The Ark is located off Main Street in Springville, Al. They have parking on both sides of the building. Overall, this was a solid visit. My family and I avoid fast food as much as possible but every now and then we go to Jacks in Springville. I worked at a Jacks years ago and I have always liked the chicken. I leave this review not after one experience but many, sporadicly over 3 years. The staff is always kind. Always. But the food seems like it is never fresh. Granted, I come randomly and never on a breakfast shift. I strictly order chicken fingers. I got 12 chicken fingers last night around 830 and they were all hard and dry. Thankfully, I was feeding drunk people. But if I was feeding my family? I would have been pissed. Every time I think, I'll slip some fast food in - I am reminded of why I cook at home. I really wonder if this is the fault of the staff for not having a fresh batch available or if this is the quality of meat they are sending you. It is subpar. I come to jacks because I think "it's real chicken" but last night, I could have gotten a 40 piece McNugget and felt better because at least I knew I was buying garbage when I swiped my card. read more
