We came here on a Tuesday early afternoon and didnt have any issues finding parking. We came in through a side entrance and that was a little confusing but we figured it out. A decent amount of seating inside and it looks like there's a 2nd level seating as well. Unknown if there's any outdoor seating. We ordered a flight of beer. They were out of the Blackberry Wheat so we ordered the Foggy Doo, Donkey Lime Pie Sour, Mules Milk Stout & Dumbass. I really liked the Mules Milk Stout as it wasn't overwhelming. Definitely get the caramel. The Dumbass was a little milder and definitely a smooth, easy to drink Porter. The Sour had a good lime flavor. We also ordered the Yummy Baby Cabbage with a balsamic glaze. Well cooked and pretty good. Friendly and attentive service and would recommend.

We were so hungry after our 3.5 drive, that we didn't take any pictures of our food! But we very much enjoyed our meals - wings, mac and cheese, a burger, and Cobb salad. Everything was well prepared and tasty. Our server was very friendly and informative about all of the specials. There's plenty of tables and bar seats and the ambiance is very clean and cozy. The beer is AWESOME! And the best part is that you can have any beer and any amount of beer canned to take home. We got 4 different drafts - two IPAs and two sours that were very well balanced! We wish they sold Jackass near where we live in NJ :( would definitely come back when in the area!

Very good gastropub with excellent food and service. The only downside is that parking could be an issue during the warm season due to limited parking next to the restaurant

My companion and I visited Jackass' Williamsport PA location on a whim while in town running errands. We were duly impressed by this addition to Williamsport's healthy beer scene. The brewery is a nicely rehabbed industrial space with lots of exposed brick and other details that make this a well-designed and welcoming space. Despite the industrial vibe the noise level was not overwhelming. The brewery leans into their puckish "jackass" theme with cleverly named beers and menu items. As a first-timer I tried a flight of beers with a couple of IPAs, a Pilsner, and a porter. All were solid selections (definitely liked the Wilpo 1 IPA) and a range of styles. For food, we ordered the "Just the Fries" appetizer (included in my photos) which was a big honking' bowl of well-prepared fries with salt and white pepper. We also ordered queso dipping sauce, which was tasty but mild--little of the queso zip we anticipated. The rest of the menu looked decent with many of the usual American pub favorites which we'll explore on a future visit. We sat at the bar and our bartender (Destiny) was friendly and efficient. Topic switch: the bathrooms were modern and IMMACULATE. Jackass is a great stop if you're in Williamsport and (if you're a beer fan) walking distance from a couple of local brewpubs which I also recommend and have reviewed on Yelp.

Food and service was on point! We arrived around 7:00 pm and chose to sit at the bar. Destiny and Sam were our servers and did an amazing job. We skipped right past the appetizers and dug straight into the entree's. The Mac-n-cheese with jerk chicken was delicious. The dry rub chicken wings with mild sauce was one of the best I've had. The Old Man Winter cocktail was a delight and there were several beers to choose from. Both of us finished the night off with a local rye whisky, Big Springs Spirits. If we're ever back in this neck of the woods, we will be back! Definitely recommended 15/10!

A kind of expensive stop for meh food and beer. Staff were amazing, so I feel slightly bad for a critical review. ---------------------------- Parking/ This started off the experience rocky for our vehicle. There seemed to be no specific parking dedicated to the brewery. There seemed to be a lot next door for the bank, but there was tons of signage saying it was for the bank, and others would be towed. There seemed to be street parking, but tons of signs saying no parking, loading zones, etc. After three trips around the block settled on the bank since it was Sunday. Had this been any other day, I could have seen us giving up and going elsewhere. Ambiance/ Very brewery-esque with tanks, natural vibes, etc. There was a live jazz trio playing who sounded lovely, but I just wasn't in the mood to try to talk over music, and asked to be moved further away. It seemed like the general feel, many were sat in main bar area, and asked to move back. Staff/ Every single staff member was super friendly, helpful, prompt, and trying to make your experience go well, so super shout out to the staff. Food/ We were stopping through the area around lunch time, so we didn't need anything crazy, but if you weren't getting breakfast or a burger, there wasn't much else. We both ordered a burger (All American and the breakfast/fried egg one). The All-American was good and I upgraded to fries. Breakfast burger was "good enough" I'm told. The chips that come with the burgers are just bagged kettles chips and not homemade. Beers/ We actually came in thinking we weren't going to drink, but were suckers for trying new things. Husband had an IPA and I had a fruited sour. Neither of us liked our beers, and I purposely made sure to drink mine before finishing my food so I didn't have to end with it. Price/ I don't know the area well but beers were $7-$8 for 10 oz pours. For two burgers, one with bagged chips and one with upgraded fries, and 2 not good beers, our bill was $50+. Which isn't terrible, but I could find better places to eat for that price point.

Besides the staple menu, there was a rotating menu featuring a soup, mussel dish, flatbread, burger, and pasta. The food took some time to come out, and everything was rather bland across the board. The interior was decorated nicely for the holidays though. *Hummus Platter: a huge shareable for $10. The crispy naan resembled the Costco version but fried. The naan itself worked well as a base for the hummus, although the hummus was neither smooth nor flavorful. There was no fragrance from the chickpeas, and it tasted rather unseasoned. The selection of peppers, carrots, and cucumbers was decent. *Garlic Butter Mussels: their monthly mussel dish. The mussels were cooked well and coated in a one dimensional sauce. The sweet wine was cooked down with lots of garlic, while the butter was subtle. I wished there had been a bit more toasted baguette to balance the one pound of seafood. Note there is a 3% credit card surcharge. I could not find this listed on their menu and but I saw the charge on my receipt. I enjoyed the few beers I had, and the food was acceptable for a bar. With some improvement to the flavors, this could be a worthwhile visit for a bite and a drink.

My companion and I ended a late afternoon Williamsport visit/pub crawl at Riepstine's on a recent Friday. Fortunately for the other pubs, it was our last stop. The pub was surprisingly quiet when we arrived at around 6 PM on a Friday but we instantly felt right at home. The bartender, Jessica, was super cool and friendly as well as being very beer knowledgeable. Knowledgeable, but not snooty or pretentious about. It was fantastic to have a beee conversation without feeling talked down to. I really don't like beer snobs and they seem to have multiplied like rabbits I enjoyed a flight of five selections and all were excellent. I'd had Riepstine's beers at local beer bars and enjoyed the opportunity to sample at the source. They brew a variety of styles to suit everyone from a middle-of-the-roader (me) to more sophisticated tastes. These folks clearly know what they're doing. Riepstine's is a bit outside "downtown" Williamsport and the exterior is unremarkable EXCEPT they have a nice outdoor area. The interior is simple, leaning toward a modern style, and really charming . My companion's first reaction was "Whoa! This is NICE" (and she has high standards).
