that Tyler and brother failed to detect. Prompt service but you will get expensive replacements that may or may not be needed and you may still not have a functioning system. My family and I just moved to our new property in February. Three days ago our well pump went out so we decided to call the number that was on the pump. We have no shower, no running water in our home, no water for our pigs or chickens and have just planted thousands of dollars worth of landscaping and never received a call back. Outstanding emergency service. Both of our water pumps died due loss of system integrity. Tyler came out early Sunday morning to install a temporary pump and got the water pressure back up. After telling this company several times that I thought the system wasn't put in correctly - with such a small pressure pump that it turns on each and every time water is turned on - they said it was fine and didn't change it. I was very impressed with their service. My tenant called me with a problem stating his pressure tank was leaking and not getting any water pressure. I gave Jack Sissel a call and he sent his grandson, Tyler out within the hour to check out the problem. They went ahead and replaced the pressure tank and left the bill at my property next door. The problem was fixed within the hour and my tenant had good running water again. This is the second time they were quick like that. A few months back I had a problem with a different rental where my tenants had no water. Jack had it fixed within a few hours and they were back and running again with water. Great service. My pump failed late Friday night. I called early Saturday morning, and Tyler responded within the hour. He got us working but indicated that the pump was apparently failing. He and his partner Dustin were our early this morning. In less than 1 1/2 hours, the replaced the pump, 100' feet of pipe, and a control unit - very professionally and at a fair price. I had a malfunctioning pump at my rental property and called Jack Sissel for service. They did responded promptly and sent Tyler out to look at the problem and he did initially restore water on the property. However, a few hours after Tyler left, he called me around 4pm and told me that my tenants were still reporting issues with the water and that he won't be going back out until 8am the next day to look at the issue. Two hours later, when all my tenants got home and needed to use water there was no water and I had to scramble to call Tyler and beg him to go back out that night to fix the issue. So having known that there was a potential issue around 4pm, they refused to go back to look at it until the next day and then later I had to beg them to go back out to fix the issue (and pay the emergency rate) because either I was going to pay my tenants to stay in a hotel that night or pay them for emergency service to fix the problem that night. That is either inexperience or pure incompetence to not have done their due diligence to make sure that the system was fully functional before they left. When I called the owner to talk about this experience, his response was rude and full of expletives. He sweared at me with some expletives before I even had a chance to speak and he hung up on me. This is a business that lacks class and professionalism. If you are calling Jack Sissel out for service be prepared to pay them to go out multiple times because they may not fix all your issues all at once. read more
