Seems every time I go they have basically no donuts left. They seemingly carry very few of their namesake products. Their hours are almost always wrong as they either open a couple hours late or close a couple hours early. Oftentimes both in the same day. I'm convinced this place is here to raise property value of the houses nearby or something. Also when they do have donuts they are pretty meh and same can be said about the coffee. I happened upon these wonderful donuts by attending a Yelp Elite event in Hamilton County. I only had a small piece of a tiger tail donut, I knew I wanted more. I live in Avon and ventured all the way out to Fishers and lemme tell you...it was worth the drive. I got two dozen donuts for me, my friends and family to indulge. Will was the only person working at the time and he was awesome with suggestions and getting us boxed up and checked out. You have to get a dozen donuts because there are sooo many to choose from AND they are huge. There are Cronuts, tiger tails, cinnamon, sprinkles, Oreo, cream and jelly filled. I am not doing them any justice. You will just have to take my word for it and get you some! My only issue was they were a tad bit too sweet. Just a tad. While I always try to support local businesses, I've always been confused why everyone loves Jack's. Every doughnut taste the same. They're overly sweet, overly glazed, and not much variety in the *actual* flavors. The staff and service is spotty at best. read more

I'm going to try to keep this story short. I went to Jack's Donuts in Fishers yesterday evening, around 6:00 PM. Jack's Donuts Open sign was flashing (see picture of "hours" sign). The doors were lockSo, based on the huge sign in the window (pictured) I tried to order online, for pick-up Sunday. After spending some time on the worse website I have ever seen, I gave up and called the store. I placed the order and tried to pay with a gift card. Nobody could log the gift card over the phone. So, face mask on, I went in to pick up my order. Then I was told Jack's no longer accepted the gift card. The young man in the store asked me how much was left on the gift card. I did not know for sure, but "guessed" $50. I was charged for the doughnuts and given a "credit" receipt for the balance. Finally, I got home and the order was incorrect. C'mon, Jack's! read more

The best day consists of when I get my hands on some of their applesauce donuts. The worst day ever are days when they sell out of said donuts. Lines can get pretty long on the weekends, so you're gonna have to bring a napkin to wipe up that drool and suppress your hanger until you reach the front counter. I've heard nothing but amazing things about the Cronuts here and I was so excited to give them a try! But sadly, when I came in for a late breakfast/almost lunch, they were all gone! Bummed but not deterred I searched through the plethora of options, and landed on an applesauce cake donut. And what a great decision that was!! It was surprisingly light (not nearly as heavy as other donuts) and the taste was amazing! First donut place I've tried so far in Indianapolis and the donuts were pretty good! Went on a Sunday morning and they had a steady stream of customers but it wasn't crazy. The donuts were fresh and the flavors or sweetness wasn't overwhelming. They were even still good the next day. Also had a large iced latte and they use crushed ice instead of cubes, which I like a lot more because there's more room for coffee, and the coffee itself was good. read more

Not to the level of Tim's in McCordsville but still a very good location to indulge your sweet tooth. There are typically a stack of pre-packaged yeast donuts for quick pickup and reasonably priced to take to the office. The inside is pretty spartan in its layout...the tables appear to be an afterthought. I will stop back here since it's very convenient and reasonably priced...but Tim's has won my heart. Ok...so there's something wicked being sold here.... They are called do'ssants.........AND THEY ARE EVERYTHING! Donut croissants or what others might call cronuts...order them, you'll thank me later. The hubs and I had a hankerin for some donut goodness the other night and we stopped at Jack's. They have cinnamon rolls with multiple toppings on them; chocolate, oreo, and chocolate chips. Little piece of heaven tucked away in Fishers!! Get in line! It's simple. Donuts and coffee. Let me start by saying a friend and I started our run in the Saxony complex @ 800 AM and when we ran by Jack's, the line was out the door. We came back about an hour later by car, and we were still in a line of about 15 people. Now, don't let the lines keep you from checking out this goldmine. We had our donuts and coffee within 10 minutes! The Applesauce donut is the specialty, but there are so many more! And there are drinks for the little ones (milk, OJ, fountain drinks). In the summer they also have ice cream! Yeast, cake, Yeast, cake? Not sure? get a box full...they are a dollar apiece, unless you get one with toppings. And if you do that it's only 50 cents extra. Anyone in the Olio Road, Hamilton Town Center, St. Vincent Northeast, or IU Saxony area should check this place out. Excellent donuts, excellent coffee, awesome service. Check it out! read more

I'm bias because I've been eating Jack's donuts since the early 80's growing up in New Castle, Indiana. A "home town" favorite that should be your "Fishers Go-To Favorite" for donuts. A little Advice for Jack's new Fishers Location. They are so busy that they can run out of your favorites if you don't plan ahead. You can't just show up when everyone else does,... If you want your favorite that is :-) On the other hand if you like the crowds and don't mind settling for your 3rd or 4th best pick of donuts, then just show up with everyone else on a Saturday morning. I usually frequent the Carmel Jack's donuts, but I was in Saxony this morning and craving a donut so I figured I'd swing in to the Fishers store and grab one. What. The. F. Are these stores even related!? The donuts at the Fishers store were obviously old, the size of the apple fritters for the price was insane, and the quality of the donuts was laughable. I can't believe this store and the Carmel store are even the same company. The donuts there are always amazing, usually still hot, and the apple fritters barely even fit in the bag! Lesson learned. I love the doughnuts at Jack's. They have a wide variety -- cake, yeast, filled, holes, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters -- and everything I've tried so far is fresh and tasty. I sometimes think part of the charm is that Jack's doughnuts are generally twice as big as other stores' doughnuts. Of course, while this is great while you're eating them it might not be optimal if you're calorie-counting. The doughnuts with coconut flakes on top are particularly good, as are the cinnamon rolls with peanut butter and chocolate topping. Jack's also serves coffee and soft drinks, and recently they rearranged the interior so there is an actual coffee bar area. The tables and chairs for customers are spartan but functional, and a TV is constantly playing. I'm not a fan of watching TV while I eat but to judge by how often I find TVs in restaurants, I'm the exception. There's a "happy hour" in the late afternoon on Monday through Thursday during which you can get a free coffee/soft drink with your doughnut. A few parking spaces are in front, but there's also a larger parking lot to the side. read more

We stopped here after we couldn't find a parking space for the Indy Jack's. It was our first time to Jack's and I was looking forward to going after reading the "hype." We ordered about one of each donut to sample, and honestly the donuts are each a little more bland than I expected them to be. They have a weird sugary taste, and lack a flavor "substance" that I was expecting. A similar taste between the many different donuts, despite toppings. I am always a fan of "local" donut shops. I will take one over a national chain even if it doesn't have great donuts. Knowing that someone got up early and made the donuts right behind the counter makes a difference to me. This place is why I prefer the local spots. They have great donuts and a great selection. Even just having a young kid in shorts and a t-shirt with a smile getting you a donut makes it feel like a good place. It is not on the main road within a giant strip mall so you have to go find the place. It is definitely worth the effort. Swing by and check them out and try a couple donuts. The donuts are large, sweet, and covered in delicious frosting. I'm partial to the peanut butter cup donut, it's to die for. If you are lucky enough to stop in the evening, the apple fritters are great when they come out of the kitchen. The girls and I that I work with are obsessed with Jack's chocolate cake donuts. We work less than 5 minutes from the Carmel location, but there's only one issue--the Carmel location NEVER has them (we called every day for two weeks straight). So, we discovered the Jack's in Fishers. Not only do they have a consistent schedule so you can expect when you can find certain types/flavors, but the people that work here are incredible. Today we drove over 20 miles from work to get a dozen chocolate cake donuts and received outstanding service. When the employee saw how giddy we were (yes, it's embarrassing), he snuck us an extra two donuts. Moral of the story?
