This is my first time going to the Jiffy Lube on Shillington Rd (Sinking Spring PA). I know that each Jiffy Lube is an individually-owned franchise, but there really should be a standard of professionalism and service across the board. I've used Jiffy Lube for the better part of 15 years in the DMV, Miami, Boston, and Philadelphia. This is by far the worst experience that I've ever had within one of their establishments. The customer service was appalling, and I operate in a customer service business, so I know the importance of being able to relay information and temper your personal feelings. I initially came there for an oil change and inspection for one car (car-1) as well as an inspection only for the second car (car-2). We decided to do the inspection of the car-2 first and in that process, I was told that my relatively new windshield wipers (purchased 8 months prior) needed to be replaced because "windshield wipers are only good for five months." They informed me that there were two streaks on my window after using the blades. Based off of the state requirements, I asked the employee if the streak was still present after 5 cycles, based on state requirements. He ignored that statement and replied that "Streaks are not safe for the road, and we're going to have to fail your inspection. We do have wiper blades that you can purchase. The cheapest is $19.99 each." I asked if I could bring in wiper blades at the same price but higher quality, and they informed me that they cannot wait for any length of time. If I were to bring in wiper blazes, they would fail the inspection and I could wait at the back of the line to be reconsidered for later today. At that point, I accepted the overcharge and paid my tab of $191 for state inspection. Of course, I did not have car-1 inspected at this place. I believe the $191 cost was a discount because it saved me future money being spent on this establishment. I do not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I would avoid. Workers are rude and try to up charge at every available opportunity. Told me I need to rotate my tires because the tread on my tires was lower on the front tires. When I told them I just bought new front tires the month before they said sorry we made a mistake. They totally try to take advantage of people. read more

Brought my car for inspection and an oil change. All work that needed to be done to pass the inspection was done the same day. But, I had to come back a different day to get the stickers bc they said I needed to "drive it around a little first" for some light to go off or something related to emissions. Ok, annoying but ok. So a week later I return. Still won't give me the stickers bc I hadn't driven around enough. Ok, annoying but ok. Went back after the holidays and before the 30 days were up and still won't give me the stickers for 2 reasons. The techs go home at 5:00pm and there was no one still around to do it even though they're open until 7:00pm. The second reason was that I hadn't driven 100 miles before coming that same day. Not once did anyone tell me in any of my prior trips for the same inspection that I had to drive a 100 miles on the same day I bring the car back for the stickers. I've never heard of this before in the 35 years I've been driving. Not once did they say it had to be before 5:00 for the techs to be there even though they're open til 7:00. Again, all the work to pass inspection was done a month ago and was paid for during that first visit. So now, I have to take off work last minute bc the 30 days is up tomorrow, drive a 100 miles before they open at 8:00am so I can try for a FOURTH time to get stickers put on my car--hopefully. I do not recommend this place for inspections. read more

They are honest and helpful. Their mechanics are ASE certified. They would have replaced the struts and passed our Subaru's inspection for about $600. The other auto place scammed me into paying over $2000 for something that wasn't necessary!!! read more

Brought my car in once for an oil change, which they did quite quick, but not even 5 mins after i left the parking lot my car had an issue where it jerked a lot and wouldn't excel and had to get my car towed back to them, they said it was an issue they didn't cause. fast forward months later i need an oil change like ASAP and figured id go, i get my oil change pretty quick again, the second i go to drive out of the parking lot i have the same issue just not as bad, i take it back and had to explain to the one mechanic multiple times the issue because he just seemed to not be understanding, then a different mechanic figured it out and told me water somehow got in my car, i've never had an issue like that before with oil changed from my normal car place and would love to know how one gets water in my engine. overall don't go there. they tend to also talk to younger women like they don't know anything read more

They checked my car. I requested new breaks. they INSISTED they didn't need to be changed. But instead ran up a bill on other stuff I could do myself. Breaks failed on my car, break pads fell right off. luckily while I was parking. do not go here if you value your life. read more

Zero stars I went in for an oil change only for them to pull out my cabin air filter and they mangled it I felt like I had no choice at that point but to pay the 50 bucks for them to replace it. After my oil change was done they said they didn't have one in stock to replace it so I had to go across the street to auto zone to buy one for 17.99 and now figure out how to replace it myself. My boyfriend called in later on obiously upset and got nowhere. He told the manager here he was going to call corporate and the manager said quote unquote "as long as you do t call my mother I'm going to have a happy day". This place has the most piss poor customer service and I can only imagine how many people on a weekly basis that they take advantage of and that is very very sad. Please don't take your vehicle here. I really really wish I had looked at the Google and Yelp reviews prior to taking my vehicle there. read more

I have been a customer of Jiffy Lube for over 5 years...during that time they have serviced my Chrysler Pacifica, and Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid...and I have noted a pattern that has greatly distressed me, when I brought my Pacifica in for inspection I was told I needed Rotors and Pads, So I replaced then myself, brought it back it passed inspection, shortly later, I heard a grinding and thumping, somehow the lower brake caliper mounting bolt was missing, so I had to fix it...then continued on...a year later, literally the same sequence of events tool place, right down to the Caliper mounting bolt missing....this time I suspect that it's retaliation for not allowing them to do my brakes at thier inflated prices....in order to pass inspection, so I stopped going to them for a period of time. Now I have a new Toyota Rav4 hybrid, I had all the exact same events happen 1/30/2023. This is the 3rd Time I trusted Wyomissing Jiffy Lube to help with my car, the 3rd time I did my own brakes, they passed the inspection, and the 3rd time the Lower Caliper Mounting bolt Magically dissapears from my car... read more

I brought my car here for an inspection back in 2020. I live 4 minutes down the road... FOUR MINUTES... they check my car and proceed to tell me they can't pass it because my brakes don't work along with a few other issues. I was advised not to leave because my car was not drivable. at this time, I was a 20 year old girl... they tried to charge me $1,000 to repair those things INCLUDING paying for my inspection. I refused to get my car "fixed" by them and only paid for the inspection. As I drove off to take my car to a family member with a car maintenance shop, my brakes indeed did not work. I was not able to use my brakes and had to drive 12 minutes with no brakes as a 20 year old girl... who lived FOUR MINUTES away from this Jiffy Lube. I never felt more embarrassed and hassled in my entire life. My cousins proceed to tell me that my brake line seemed to be cut. it HAD to be jiffy lube... thanks for reading. read more

asked for air in my tire I work at a different jiffy lube so I know they are suppose to fill the tires up to whatever the customer recommends he turned me away on basically an empty tire which is a big safety issue and told me to go to wawa because i wanted more air then what's recommended on my plaque but I don't have stock wheels that's why I told him what pressure to put it at. I'll start from the beginning for some background. I had my PA state inspection testing done at this location back in August. Upon being told I "didn't need an appointment" I proceeded to wait an hour, with my child. During the visit, the man at the counter confused me completely with another woman, and took down ALL my information and even showed me a dirty air filter, before realizing that he was completely mixed up. I was literally the only other woman in the shop. After passing my inspection, a couple of weeks later my windshield needed replaced. I was told by the windshield technician to simply take the piece of windshield with the stickers on it back to the garage and they will issue me new stickers. Easy right? Fast forward to today, I drive into the lot to see it full of cars. A man comes up to the window, asks how he can help me and then proceeds to tell me he can't. They are booked solid for the remainder of the day and I'll have to come back tomorrow. I proceed to tell him I already had the service performed, I just needed a new sticker. He told me I "Couldn't cut in line" and "How would I feel if someone came up and wanted to butt in front of me in line and delay my service" I said that if the person already had their service done and just needed a quick fix, I wouldn't mind at all, especially if I was already waiting all day like everyone else! I asked if I could make an appointment to come back and he responded "We don't take appointments, I recommend coming back at 8am tomorrow" I asked if I needed to come back here or if I can go anywhere, and he responded "Yes, it HAS to be here, that's the STATE LAW ma'am" Well guess what, I looked up the law when I got home and that's absolutely NOT THE CASE. I called a local shop and they were happy to help me right away, because it literally only will take them a second of time, and they weren't even the ones I original had service with. This facility made me feel like a complete idiot, and an inconvenience for just wanting a replacement sticker THAT THEY ALREADY ISSUED TO ME. I've been a pretty reliable Jiffy Lube customer for many years across multiple cars. I will not be coming back to this location again. A year ago, my wife's Chevy Malibu needed a light changed at around 100k miles. The Malibu is dumb in that the bumper needs to be removed to replace the light. I paid $123 dollars in labor and paid for them to replace both lights so I wouldn't have to pay for labor again when the other side would go out. Today, a year and 20k miles later, the light on the other side went out. I understand GM cars in particular can develop electrical problems, but we aren't having any other electrical issues. I don't believe they replaced the second headlight and I told the counter guy so. I had the receipt showing that I had replaced both lights just a year ago at this location, but the guy tells me that if it is on the receipt then they did the work. He also says they don't warranty lights. Then he tells me that it will cost $200 to remove my bumper, a 30 minute job, instead of the $124 I paid a year ago. I told him I wouldn't pay more than the price I paid last year and, "amazingly enough", he immediately came down to the $124. I've now paid $150 twice to replace the same headlight within the same 13ish month period because this place is full of shady dudes looking for any angle to screw you. read more

Worst place ever . Went their before my vacation. Told them oil change only leave my filters alone . Guess who can't listen ,JIFFY LUBE .So they pulled my air filter out and told them I told you I will clean my own k & n filter .so they go put it back in backwards forcing it in breaking the clip and air box. Tried to fix own my own not wanting them to touch it . So along trip motor light comes on , I had to stop in WI . 1000 + bucks later at the Toyota its fixed . An absolute joke - I take my car there for a "no appointment inspection" and they make me wait 30 minutes to even pull the car in (only one other car being worked on of the 3 available stations) Takes over an hour for the inspection (whatever) but I had to get 3 things done to pass. I'm told I can come back whenever to get it re inspected. I come back on Tuesday (a few days later) and they inform me that they only do re-inspections from 8-5 and on the weekends. Just a waste of a time and gas. I'll not be going back again. read more

This location has sloppy workers who drag oil and grease threw vehicles. I had oil all over my 2020 chevy Malibu. I have pictures showing how sloppy of a mess they left in my car. I need the number to the local management to complain. Never again will I come back to jiffy lube. I had my car detailed before going over and it was not messed up until I took it to jiffy lube. They tracked oil abd grease threw my car on the steering wheel abd Calum , arm rest on the dash and on my clean rugs on the driver side and smeared it across my door. I don't know what kind of graduated folks from vo tech theybhired but this was a hot mess. My clean car has grease marks all over my driver side door and my flooring and the dash who the hell do u get oil and grease on the dam dash explain that to me . No one wore booties on the shoes or put any kind of mat paper down also they scratched up my car with their logo cover mat look I spent 105.95 on a oil change I had to spend a extra 50 -65: dollars to get it cleaned so I am out additional funds . These people are like bull crap when it comes to covid they did not even have their masks on right. Anyways never again will I take my expensive car to jiffy lube their over priced and they are sloppy mechanics. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Awful customer service plain and simple. I was the first one there and the last one out. The only reason I knew what the holdup was is because I asked. Trying to sell me an air filter they didn't even have in stock and then not telling me a "parts" guy is bringing a new one. After 45 minutes go by, the parts guy never showed. What did show was the look of death I was giving the guy at the counter until he finally gave up and checked me out. No discount. No sorry. No nothing. I'm giving them 2 stars because to be fair, they usually do a great job and are nice people. However today, 3 days after getting my brake pads and rotors replaced, i finally decided to check out what that new "noise" was coming from my driver side wheel well. I looked inside and right above my wheel hanging from my shocks was a big 'ol metal hook about 12" long dangling there. I called and they explained the mechanic left it there while working on the brakes. I explained how this is the van we takes our kids on vacations with. One big bump in the road and the hook would unhook and either get stuck in my brakes or blow out our tire. I took the hook back to them. You can't avoid human error, but nonetheless it's still unsettling. read more

This place is a joke! Is there an option for zero stars? Came here for an inspection and was told my car needed breaks, rotors, and wiper blades for the cost of $471. I left and bought the parts for $80! Came back today to get just the sticker put on now since I had the repairs done elsewhere. They pulled another inspection in before me even though I was there first and my job was a 5 min. Sticker job. Then as I'm sitting here waiting for 45 min. Michael the guy at the desk basically tells everyone they needs air filters, wipers, low on coolants, tires rotated, etc. Unreal!!!! Beware and do not go there!! SCAM!!!
