Stopped by Jack's this morning for a quick biscuit. Had the sausage and egg biscuit. Very good biscuit for the value. Although the biscuit was a little undercooked and doughy this morning, most mornings it is spot on. Their customer service is always the best. And if you chose to dine in, their dinning room reminds me of home. Very comfortable, well lit and cozy. Jack's is always a winner! read more

The conecuh sausage hotdog is a miss. Jack's presents it in a boat type container, which is fine, but it's not wrapped, the bun was in two pieces and slightly stale. They can do much better. Conecuh sausage is always good. read more

34 weeks pregnant, pulled into jacks at 8:24am to get a biscuit for breakfast and it took 15 minutes to get a biscuit ORDERED through the drive up, while four cars waited behind me. Was told to pull around and someone MAY bring out your food. Get out of the car and go inside which I didn't want to do or I would have from the beginning. I love going to Jacks for breakfst. The Helena store never has enough help. The tv has been broken for 3 weeks. There is no comparison between the Helena store and the Montevallo store or the Airport store or Morgan Road in Bessemer. read more

So I don't know why I didn't eat Jack's growing up, but apparently I've been missing out. I love Jack's, especially their breakfast! I would always pass by Jack's and would see a long line during the morning hours. So one day, I finally decided to try their breakfast. I think it's called the Deluxe breakfast, but it's so good. It comes with a buttery biscuit, gravy, 2 sausage patties, eggs, and hash browns. The gravy even has chunks of sausage in it! I usually substitute the sausage patties for bacon. This breakfast beats any other fast food breakfast as far as taste is concerned. The hash browns to me, are way better than Chic Fil A's hash browns. The Deluxe breakfast is even almost up there with Waffle House All Star breakfast. The other good thing about the Deluxe breakfast is it's super cheap. All of that food just for $6. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and ranch dressing. They gave me 4 small containers of ranch dressing and none of them were sealed. There was ranch dressing all over the inside of the bag. What a mess! Also, the chicken on the salad were large, but they only provided a fork. So I had to break the chicken t Into chewable pieces with my hand. Same thing with the tomato. Not sure if why they didn't provide a knife. Trying to eat the salad was quite a feat. Ugh. read more

Not good at all. Ordered assuming they had things they were supposed to have. Only sauces they had were BBQ and Buffalo. They gave us a Fanta with the outside covered in Fanta with the top not on. Employees were standing around cutting up the whole time we were waiting on our food. My sweet tea was spoiled and our fries were cold. My sandwich was good considering they didn't have any sauce. Would not recommend. I won't be back. Plenty of other options like Freddy's that always has good service. read more

Let me start by saying I am a huge five star rating Jack's fan!! This review is not technically for Jack's restaurant...it's actually for a menu item! The new Pork Chop plate and Pork Chop biscuit... If you are a restaurant located in the South...do not choose a cut of pork and then cook it wrong for Southern cooks who know how to cook it correctly!! Jacks is using pork loin as their pork Chop.,,and out of ignorance and obvious fear they are burning the meat till it's hard through and through!! Horrible taste, horrible flavor...dryer than a dish towel! Just simply an insult to pork!! On the other hand...they cook their chicken perfectly!! Does not make any sense at all! Don't bother trying to talk to manager about it..,they will rudely tell you that they are cooking to standards chosen by Jacks corporate and they have no ability to make a customer happy by not burning your pork!! So....if you want a "great" pork Chop go to Hardee's And order theirs!! They are actually serving pork chops not loin and they are incredible!! Had a double biscuit with gravy today....I don't know what went wrong in their kitchens today...the gravy tastes like bland pasty flour soup. No seasoning...no sausage...zero flavor...everybody in the family tasted it nobody would eat it!! Horrible! read more

Love the food, but had a service miss at Jack's this morning (and shame on me for not checking my order). Purchased/paid for 12 biscuits to share with the crew this morning, and received 9 (shorted 3 smoked sausage biscuits). Like I said, I didn't double check, just trusted that the order was assembled correctly. Due to traffic took me 30 minutes to get to my place of business in Pelham where I unloaded the sack and realized only had 9 biscuits :(. I take half the blame for not checking, but gotta say I was still kind of disappointed. Moral of the story: ALWAYS check your order! read more

I have been to this location multiple times, and have literally never been through the drive through here without some kind of issue. I almost always have to pull forward and wait 5-10 minutes for my food, even when I order just a burger and fries. Tonight, I ordered a dinner plate. I waited 14 minutes for my food. I got home and had no silverware, no napkins, and no biscuit. I am usually very understanding when it comes to this stuff, because I work in the service industry. It's happened so many times though, that I had to say something. This location really needs to get it together. read more

Just a note of thanks to Keith (Asst Mgr) at the Helena store. Few weeks ago we ordered takeout through drive through. They didn't give us all of our 2 pc dinner, leaving off the green beans and potatoes/gravy. Called store from home immediately after realizing their mistake. Keith said to let him know next time we were coming in and he'd make it right. True to his word he did, and then some! Not only did he comp that meal, but also the rest of the order to make it up to us. In my experience the two places that normally get your to-go order correct are Jack's and Milo's. read more

The newest restaurant in Helena to date. We are so glad that Jacks moved into our little town. Prior to this location opening we would go to the one in Alabaster. This has become my families go to spot for a quick breakfast! The service is super friendly! The interior is always clean. Orders are consistently prepared promptly and to your individual specifications. Far and away the best quick service breakfast spot in Helena and it shows by the immense crowd this location draws... Especially on weekends. In addition to breakfast the fried chicken and chicken fingers are very good. My wife and kids enjoy the ice cream and shakes on occasion as well. This place is great for what it is... Fast food w quality service. Far superior to the mcdumpster fire across the way. read more

This is the worst jacks I've ever been to. I keep wanting to give them more chances because I live in the area and love jacks. But this particular location is TRASH. Their employees are rude and never get your orders right. Just today, they were arguing with us about ordering drinks. We got to the window and they said we didn't order any. WHO DOESNT ORDER DRINKS WITH THEIR MEAL?!?! The last two milkshakes I've gotten have been half full. Don't even get me started on forgetting the condiments with my chicken fingers. Oh and today my chicken fingers had bones in them. This place sucks. I'd rather eat wet cardboard. read more

Came to Jack's after an awful experience at McDonalds. It's great how Jack's ice cream machine is never broken! This Jack's somehow finds people that care about their job, care about the customers and care about the customer experience. How can it be so night and day from what other local fast food restaurants have to offer? I don't know how you do it but keep it up. The customer service alone will always bring me back. I have been to several Jack's over the past years and this one by far has to be the absolute worst. I went here a few weeks ago and waited in the drive thru only to have the person on the speaker have an attitude while taking my order. I finally get to the window and get my food, the fries were hot and the burger was super cold. My drive across the st wasn't far enough for my burger to get cold and fries still be piping hot, so they gave it to me this way. I told myself I was only going to give them one more chance, and yesterday was it. Went there with a coupon code for free burger with purchase of fries and drink. I even upgraded my fries to garlic parmesan and added a pie. They didn't give me the drink, then when I called there to voice my concern, someone not capable of handling the situation picked up and told me sorry. Didn't try to get my drink that I had paid for replaced at all, I had to request a manager. Jessica wasn't much nicer but offered to make my drink lg whenever I came back. I guess Jessica or smart guy doesn't know that gas cost triple that lemonade I ordered . Moral of the story, check your food and the temp before you go pulling outta their drive thru because they pretty much suck there. read more
