I'll make this short. They took forever to get a quote. Quoted me 10k+ to paint the car with very minor bondo work needed on the spoiler which went against the initial estimate from Marc AND the price was with me removing all the trim and loosening the body panels. I had my car painted at Jacks. When I picked it up it had orange peel texture. When I asked about it, Mark, the owner, said that all cars have orange peel. I said it was unacceptable. He had me bring it back. He said he color sanded it but it came back with orange peel but now it has fine scratches noticeable. He said that was what you get for $8k. He said he was done and walked away. They had left adhesive gum on the rubber window trim and the black post between the front and back side windows had rubbing compound residue. DONT GO HERE. I took my car here for some front bumper work and unbeknownst to me, They left a sensor just hanging down from the bottom of my car. It dragged the ground for a couple of weeks until it was destroyed. My check engine light came on and when I took it to The dealer, that's when they found the sensor hanging down and even before I told them I had work done, they knew. So taking my car to this place to get fixed, cost me an extra $600. BE WARNED. read more

Rusty was recommended to me by my mechanic. He was thoughtful about any concerns and communicative, and I wasn't left wondering about the status of my car. It was done earlier than expected. They were able to give me an estimate on-site. Other places should have communicated with me instead of the insurance company. Three days was an average to get an estimate, and a week and a half to get the car in. Rusty got the part early and completed it in 3 days. Jack's has been my family's go to body repair shop for years. I recently was hit in an accident and needed some repairs. Marc and Rusty took care of me and made the process seamless. They worked directly with my insurance (AAA) and drove me to Enterprise to pick up a rental car. They were able to have Maaco repaint my car directly to match the color change I had made from the factory color. They were very responsive via phone and email and did superb work as always. I wouldn't advise anyone to bring their car here. These guys don't care about any detail. They just try to pass off their shotty work as "Their way" of doing things. I brought my 71 datsun to these guys after discussing the car with Marc. They said they could do it and quoted about 2500 to do the work I asked for. 2500 turned into 5000 within the span of a month and they didn't even finish the job. I took my car back as these guys clearly don't have any patience. They just try and rush their work and cut corners to save time and money, that their charging you more for. They do whatever they want with your car no matter what you tell them. They will rebuttal your claims with either " You didn't ask us to do that" or "That's the way we do things" on top of insulting you. The classic line I will never forget when on the phone with Marc "You're not paying for Ferrari work" That should tell you everything you need to know about this place. My husband passed away in February and my sister passed 6 weeks later. I called Mark and asked him what he thought my father(s) (deceased) '79 Chevy Big Ten might be worth. He came by house and said he would give me $5,000 for the truck. I was concerned about having enough money to bury my husband and sister and agreed. Mark paid me $4,000 and did some work on my Honda for the rest. I later had second thoughts and asked to buy the truck back. I offered to pay the $4,000 and pay for the work done on my car. Mark informed me he had done some work on the truck, which I'm sure how true that is, and was offered $15,000 as is by someone that wanted to buy it. I believe he knew what the truck was worth and took advantage of my vulnerability at the time of my grief. I guess taking advantage of a 70 year old woman means more than doing the right thing. I was referred to Jack's by a friend of mine after I had clipped a brick wall corner too closely in a parking garage. I didn't want to submit a claim through my insurance company, but was absolutely horrified to discover how much other body shops were quoting to have the damage repaired. After meeting with Mark at Jack's Auto Body, the quote he gave me simply seemed too good to be true. How could he possibly do a quality repair job for $1,100 when all of the 4 quotes I received from other shops were ranging from $2,500 up to $6,000+? My car was a lease so absolutely anything less than perfect was simply not an option...the repair HAD to be invisible!! But my friend reassured me of his work and honestly, I just got a really honest vibe from Mark when I met with him (not to mention all of the positive Yelp reviews for his shop). So I took a chance and threw caution to the wind. After having my car for only 5 days (all the other shops said they'd need anywhere from 2-3 weeks to complete the job), I got the call that my car was ready to be picked up. As I walked onto the lot...butterflies floating around my stomach in fear of the repair not being perfect...I was ecstatic to find my car back to the exact shape it was before that brick wall decided to ruin my month. I was amazed at how the paint matched perfectly, the curves and accents of the metal body flawlessly matched their twin panels on the other side of the car. Not so much as even a dimple remained on the 2 panels that he repaired. So I want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Jack's Auto Body for the work you did on my car. You saved my wallet literally thousands of dollars and made a believer that not all auto body shops are out to screw the customer for the almighty dollar. I recently got rear ended on I-5 and although the body damage was bad, the under carriage was much worse. The driver at faults insurance was trying to force me to use a preferred auto shop and also wanted me to keep driving my car around for the weekend due to their "policy". It was the weekend before Christmas and I had gotten a referral from a friend to go see Mark at Jack's Auto Shop. I came in the very next morning, Mark walked me through the process and I drove me to Enterprise to set up my rental car. He gave me great advice about rentals and was able to speak to the insurance company to help get the process started. After a few weeks with regular updates, I got my car back and it looked BRAND NEW! The damage was worse than we thought but Mark and his team were able to get everything taken care of. My car is running great! They even bumped put a few scratches and had my car washed (its so nice I swear it was waxed). Dont just take my word for it, see the before and after pictures! Sadly, I have come here many times ;) over the years. We have had our cars repainted (to fix a bad paint job when we bought a car), dings fixed, bumpers replaced, panels replaced, lights replaced, and even electrical repaired (they sent it out). Recently, I thought the electrical they sent out to be fixed was faulty, but it wasn't, but they helped me fix it anyway! Marc, Mel and his team are reliable, nice and affordable.
