The restaurant has a warm and relaxed vibe. It's bright and spacious too. There's also a bar, slot machines, and karaoke. The menu is expansive, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The paper menus should've been laminated in my opinion, though. It would give them a more aesthetic appeal. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was decent. The fries are fresh cut, which was a nice surprise. My brother had a burger with a side of vegetables. He thought it was wonderful. My sister had the BBQ chicken sandwich and tater tots. She was less than enthusiastic about her food. She said the tater tots tasted as though they had been fried in old grease. The tots were also fried much too long. She didn't like the BBQ sauce on the sandwich and thought the chicken was just okay. She also ordered the frozen house punch. She didn't realize that the drink was pre-made and kept in a large, plastic container that's stationary at the bar. Every so often, the bartender measured the alcohol content and added more as necessary to keep it at a certain level. It's a common practice, but the drink wasn't very good. She thought it would've been mixed in a blender upon ordering. If she'd known that it wasn't, then she wouldn't have ordered it. The manager (presumably) stopped by the table to see how everything was going. She asked how we liked the food and if our waitress was taking care of us. She stopped at nearly every table to speak with many of the guests. That was nice to see because that kind of thing is a bit of an anomaly these days. It was nice to see an employee at a restaurant seemingly cared about the service they were providing. Overall, the experience at Tommy's was positive. None of us were blown away or anything, but it was a decent first impression nonetheless. I'd return for a second visit, but that singular experience was enough for my sister. She'd likely not return if given the choice.

The Whistle is a great place for watching games or any sports. Maybe just get better food. You can find crap tons to get but it could be too complicated for the chaotic kitchen. Crowded when we got in. It's got a few big ass TVs so you can watch tons of games going on. There's a lot of areas for tables. Along the walls were the more personal ones for couples. There's also a long bar but there was no room there. It has a lot of specials including Teeling Small Batch whiskey shots at $5 on Mondays. There's a crap ton on the menu including tacos. A lot of things to choose from. It's about $11 for the Vegetable Tacos. A great choice among the vegetarian options. These are topped with avocado, cheese but I left it off, lettuce, onions, peppers, and pico de gallo, filling stuff. Great place for hanging and being crazy. The waiter (a younger woman) sighed and brought the drinks When my mom asked for another drink the waitress looked at her "I need to get out of this fucking place" and proceeded to have her BOYFRIEND who doesn't even work there bring the check to my parents. My mom asked if they did something to upset her and her boyfriend replied "she's having a bad day" I've NEVEr experienced such awful behavior from someone who can't even do the basics of their job.
