The girls and I that I work with are obsessed with Jack's chocolate cake donuts. We work less than 5 minutes from the Carmel location, but there's only one issue--the Carmel location NEVER has them (we called every day for two weeks straight). So, we discovered the Jack's in Fishers. Not only do they have a consistent schedule so you can expect when you can find certain types/flavors, but the people that work here are incredible. Today we drove over 20 miles from work to get a dozen chocolate cake donuts and received outstanding service. When the employee saw how giddy we were (yes, it's embarrassing), he snuck us an extra two donuts. Moral of the story? Skip the Carmel location if you're on the hunt for a chocolate cake donut that's not checking boxes. Head straight to the Fishers location on Thursdays! read more

When we get donuts on some Sunday mornings, we get there early to make sure we get what we want! Having a 10% off discount card is always a plus. The donuts are always good, fresh and the staff is friendly most of the time. If you happen to get one of the guys who makes the donuts to wait on you, you will likely find the customer service poor. Those guys don't want to be bothered. If you are waited on by one of the high school aged kids, you're good to go. The guy who left a review about these donuts not being as good as Daylight Donuts has no taste buds, so he doesn't really know what he is talking about and you shouldn't put any wait into his review at all. And here's a clue - Daylight Donuts is out of business for a reason. The apple fritters here are very good but my 'go to' pastry is the jelly filled. read more

Not a ton of helpful info to share because my wife is the one who picked up the donuts while I sat in the car (broken leg problems), but HOOOOOOLY this place delivers. I went here for the first time yesterday, after hearing so many good things about the donuts, and my wife and I weren't disappointed at all. The donuts are very chewy, delicious, and tough to put down. Be sure to pick up a half dozen or dozen cake donut holes as well. They are far better than the Krispy Kreme's you get in the stores. The only negatives I can speak of, and they really aren't that big of a deal, is that the business itself seems very small and the prices are somewhat higher than what you would normally pay for a donut. Due to these factors, their donut offerings are a bit limited, and on top of this, you wind up paying around $12 for a dozen donuts after tax. You could custom order donuts if you really wanted, but then you'll get charged even more. I still prefer my childhood #1 donut/pastry shop Concannon's over Jack's due to their massive selection, taste, and cheaper prices, but Jack's certainly isn't far behind when it comes to quality. Stopped here after a local race to carb down. Even though it was extra crowded the service was fast and efficient. My donuts tasted fresh with just a hint of the apple flavor I really wanted. My only complaint was that they were out of several varietals, but it was understandable given the rush. Definitely worth a shot! read more

Staff isn't very friendly and lack in customer service; I've had donuts upside down in my bags and boxes. Coffee can be empty and supplies like plates can run short. Coke machines regularly have signs that they are out of order. Surprised it stays in business. Jack's is probably my favorite doughnut place on the Northside. I have been in here several times and have not been disappointed. The cinnamon donuts are similar to a cinnamon roll with flavored icing on top. They are quite solid, so you really only need to order one, because of its density. They have a nice selection of the usual glazed, cake, and long johns as well as donut holes. I like that they are open until 9pm since I am not an early bird, but still have the option of getting my doughnut fix later in the day. read more

Great donuts! Great Service! Today I was lucky enough to get donuts that had just came out and were still warm. Delicious! Parking is great, there are usually spaces out front that are available. I'm not a huge donut fan, but I really like Jack's. They are usually very busy on the weekends. I love the cake donuts and the cro-nuts (croissants+donuts), but these are usually just on the weekends. Only reason I gave them 4 and not 5 is because they are on the more expensive end and always busy when I want a donut, which I'm not sure if that's a bad thing. The Applesauce donuts are like crack for me and I've been a fan of Jack's for a long time. I've known about them from my parents in family who all grew up in New Castle so when I heard they opened a location about 5 minutes from me, I was all over it. My boyfriend was overly excited and I'm sure it's because he would eat donuts for every meal if he could. We've been twice now and both times we've had to wait in line (not a problem at all). They have a wide variety but make sure you go early! The second time we went they had run out of the applesauce donut (my favorite) so I just had to choose the cream filled, caramel iced one. Yum! I came in with a friend and we each ordered pretty close to the same thing. I got a cinnamon twist donut, a red velvet cake donut, & a chocolate brown donut. The red velvet donut was definitely good, but it was a little bit dry. Good food and coffee every time I go very consistent. Donuts are slightly about average most are yeast type. Well above average coffee.
