I love Jack's and I spend a lot of money here when I can .. HOWEVER the staff at Jack's Girls from what I have experienced on numerous occations is not the friendliest. My last visit was a few nights ago, and when my boyfriend and I walked in I was so excited to do some major damage to my bank account. The girls at the counter kind of turned around and said hi, and let us be on our way. It was about 8pm, so they weren't closing real soon, but they looked as if they were already ready for it. i walked toward the other side of the store and started taking things and at one point had about 12 things in my hand .. The girls never once offered to take my things and start a room, there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS so it is not like they were busy or anything. Whatever .. I went on shopping .. I then asked to get a room and since I had a bundle of items I asked how many I could take in and she just said oh I trust you .. fine with me .. probably not with her boss but whatever ... She did check on me once to see if I needed anything, whoopee, and that was it .. when I came out she took what I didn't want and what I was going to purchase .. As I approached the cash register there was a large group of what appeared to be the employees' friends with rice krispy treats or something and laughing and giggling and not paying attention at all to the fact that they now had three customers in the store .. I just wanted to leave at this point so I waited to pay, but the service was definitely not what I get at HSS or similar stores on Main St. .. even Jack's next door for menswear is way friendlier and helpful ... All in all I most likely will return but ONLY because they always have a good selection of clothes, and the prices are not too bad .. read more

This is my favorite retailer in HB and certainly a fun place to spend time on Main Street. It's full of expensive beachy clothes that are so cute! This is my personal favorite stylre of clothing - so remember that on my birthday! I love the clothes, shoes, hats, and gear. It's a girly store, for girls....it's the best. read more

Tons of great goodies and gifts for Christmas. Came downtown on a busy Saturday afternoon, but the selection here is worth the crowd. Marissa was very sweet and a HUGE help. We found three cozy sweaters that my daughter will love for Christmas! I felt very welcome here and will definitely return soon. The staff were more than accomodating. I never write reviews for a business but had to give this place a rating it deserves! If you ever find yourself in downtown HB stop by, you wont leave empty handed! Extra tip: park in the structures, avoid hectic meter parking! read more

Just went and purchased sunglasses and was bummed that my higher end glasses didn't come with a hard case. When I asked to speak with the manager Kelly, she was pretty rude about telling me that I had no option and should go to CVS to buy a case. Normally, that would be fine but her attitude was quite rude and condescending. If I'm purchasing $150 glasses, I want them protected. The only reason I purchased them from Jacks Girls is because they happened to have a sale and these glasses in stock. I'm a HB local and have never been treated with such rude attitudes from this store. I won't be coming back and I'll make sure to keep my business at HSS or Active. read more

I love their selection of clothing here, the most I have ever seen for Women's skate/surf clothes in one spot ever before. I agree that the sales girls don't really care that you exist. Most of the time I prefer to be left alone when I am shopping so I don't really care. These girls are paid to stand around, fold t-shirts, gossip, and look hot anyway, consider the area. read more

I cannot believe how rude these workers work here! I'm from LA and I asked by the name of "Emily" on the phone to put two things on hold for me until the upcoming Friday. The day before Friday, I called and asked to make sure my stuff was in hold and it still is under my name. So I was delighted they would let me put on hold knowing how far it is to travel here to get my items I was excited to get it. As soon as I got there on Friday, no greet whatsoever and all I got was dead stares from these girls. Did not acknowledge at all, the fact I came in and asked for my hold and suddenly my hold was never been found. The workers looked at each other all clueless when I said I spoke to someone name "Emily" and they did not apologize. I was at least lucky to find my hold but towards at the end of the thing I was upset with their attitude. When I went to buy the items that were suppose to be on hold, the girl at the cash rep looked at me weird and did not ask how I was doing or that no one helped me. This is bad customer sale connection! I ended up buying what I wanted but unfortunately I walked out and came back 10 minutes later and returned what I bought. I was pissed off. The girl who rang me at the guys side (since I was furious at the girls who worked on the girls side) this girl looks at me terribly and gave the worst attitude ever! I wish I got to know their names or even at least talk to their guys managers but I remember these faces clearly. It sucks when you like to shop somewhere but the employees terribly suck at customer service. Never again will forget my experience and what a waste going here. Spending an hour for traffic to this place and knowing WHAT IF my holds were gone it was just a waste when I called to make sure my hold was still there the day before. Too bad these girls don't have respect whatsoever. read more

On 8-12-16 @ 6 pm I walked into Jacks Girls and looked at the wood paintings on display in front of the store. I flipped one painting and all the wood ones behind it came crashing down on my finger. The store manager mocked me when I told her the wood paintings all fell on my finger after incident when I addressed her behind the register. I originally informed the customer service woman with blonde bob. The store Manager had brown curly hair. Prior to the accident with my finger my husband and I asked that store manager for size 1 vans high top and she brought out size 12. After I asked pretty Asian employee who store manager was she said "Sydney". The store manager at that time was mocking me after I told her about incident behind cash register. I went to Jacks guys store and reported to Mikah who then took name & number to report to HR. Showed him my finger which has a bruise mark on nail bed and bloody cuticle. Just wanted to post because thank goodness a child did not scroll through the display of heavy wooden paintings on the lower shelf like I did. Maybe the store owner should cross reference his cameras with my story. Jacks guys has way better service. Jacks girls not so much. We shop on Main Street HB often. Jacks girls has great product but the service is horrible. The shoe display shelf fell on a little girl while we were in the store as well. The staff is too busy chatting among each other and obviously have no training for accidents in the store. We were wanting to purchase new vans high tops for our 6 year old. But walked out due to customer service was so poor. read more
